There will be a minimum of one minute of added time played here.
88'
CHANCE COLOGNE! Klunter picks the ball up just inside the Bayern penalty area and he tries to place his shot in the bottom right-hand corner, but Starke who has nothing to do tonight, makes a great diving save and then smothers the rebound as well. Arguably the best chance of the game for the visitors.
86'
Just a few minutes left on the clock here, can Bayern double their lead late on? Or, will Cologne be able to score a shock goal, they have started to press higher up the pitch and try and nick something in the dying moments.
84'
C. Clemens enters the game and replaces M. Lehmann.
Here is the final Cologne substitution of the game, with the skipper Matthias Lehmann heading off the pitch and he has been replaced by Christian Clemens.
83'
The atmosphere and noise has certainly dropped now, you can hear the players on the pitch which is a rare occurrence in the Allianz Arena.
81'
Not the best performance tonight by Bayern, certainly not one that will be remembered fondly by Bayern supporters. However, they look to have got the job done, another victory and they move a step closer to retaining their Bundesliga crown.
78'
The game is being played at a very slow pace at the moment, they could easily go up a few more gears this evening but are just cruising to victory here, against a resilient Cologne side who are highly likely to be relegated at the end of the season, given their current predicament.
76'
F. Kusić enters the game and replaces J. Horn.
J. Kimmich enters the game and replaces F. Ribéry.
Cologne make a change themselves as well, with Jannes-Kilian Horn the man heading off the pitch and he has been replaced by Filip Kusič.
Bayern make their third and final change of the evening, with Franck Ribéry heading off the pitch and he has been replaced by Joshua Kimmich.
74'
As Schalke are beating FC Augsburg tonight in one of the other Bundesliga games, it means that Bayern will move just nine points clear at the top of the table. Next up for the Champions is a trip to Stuttgart, before facing Borussia Dortmund at home next week.

Description

Bayern are continuing to press for a second goal this evening to well and truly wrap up the victory and three points here. Cologne seem to have recovered from conceding the goal and once again look strong at the back and are making it difficult for the hosts.
69'
STAT: Robert Lewandowski has now found the back of the net in all eight of Bayern’s Bundesliga home games this season.
66'
C. Führich enters the game and replaces T. Handwerker.
Cologne make their first substitution of the game, with Tim-Henry Handwerker the man coming off and he has been replaced by Chris Führich, who is making his first Bundesliga appearance.
OFF THE BAR! Bayern picked the ball up straight from the James chance, Coman whipped a cross into the box which was met by Alaba, his header was drilled into the ground and up above Horn, but it strikes the crossbar, then Lewandowski tries an acrobatic volley from a tight angle but Cologne get numbers back and managed to clear the ball.
65'
Decent chance for Bayern! James with a shot from the edge of the area forces Horn into making a good diving save. Bayern still have the ball and they are mounting another attack...
63'
Cologne will need to be careful now, they don't want to lose all of their composure and allow Bayern to exploit them more as they could score a few more tonight, especially now they have that breakthrough goal.
60'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by T. Müller.
Müller produced a wonderful soft header for his teammate, rather then trying to take it down himself, he flicked it perfectly into the path of Lewandowksi who was never going to miss from that distance.
GOOOAAALLL! BAYERN LEAD! They finally have the breakthrough, getting through the Cologne defence eventually. The Polish striker with the lethal finish after a terrific move. Boateng chipped a ball deep into the penalty area, it was flicked on by Muller who knew exactly were Lewandowksi was and he just had to side-foot it into the back of the net.
59'
Better football by Bayern after a free-kick into the penalty area by James, the first ball was just about cleared by Cologne. Bayern then played some good, quick passes and Lewandowksi picked the ball up on the edge of the area, turned and fired a powerful shot at goal but it goes high over the crossbar.
58'
The atmosphere remains superb here inside the Allianz Arena, with the Bayern supporters making a huge amount of noise behind the goal they are now attacking. Still plenty of time left on the clock get on the scoresheet tonight.
56'
STAT: Fifteen of the 31 goals Cologne have conceded this season have come from set-pieces - more than anyone else in the division.
