STAT: Juventus have scored five stoppage time goals in the last seven Turin derbies including tonight.
90' +1
P. Dybala has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by G. Higuaín.
DYBALA MAKES IT FOUR AT THE DEATH! Torino protesting for an offside call but the young Argentine tracked his run perfectly! Higuain took a pass with his back to goal and spun around a Torino defender before sending it through for Dybala to dink beyond Sirigu. Another phenomenal effort for Paulo Dybala tonight!
Higuain may not have a chance to score tonight, but he will be credited with an assist.
88'
IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOUR! A cross from the right is met by an open Costa who volleyed the ball furiously on goal. Sirigu did well to parry the shot and De Silvestri headed away the danger. The ball was recycled into the box and a daring overhead kick by Dybala goes well wide.
86'
Lichtsteiner delivered a beautiful ball from the right, but the Torino defender got to it before it had a chance to drop for Higuain.
85'
STAT: Gonzalo Higuain – who only recently came on – has scored three goals in his last two Turin Derbies.
83'
A. Acquah gets yellow.
Acquah, who was brought on in a tactical switch after the sending off has picked up a yellow card of his own after sticking a leg out while Dybala was running with the ball.
80'
G. Higuaín enters the game and replaces M. Mandžukić.
Mandzukic seems to have a bit of a problem with his right leg after being kicked by a Torino midfielder. He will be substituted out and replaced by Gonzalo Higuain.
77'
Juventus are just looking to wind down the clock and preserve their clean sheet. It has been a simple and straight-forward second half mandate for Juventus who have gone on to stamp their authority on their rivals and secure all three points.
75'
S. Gustafson enters the game and replaces T. Rincón.
Rincon will be replaced by Samuel Gustafson.
74'

R. Bentancur enters the game and replaces B. Matuidi.
Blaise Matuidi will be taken off for the twenty year-old Bentancur.
70'
L. Boyé enters the game and replaces M. Niang.
M’Baye Niang’s night is done as he will make way for Boye.
69'
A CRAZY SCRAMBLE IN FRONT OF TORINO’S GOAL LEADS TO NOTHING. Torino defenders were throwing themselves desperately in front of the ball as four or five Juventus players had a swing at it. None of them were able to turn it in and Torino are somewhat lucky to escape with only a corner to defend.
68'
Dybala took the free-kick with his left and forced a great stop out of Sirigu who tipped it behind for a Juventus corner.
67'
Lichtsteiner wins a free-kick after trying to run past Rincon. The play was blown dead as the referee judged that the Torino player was obstructing the Swiss full-back.
66'
IT SHOULD BE 4-0. Costa put the ball in the box from the left flank and Benatia met it exceptionally well with his head. Sirigu showed fantastic reflexes to get down and make the stop. Even the Juventus centre-back is in disbelief.
64'
Max Allegri possibly has one eye on Juventus’ midweek Champions League match against Olympiakos. Seeing the game is more or less won, the coach now has the luxury of giving some of his starting players a much deserved rest.
62'
F. Bernardeschi enters the game and replaces J. Cuadrado.
Juan Cuadrado, who had an assist on Juventus’ second goal of the night will be replaced by the former Fiorentina forward Bernardeschi.
59'
Torino are being pinned in their own half but have been given some respite as Cuadrado makes an ill-advised challenge which leads to a Toro free-kick deep in their own half.
57'
Alex Sandro has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by M. Pjanić.
AND FROM THE CORNER ITS 3-0! Alex Sandro rose highest and met the Miralem Pjanic cross fantastically well! Sirigu was unaware of it until it was past him and in the back of the net. It’s more misery for the visiting Torino!
Pjanic, as the corner-kick taker, gets an assist on the goal.
56'
Mandzukic does incredibly well to back-heel a give and go pass to Lichtsteiner but the ball rolled out well for a corner.
54'
Chiellini begins a counter-attack but his through ball was asking too much of Mandzukic and the ball rolls all the way to Sirigu to collect with his hands.
