NEWCASTLE SCORE!!!! IT'S PEREZ!!!
Kenedy gets deep into the Huddersfield box, collects a cross in from the right, and passes it directly into the run of Ayoze Perez who tucks it home!

Kachunga has not recovered from the knock to his ankle and will now make way from Quaner.

The whistle blows and we're off at St. James' Park!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Newcastle United v Huddersfield Town!
Huddersfield (4-2-3-1): Lössl; Smith, Schindler, Zanka, Kongolo; Hogg, Mooy; van La Parra, Pritchard, Kachunga; Depoitre.
Huddersfield may feel confident heading into this one having beaten Newcastle twice in their last three matches, including the match at St. James Park last season.
On the other hand, Newcastle come into this match in decent form having lost just one of their last five matches.
The teams are coming out of the tunnel! Not long to kick off now!
Still 0-0 at half-time. Newcastle have definitely been the more dominant side, but Huddersfield have looked somewhat dangerous when they do actually move forward. Who will break the deadlock?!
If Huddersfield are to take the lead here they may need to bring on Steve Mounie. The striker leads the club in league goals scored with six.
Newcastle are already out on the pitch as the Huddersfield players slowly leak out of the tunnel. Not log to go until the second half now.
Huddersfield gave it a go, but Newcastle were the dominant force for about 80 minutes of this match.
The win is a big one for Newcastle as they now sit seven points above the relegation zone. They look certain of surviving this Premier League campaign as they are just five points off assured safety and have six matches left in which to earn them. Kenedy and Shelvey were fantastic today although Rafa Benitez will be disappointed in the performance of Matt Ritchie.
This loss for David Wagner's men has pulled them back into the relegation fight as they are dangerously near the relegation zone and have a worse goal difference than two of the sides below them. The defence is well organised and strong, but they will need to find goals from somewhere if they are to beat the drop.
That's it for our coverage today! Thanks for joining us!
