There will be a minimum of five minutes added time. United's fans are already voting with their feet, though, with Old Trafford emptying rapidly.
90'
SAVE! Sanchez curls a free-kick towards the left-hand corner, but Lloris reacts quickly to jump to his right and make the stop.
89'
H. Winks enters the game and replaces H. Kane.
Kane’s race is run. It was his header that set Tottenham away early in the second half, before he then set up Moura for Tottenham’s third. Winks is on in the striker’s place.
88'
Tottenham have never fared well at Old Trafford, but this second-half display has been excellent. They are in complete control, and cruising to their third win in three games.
86'
Valencia curls in a cross from the right, and Fred had made a good run to get on the end of it, but the midfielder’s header is a poor one.
84'
Lucas Moura has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by H. Kane.
Pochettino’s bravery has paid off. He kept two up top, even though Moura was about to go off a few minutes ago, and Tottenham’s strike duo combined there brilliantly - Kane carving through United’s shambolic lines with a neat pass, and Moura doing the rest.
MOURA! THAT IS SPECTACULAR! His pace and skill has caused havoc all game, and now he has capped off a brilliant display with a superb second goal. Kane picks out his partner with a fine pass, and Moura proceeds to easily get the better of Smalling before slamming a powerful finish across De Gea. That is game over!
82'
B. Davies enters the game and replaces D. Rose.
And now it is clear why. Rose struggled with injuries all of last season, and the England international seems to have sustained a knock now. He will be replaced by Davies.
80'
Some confusion here! Moura was making his way to the touchline, with Tottenham readying a change, but at the last moment, Pochettino seems to have changed his mind.
79'
Lukaku does well to put Tottenham’s defence on the back foot before turning a cute pass back towards the edge of the box. Lingard meets it, but Dembele is on hand to deflect the shot onto the roof of Lloris’ net.
Minute
Description
78'
One or two pockets of space are opening up for United now, but Tottenham are holding firm. Shaw hammers in a low cross-cum-shot, which finds its way through a crowd, but Lukaku can’t get on the end of it.
77'
D. Rose gets yellow.
A booking for Rose, who nudged into Pogba to prevent United picking up some momentum down their right.
76'
S. Aurier enters the game and replaces K. Trippier.
There will be a change now for Tottenham, with Trippier struggling having sustained a knock. Aurier isn’t a bad replacement to have on the bench, though, and the former PSG man is now on.
75'
Alderweireld has been superb this evening, and Mourinho may well be left lamenting the fact that United never followed up their reported interest by meeting Tottenham’s asking price for the defender.
72'
No changes yet from Pochettino, who is still keeping Moura and Kane pushed high upfield in an attacking two, meaning that United can’t be too gung-ho in throwing everyone forward, or at least not just yet.
71'
Lukaku is dropping deeper, and wider, to try and get on the ball, and although he plays a nice, raking pass to Sanchez, it means that the Chile forward has no support when he brings it down, and Tottenham deal with the move easily enough.
67'
MISS! That should have been 3-0! Kane gets free from the resulting corner but, despite having a free header six yards out, cannot head home. Will they live to regret these missed chances?
66'
UNITED ESCAPE! That is awful from Lindelof! Just a moment after missing a good chance at the other end, the defender put it on a plate for Alli with a terrible back pass. Fortunately for United, De Gea reacted to put Alli off balance, and then make a fantastic save when the youngster finally gets his shot off.
65'
CLOSE! Fred delivers a fine cross to the back post, where Lindelof is waiting, but the former Benfica man can only send his header into the side netting.
64'
United are upping the pressure now, albeit they have little choice. Tottenham are defending well, though, retaining their shape and staying disciplined. At least, they do until Pogba draws a foul from Rose on the edge of the area, although it is to the right of the box.
62'
CHANCE! Lukaku manages to knock the ball into Lingard’s path but, just as the midfielder looked set to haul one back for the hosts, Alderweireld makes a fantastic intervention to divert the ball over.
61'
M. Fellaini enters the game and replaces N. Matić.
And, here is that third and final United substitution. Matic has lasted an hour on his return to action, and now Fellaini is on.
59'
Believe it or not, Mourinho is now readying a third change, as he turns to his favourite super sub, Fellaini.
58'
V. Lindelöf enters the game and replaces P. Jones.
A. Valencia gets yellow.
Valencia has picked up a booking.
Indeed, here is that second United change. It appears to be an enforced one, however, with Jones hobbling as he makes his way off. Lindelof will now partner Smalling at the back.
57'
You would imagine that Sanchez’s introduction will mean a change in shape, with United switching to a 4-3-3. Mourinho now looks to be prepping another change, though, with Lindelof going through the motions on the touchline.
55'
A. Sánchez enters the game and replaces Ander Herrera.
No time wasted from Mourinho, who makes his first change. Herrera is off, despite Mourinho seemingly wanting the midfielder to deliver a message to his team-mates before leaving the field, and Sanchez is on.