52'
STAT: Neither side has been held goalless in the Serie A this year and have a combined 24 goals in 10 games.
50'
Juventus are once again controlling the flow, constantly probing and passing around the Torino defense. Alex Sandro has been a bright spark on the left-hand side and Juventus could capitalize on his spectacular crosses and mazy runs.
48'
ALEX SANDRO JUST OVER THE BAR! The Brazilian left-back found himself in a central position just outside the box with nobody around him and opted to strike it at goal. It was a brilliant effort but was always rising above Salvatore Sirigu.
47'
Juventus have started off bright, winning a corner off of Niang. Pjanic passes short to Cuadrado and the ball eventually goes out for a Juventus throw on the right-hand side.
45' +2
Ljajic curls in an identical free-kick but this time a Juventus defender got a head away to clear it for a corner which leads to nothing. The referee blows his whistle to end the first half.
45' +1
M. Benatia gets yellow.
Benatia is given a yellow card one minute from time after tripping up Andrea Belotti.
45'
The referee has signalled that there will be two added minutes at the end of the first half.
Neither side has chosen to make a change at the interval as Juventus get us underway for the second half.
44'
The ball is crossed fantastically well by Ljajic but Belotti can’t get a toe on it. Buffon did well to parry the ball out of danger and out for a corner which is cleared well by the Juventus defence.
43'
Ansaldi wins a free kick on the left-hand side after Dybala put a poorly timed challenge on his fellow Argentinian.
42'
Things have gone from bad to worse for Il Toro who have looked devoid of any attacking intent since going down a man. It may have to be damage control for the away side in the second half.
40'
M. Pjanić has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by J. Cuadrado.
Juan Cuadrado is given the assist after playing the centring ball to Pjanic.
ITS 2-0 TO JUVENTUS! Alex Sandro played an early ball to Mandzukic who leaves it to run for Cuadrado on the right. The Colombian winger then centred the ball to Pjanic who was waiting just outside the area and struck it first time. A beautiful curling strike that Sirigu had absolutely no chance with.
39'
A. Ljajić gets yellow.
Ljajic’s second foul in two minutes earns himself a yellow card. The referee has made it clear that the card was not for the challenge on Lichtsteiner, but for booting the ball away in petulance.
37'
Adem Ljajic hits the free-kick with venom and power but it cannons into the wall. The ensuing counter-attack is halted when Ljajic cynically brought down Paulo Dybala. It’s end to end action at the Allianz!
36'
Andrea Belotti drove to the Juventus goal by himself, and was fouled in the process. Great holdup play by the young Italian striker and they have won themselves a free-kick in an advantageous position.
34'
Cuadrado was played down the right by Lichtsteiner but in an attempt to get by Lyanco he pulled down the Brazilian defender. A stupid foul to give away in such a good attacking position.
32'
Juventus had a great chance with Pjanic taking a shot from the top of the box, but Sirigu did well to punch clear. Confusion on the right-hand side of the Juventus attack let the ball roll for a Torino throw but Juventus have since regained possession and are once again on the attack.
30'
A. Acquah enters the game and replaces Iago Falqué.
And here comes the substitution, with Afriyie Acquah replacing the attack-minded former Juventus player Iago Falque.
28'
Juventus can now take things down to a walking pace. Their man advantage in midfield will make their passing moves much more fluid, especially with Mihajlovic electing to not make an immediate substitution.
26'
That is certainly not the way that Mihajlovic would have wanted his team to respond after going a goal behind. Playing against Juventus with eleven men is a difficult enough task – let alone with ten. Tempers were always threatening to spill over in such a hotly contested derby, but it was a moment of pure insanity from Baselli.
24'
D. Baselli gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
OH AND IT’S A SECOND YELLOW FOR BASELLI! Torino have made things a lot harder on themselves! Twenty-four minutes in and the visitors are down to 10 men. A shocking tackle by Baselli who jumped into Pjanic during an aerial duel. A fully deserved second yellow.