54'
The game is much more open in this second half, more space in the middle of the pitch because Cologne are trying to go forward themselves, show endeavour and ambition this evening. However, this is allowing Bayern more opportunities to find a pocket of space which has been left by the defence.
51'
HE SHOULD'VE SCORED! Lewandowski with the best chance of the game and he really should've given Bayern the lead and he knows it. Muller whipped an excellent ball into the penalty area and the Polish striker met it superbly at the near post, but he gets too much on it and powers it over the crossbar from just a couple of yards out.
49'
The second half has started with Bayern on top once again, dominating possession and looking to open up the Cologne defence, but as we have already seen early in this second period, Cologne are happy to sit back and soak up the pressure before trying to break on the counter-attack.
47'
What a run by Klunter! The striker breaks forward on the counter with great pace, he easily beat Boateng who tries to make a last-ditch challenge but the Cologne evades the challenge. He then runs through on goal but Sule manages to track back and cut him off. Let off for Bayern.
46'
K. Coman enters the game and replaces A. Vidal.
J. Rodríguez enters the game and replaces C. Tolisso.
The second half is underway!
The second change is another attacking one, with Arturo Vidal replaced by Kingsley Coman.
Bayern have made a double substitution ahead of the second half, the first Corentin Tolisso is replaced by James Rodríguez.
45'
That's the half-time whistle!
43'
It's really tame from Bayern at the moment, they are lacking an invention here with a few aimless balls into the box, which is not going down well with the home supporters, with a few whistles being heard. However, a goal before the break would be huge and really break Cologne's resolve.
41'
STAT: This is the 22nd time Bayern will top the Bundesliga standings over Christmas. They have only failed to go on and win the Bundesliga on three occasions after winning the Herbstmeisterschaft.
38'
CHANCE BAYERN! Muller sneaks it at the far post and gets a toe to the lofted ball over the top, diverting it goalwards but the angle is just too tight and his effort strikes the side netting, with many of the home supporters thinking it had rippled the back of the net.
36'
Better from Bayern, they stepped up the pace a little bit and piled players into the final third, which leads to a cross from Alaba and it falls to Alex Vidal at the far post, he cuts back and tries to bend one into the top corner, but he gets it all wrong. Well wide in the end.
34'
We can start to hear a little unrest within the Bayern supporters here, they expected plenty of goals tonight and so far their side have struggled to carve open any chances and they appear to be short of ideas when they get into the final third.
32'
Stefan Ruthenbeck has lost his first two games as Cologne boss. No Billy Goats coach has ever started off with three consecutive defeats. As it stands, a draw would be a terrific result.
29'
Bayern need to pick up the pace of the game here, their passes are too slow and their isn't enough runs and openings being created so it is all pretty easy for Cologne to defence at the moment. They will be thrilled with how they have started this game.
27'
CHANCE COLOGNE! A very good opportunity for the visitors from a fast counter-attack. They broke quickly following a Bayern corner, Tim Handwerker with a good cross-field ball to Jolic, he cuts inside a drills a shot at goal, which swerves in the air but goals over the bar. It looks to have taken a deflection off Alaba but the referee didn't spot it and awards a goal-kick.
26'
STAT: Not since 1964 has the bottom club in the Bundesliga won away from home against the league leaders. The visitors have defended well so far tonight but haven't provided anything going forward themselves.
23'
CHANCE BAYERN! Lewandowski should've done much better with this opportunity. The ball came into the box from the left, Horn shouted at his defence to leave the ball and let it go out but Muller picked it up at the far post, he volleyed it into the path of Lewandowski who swivelled and fired a shot at goal, but it was straight at Horn who was able to make a comfortable save.
21'
Cologne with their first decent chance of the game, a shot on target which forces Tom Starke into making a save. Lukas Klünter picked the ball up from Milos Jojic, then ran at the Bayern defence but he didn't have many options and fired a shot at goal himself from a tight angle.
20'
It is continuous Bayern pressure here, but still no breakthrough as the Cologne defence sit deeper and deeper. The visitors now appear to have dropped into a back five, which is limiting the space Bayern have in the final third.
