As expected, AC Milan continued with their improved form to make this their fourth consecutive Serie A victory and move into third in the Serie A, just one point off the co-leaders Udinese and Napoli. It must be said however that Siena did make a fight of it and held their more illustrious opponents for a great part of the match.