54'
United are all over the place at the moment, and Tottenham are threatening to run riot. Kane barges his way through midfield and tees up Alli, but the England man can’t force his way into the area.
52'
Lucas Moura has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by C. Eriksen.
Eriksen wasn’t afforded too much space in the first half, but once he had the room there, he made no mistake with a fantastic cross into Moura, who got the goal he deserved.
GOAL! MOURA MAKES IT TWO! Wonderful play from Tottenham, as Trippier sets Eriksen clear down the right. The former Ajax man picks his head up and delivers an exquisite cut-back, with Moura on the end of it to tuck home first-time.
51'
SAVE! Almost an immediate leveller for United! Lukaku races clear down the left and drives a low strike towards the right-hand corner, but Lloris makes the stop.
50'
H. Kane has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by K. Trippier.
WHAT A HEADER FROM KANE! That is a world class finish from Tottenham’s star man who, having ended his August hoodoo against Fulham, has struck again this time out. Trippier whipped in the corner, and his England team-mate - despite back peddling somewhat - plants a brilliant header back across goal and into the far corner.
It was a brilliant delivery from Trippier, but slightly behind Kane, who had so much to do to head in what was his first goal at Old Trafford.
49'
That’s a vital block from Smalling! United’s defender didn’t know too much about it, though, as he deflects Alli’s goal-bound effort wide.
48'
A tricky one for De Gea, who has to get down sharply to prevent Moura connecting with a low cross from Kane. Half chances at both ends already.
47'
WIDE! United, like they did in the first half, look to get on the front foot immediately, as the ball is worked to Pogba 25 yards out. The midfielder lines himself up before unleashing a low strike, but it was always curling away from goal.
46'
We're back underway at Old Trafford!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: MANCHESTER UNITED 0-0 TOTTENHAM.
45' +1
A sloppy pass from Lloris puts Tottenham under pressure, but United can’t capitalise, with Alderweireld dispossessing Fred and clearing the visitors’ lines.
44'
Alii does brilliantly to thread a neat pass through Herrera’s legs. Eriksen is running onto it, but can’t quite get there, and Moura does not react quickly enough to pick up the scraps.
42'
CHANCE! That’s a great block by Herrera who, having initially been caught under the ball, scampers across to deny Alli’s path to goal.
41'
Pogba is furious with Valencia, having been calling on his captain to come and offer some support while he tussled with Demeble. Ultimately, the France star has to roll the ball out of play to avoid Tottenham winning it back.
40'
Moura has spent much of this half pushed up high alongside Kane, and that is causing hassle for United’s defence. The former Paris Saint-Germain man does not look to be ready when a long ball drops to his feet in the box, but he manages to work it back to Eriksen, whose first-time strike is well held by De Gea.
36'
Lloris does well to beat out a hanging cross from a corner on the left. United seem to be crowding out Tottenham’s goalkeeper even more than is usual in any game, and Mourinho has perhaps identified a weakness in the visitors’ armour, there.
34'
CLOSE! Pogba stings Lloris’ hands with a low shot from range, but Tottenham’s goalkeeper palms it away. Valencia connects with the loose ball, though, sending a rasping cross into the six-yard box, and Vertonghen skews it over.
30'
Moments later, United are up the other end, with Fred curling a strike wide. The replays have shown, though, that Jones’ tackle on Moura was most certainly a foul, and Tottenham should have had a penalty.
29'
NO PENALTY! Have United just got fortunate? Moura made a wonderful run through United’s midfield, and eventually draws a clumsy-looking challenge from Jones. The winger is bundled over in the box, but Pawson - who was in a good position - is having none of it.
27'
Tottenham are yet to register a shot in this match, but United are not shying away from testing their visitors. Lukaku again meets a cross from Shaw, this time with his head, but the striker fails to direct his effort on target.
26'
CHANCE! Matic gets caught in possession and Alli quickly breaks into the area. He has Kane in support, but elects to go it alone, and a heavy touch enables Smalling to recover.
24'
H. Kane gets yellow.
Another card now, and it’s Kane who is cautioned. Pawson has already sent off Phil Jagielka and Isaac Hayden for similar challenges this season, but Kane escapes with just a booking after diving in on Valencia.
19'
Ander Herrera gets yellow.
CHANCE! Shaw makes a great run down the left and is duly picked out by Lingard. The full-back cuts a low cross into Lukaku, but his first-time effort is directed straight at Lloris. United are picking up some momentum!
Another booking, this time for a United player, with Herrera having lunged in on Moura, catching the winger on the follow through.
17'
A real lapse in concentration from Rose, who is now having a discussion with Pochettino. The visitors are extremely fortunate not to be a goal down.
16'
MISS! How did that not go in!? Dreadful play from Rose, whose awful pass leaves Lloris stranded. Lukaku takes advantage, rounding Tottenham’s goalkeeper but, with the goal gaping, he can’t turn a finish home from a tight angle. That should be 1-0 United!