17'
STAT: Cologne have a battle on their hands to avoid the drop, as no top-flight team has ever survived after falling 12 points off safety.
15'
ANOTHER CHANCE! Niklas Süle with a superb chance from a corner, he rose highest in the box and powered a header at goal but he got too much on it and the attempt flies just inches over the crossbar, with Horn stood stranded, with no way of stopping that header.
13'
CHANCE BAYERN! Muller with the best opportunity of the game so far. Ribery with an excellent ball over the top of the defence to Muller who made an excellent unmarked run, the German striker picks the ball out of the air and then fires a low shot at goal from a tight angle, but Horn makes a terrific save to prevent the goal.
11'
David Alaba takes it, but his attempt at goal is blocked and goes out for a corner. The resulting corner leads to a chance for Robert Lewandowski, as he receives a short ball on the edge of the area, his shot is on target but it takes a big deflection and goes just wide.
10'
Jorge Meré produces a silly foul on Thomas Muller, giving Bayern a free-kick in a good position to have an effort at goal or whip a cross into the box.
8'
The atmosphere is terrific here inside the Allianz Arena, the Bayern supporters expecting a dominant performance and goals from their side. It looks only a matter of time before they break the deadlock here, they already have had 83% possession of the ball.
6'
The hosts are starting to find a few gaps in the Cologne defence already here, with Franck Ribery dirfting behind the backline and he almost gets on the end of a good lofted ball, completely unmarked but his touch takes the ball too far away from him and Timo Horn comes out and gathers the ball.
4'
Bayern are expected to dominate this game tonight and fire in a few goals. They are well on top early on here, dominating possession and they already have Cologne sitting deep inside their own half and constantly chasing the ball.
2'
If Bayern win tonight and Schalke fail to beat FC Augsberg then they will move an impressive 10 points ahead at the top of the table, which would make it theirs to lose already this season.

We're underway!
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Cologne at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern Munich confirmed their status atop the table for the Bundesliga’s winter break with a hard-fought 1-0 win away at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, to make it seven wins from eight league games under the returning Jupp Heynckes.
Bayern are heavy favourites to gain another three points when bottom-of-the-table Cologne visit the Allianz Arena this evening, who have a long list of absentees due to injury.
Cologne looked set for the perfect start under new boss Stefan Ruthenbeck, as they went 3-0 up within 30 minutes at home to Freiburg on Sunday. However, unbelievably they managed to throw it all away and ended up suffering a 4-3 defeat, so they are now 13 points off safety from relegation after picking up just three points so far this season.
To make matters worse for the visitors, their recent track record against the Bavarians is very poor, as the Billy Goats haven’t beat the reigning champions since 2011, losing seven and drawing one, plus five of those were defeats were by three goals or more.
There are endless amounts of talent in this Bayern side, the likes of Coman, Ribery and Muller to provide ample support for the always-dangerous Robert Lewandowski, who’s 14 goals in 15 appearances in the Bundesliga make him one of the most in-form strikers in Europe. Bayern’s striker has found the back of the net seven times over his last eight competitive outings, and after being rested against Frankfurt at the weekend, he will be eager to get back in the goals.
The teams are out here at the Allianz Arena and kick-off is just minutes away! Stay tuned for all of the match action.
HALF-TIME: BAYERN 0-0 COLOGNE
Not the result that everyone was expecting at the break here, with Bayern frustrated here by a resilient defensive performance by the visitors. Bayern have lacked pace and a clinical touch in the final third, which isn't pleasing the home supporters who are beginning to voice their discontent. Muller has had two of the best chances for Bayern, but has been denied by a couple of superb saves by Horn.
Bayern secure a hard-fought one-nil victory here tonight over bottom of the table FC Cologne. The visitors put in a terrific defensive performance, frustrating the Champions for large periods of the game but they were finally undone in the second-half by Lewandowski. Bayern not at their best but they got the job done and they extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga.
FULL-TIME: BAYERN 1-0 COLOGNE
That's all from us tonight folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