22'
Torino must respond positively to going a goal behind away from home. They are getting a fair share of possession but a lack of incisiveness and sloppy play as a result of the Juve press have gotten the better of Il Toro so far.
20'
Cuadrado’s pass down the line for Mandzukic was contested by Lyanco, who was fouled off of the ball by the Croatian striker. Free-kick to Torino.
18'
STAT: Juventus have been undefeated in home derbies for 22 years, last losing in 1995.
16'
P. Dybala has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by M. Pjanić.
Pjanic, who got the poke to cause the turnover and send Dybala on his way has been awarded the assist.
AND THERE IT IS FROM PAULO DYBALA! 1-0 Juventus! The high press from the Bianconeri has paid off! Baselli’s pass is tipped by Pjanic and it runs through for Dybala who poked it past Sirigu into the bottom-right corner. The hosts lead in the derby!
14'
Sandro tries another cross from the left but a Torino defender gets a head to it where it falls to Niang. A bad touch from the Frenchman gifts Juventus a throw-in in an attacking position.
13'
Alex Sandro centres from the left-hand side to Dybala who misses the pass and it rolls all the way to the other flank for Lichtsteiner to collect and recycle play.
11'
Pjanic and Dybala stand over the free-kick that looks just slightly too far to be hit on goal.
The ball is chipped over the wall by Pjanic but Cuadrado is slightly too slow to bring the ball down and Sirigu handles it well. A half-chance that caught the Toro defenders off-guard goes begging.
10'
D. Baselli gets yellow.
Baselli has been booked for a cynical tug-back on a charging Paulo Dybala.
8'
Adem Ljajic tries a strike from outside the Juventus penalty area but the shot goes high and wide to the right – no trouble to Buffon.
7'
ALMOST FROM CUADRADO! He took the ball from Dybala and danced into the penalty area, ghosting past four defenders and chipping it just over Sirigu’s goal. The referee has given a goal-kick though replays show a clear deflection from a Torino defender.
5'
Lichtsteiner taken down after a give and go with Cuadrado but the referee deemed it to be fair play from Baselli and the ball runs for a Torino goal-kick.
4'
Torino now enjoying their first spell of sustained possession, probing the Juventus midfield and pulling back to reset the attack. An errant back-pass from Lyanco almost caused an own goal before Sirigu’s sliding kick put it clear and away from danger.
2'
Juventus have started very well here, controlling possession and working the ball around the pitch confidently and putting the Torino defence in some awkward situations early.
1'
Torino get us underway in their traditional maroon kit, attacking from right to left!
Good evening and welcome to our live commentary of the Derby della Mole between Juventus and Torino live from the Allianz Stadium!
Today, Juventus and Torino will contest the 196th edition of the Turin Derby. The Bianconeri have dominated recent results, having gone undefeated in their last five meetings with Il Toro, winning four by a combined score of 13 to 3.
The hosts have won their last five Serie A fixtures on the bounce, keeping three clean sheets in the process. Striker Paulo Dybala has been in scintillating form recently and is currently in pole position for the Capocannoniere title.
Juventus currently sit in second place, three points back of Napoli but having played a game less. Lack of defensive cohesion as a result of the summer transfer window has somewhat effected their early season, but a perfect start is all that coach Max Allegri could hope for.
With just under fifteen minutes until kick-off, lets take a look at the confirmed team news, starting with the home side.
Juventus subs: Wojciech Szczesny, Carlo Pinsoglio, Andrea Barzagli, Daniele Rugani, Kwadwo Asamoah, Rodrigo Bentancur, Stefano Sturaro, Federico Bernardeschi, Gonzalo Higuain.
Juventus starting XI (4-5-1): Gianluigi Buffon; Stephan Lichtsteiner, Mehdi Benatia, Giorgio Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Blaise Matuidi, Miralem Pjanic; Juan Cuadrado, Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa; Mario Mandzukic.