14'
Eriksen is drifting inside from his role on the left, with Tottenham pressing high. The Denmark playmaker lofts a wonderful pass over United’s line, which Kane manages to get on the end of, but the striker can’t quite bring the ball under his spell.
12'
De Gea punts it long, and Lukaku does well to cushion the ball into Lingard’s path. The England international looks to prod it past Alderweireld, but Tottenham’s defender stands firm and makes an intervention.
10'
Lucas Moura gets yellow.
An early booking, and it goes the way of Tottenham’s Moura, who is cautioned for a high foot on Jones. Craig Pawson is tonight’s referee, and he has awarded red cards in both of his outings so far this season.
9'
Dier whips in a brilliant cross from the right flank, which United fail to deal with. Rose looks to latch onto the loose ball on the edge of the box, but can’t quite get there.
7'
United are pressing high, and some risky play from Lloris almost puts Dembele in trouble, but the Belgium midfielder manages to power his way out of trouble, and the visitors move up the pitch.
3'
This United formation is a bit different, to say the least! Herrera appears to be dropping into the right-hand side of a three-man defence, with Valencia pushed high up that flank. Pogba, Fred and Matic are in midfield, and Lingard is supporting Lukaku up top.
1'
KICK-OFF! We are up and running at Old Trafford.
CLOSE! Tottenham raced ahead inside 11 seconds in one of the league meetings between these two sides last season, and it was very nearly United’s turn this time around! A long ball from Valencia causes Tottenham’s defence some issues, and Fred capitalises by sending a low strike at goal, but it whistles into the side netting.
Hello! Welcome to LIVE coverage of today’s Premier League encounter between two top-four - and possibly title - contenders, as Manchester United welcome Tottenham to Old Trafford.
It has not been a good start to the season for Jose Mourinho. United edged out Leicester in their opening game, but the Red Devils were torrid against Brighton last time out, losing 3-2 at the AMEX Stadium, and the United coach has reacted by making a total of six changes this evening.
Off the pitch, Tottenham have had some troubles of their own, but on the field, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have got off to a flyer. They weren’t too convincing in a 2-1 win over Newcastle United, but certainly deserved the points in a 3-1 victory against Fulham last time out, and the visitors could go joint top with a triumph today.
TEAM NEWS - Manchester United (4-3-2-1): David De Gea; Antonio Valencia, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Luke Shaw; Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Fred; Jesse Lingard, Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba.
TEAM NEWS - Manchester United substitutes: Victor Lindelof, Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford, Lee Grant, Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini, Scott McTominay.
It's a big statement from Mourinho, who has gone for a much-changed starting XI following the horror show at Brighton. Eric Bailly was terrible against the Seagulls and drops out all together, as do Anthony Martial, Andreas Pereira and Juan Mata. Young and Lindelof are relegated to the bench, with Valencia, Matic, Lingard, Smalling, Jones and Herrera all coming in. Pogba, it seems, will play higher up the pitch.
TEAM NEWS - Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Hugo Lloris; Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose; Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele; Lucas Moura, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen; Harry Kane.
Two changes from Pochettino, who has reverted to a back four after using a 3-5-2 system against Fulham. Rose and Dembele are the players who come in, with Davies and Sanchez dropping out. The latter is perhaps a surprise, and it means that Alderweireld - long linked with a move to United - starts alongside Vertonghen. Captain Lloris was arrested for drink driving last week, but the World Cup-winning goalkeeper retains his place.
TEAM NEWS - Tottenham substitutes: Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks, Michel Vorm, Fernando Llorente, Serge Aurier, Ben Davies, Luke Amos.
Some late team news. Lamela appears to have sustained an injury in the warm up, and Luke Amos has taken his place on the bench for Tottenham. The teams are both making their ways out onto the pitch as I write, with kick-off just moments away!
It’s all square at the interval at Old Trafford, though United should have taken the lead when Lukaku rounded Lloris, only to drill wide of an open goal. Tottenham have played well, and should have had a penalty, although it took Pochettino’s side 40 minutes to register a shot at goal.
All in all, a fairly even first half, and both sides will need to be more ruthless in the final third if they are to claim the three points today.
It goes from bad to worse for United, and for Mourinho. Tottenham sparkled at both ends today, with Vertonghen and Alderweireld showing the Old Trafford faithful just what their side is missing in defence, while Kane and Moura tore the hosts to shreds at the other end.
It means that Tottenham rise to second, behind Liverpool, in the fledgling standings, with three wins from their three games.
Mourinho’s United, meanwhile, look in disarray. The manager made his way straight onto the pitch to console Shaw before making his way over to a section of the United support and applauding them. He stays there for some time, before eventually picking up a scarf that is lobbed onto the field and making his way down the tunnel.
Well, this is a result that will resonate around the Premier League, with Tottenham proving their top-four - and possibly title - credentials in style. That’s all for now! Until next time, goodbye!