Torino starting XI (4-2-3-1): Salvatore Sirigu; Lorenzo De Silvestri, Lyanco Vojnovic , Nicolas NKoulou, Cristian Ansaldi; Tomas Rincon, Daniele Baselli; Adem Ljajic, Iago Falque, M’Baye Niang; Andrea Belotti.
Torino subs: Salvador Ichazo, Cristian Molinaro, Mirko Valdifiori, Afriyie Acquah, Nicolas Burdisso, Samuel Gustafson, Simone Edera, Alex Berenguer, Emiliano Moretti, Lucas Boye, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, Umar Sadiq.
Massimiliano Allegri opts to make seven changes to the side that won 1-0 against Fiorentina midweek. Captain Gianluigi Buffon regains his place in goal while Alex Sandro, Benatia, Chiellini and Lichtsteiner replace Asamoah, Barzagli, Rugani and Sturaro respectively. Matuidi keeps his position in the side and will partner Pjanic instead of Bentacur while in attack Douglas Costa takes Higuain’s position – with the former Napoli and Real Madrid striker having to settle for a place on the bench.
Sinisa Mihajlovic can be similarly pleased with Torino’s bright start to 2017. I Granata are on an undefeated streak of their own, dropping only 4 points over their last five games which has seen them rise to sixth place in the standings. A lethal strike partnership of Andrea Belotti and Adem Ljajic has propelled last years’ 9th place finishers to a 2 goal per game average and will look to victimize a Juventus defensive unit who will be missing two key summer signings: Mattia De Sciglio and Benedikt Hoewedes.
Sinisa Mihajlovic only makes one change from Torino’s midweek eleven which saw off Udinese 3-2 with Lorenzo De Silvestri coming in for Cristian Molinaro who is relegated to the bench. Today’s line-up features two former Juventus players in Iago Falque and Tomas Rincon – the latter of whom was present in Juventus’ run to the Champions League final last season. Both teams have shown a flare for attacking play and it looks to be a high scoring affair.
Max Allegri should be very pleased with how his team has performed so far. Juventus have pressed exceptionally well, causing all kinds of havoc for the Torino back-line. Juve have held possession and controlled the tempo, forcing Il Toro to chase shadows at times – especially after having been reduced to ten.
What looked like an even contest early on quickly turned into a half where Juventus dominated without the need to break a sweat. A Paulo Dybala strike after sixteen minutes got the Bianconeri going and it was all downhill from there for Torino. A sending off for Daniele Baselli and a Miralem Pjanic curler to double the lead has left Mihajlovic with a lot to think about tactically going into the halftime interval.
It promises to be another exciting half of football after the break, and it would not be shocking to see goals and cards flow upon the restart.
Torino clear their lines and the referee blows his whistle for the final time tonight. FULL TIME: Juventus 4 – 0 Torino.
For Juventus, it was business as usual today. Four goals will certainly satisfy the manager, but he will be equally as pleased with his side’s defensive showing – keeping a second clean sheet in as many games. It was the perfect match to prepare Juventus for their Champions League tie against Olympiakos midweek – a clash which the Bianconeri will go into full of confidence.
It was a game that promised goals, cards and end to end action, and we were lucky enough to receive all three. Paulo Dybala opened the scoring on 16 minutes and a Baselli red card eight minutes later opened the floodgate. Further goals from Pjanic, Alex Sandro and Dybala ended the match as a contest and left Torino overwhelmed and undermanned.
As for Torino, Sinisa Mihajlovic will be hoping that this is a one-off result and will not derail the fantastic start his side has made to the season. Kept goalless for the first time all year in their first Serie A defeat of the season, Torino host newly promoted Hellas Verona at the Stadio Olympico next week where they will look to rebound in style.
That is all for today’s commentary of Juventus versus Torino. We hope you enjoyed it and see you soon.
