Hello and welcome to live Premier League coverage of West Ham's trip to West Brom. The Baggies know that a victory will distance themselves from the relegation fight but have only won one in their last ten Premier League meetings against the Hammers. West Ham too will be looking for a positive display at the Hawthorns having lost six of their last eight Premier League outings. The pressure is really mounting on Sam Allardyce, with speculation circulating that the West Ham supporters are due to submit a petition for Big Sam's removal on Monday morning regardless of the result here.
I'm Grant Miles and I will be leading you through all the action as both teams will be desperate to secure all three points. Nicolas Anelka took centre stage the last time these two teams met with his Quenelle gesture but he definitely won't be featuring today. Pepe Mel has pinpointed this game as a must win game for West Brom. West Ham won't it easy though and Andy Carrolll will want to illustrate why he deserves a place in the England World Cup squad, today, with chances to do so running out.
TEAM NEWS: West Brom will have to make do without influential centre back Gareth McAuley after he limped off the pitch during Monday's defeat to Man City at The Etihad. Fellow defender Liam Ridgewell misses out too after picking up a knee injury in the same fixture, whilst Scott Sinclair is ineligible to play against his parent club. This leaves the door open for Saido Berahino to make a rare start for West Brom.
TEAM NEWS: West Ham will be without Matt Taylor after he was given compassionate leave to be with his ill daughter. Italian striker Marco Borriello still remains in the treatment room with a long standing calf injury, which will mean he is sidelined for the rest of the season. Guy Demel has recovered from a virus to take his place in the matchday squad. Pablo Armero is likely to make way.
West Ham starting line-up: Adrian, Demel, Tomkins, Reid, McCartney, Nolan, Noble, Diame, Jarvis, Downing, Carroll.
BREAKING: Saido Berahino starts for West Brom. Only last November he was several top pundits shoe-in for a suprise call up to Roy Hodgson's England World Cup squad in Brazil. He will be happy to get on the scoresheet today, to show his early season promise was no flash in the pan.
PEPE MELT: The West Brom boss has described this fixture as another "cup final". The Baggies are in serious danger of getting caught up in the relegation mire. They have an astonishing propensity to throw away points in the final minutes too.
ALLARDICI ALERT: It has been reported that Sullivan and Gold have demanded that Sam Allardyce plays a more attractive style of football. £30 million was spent in the summer and January on player accquisitions and the supporters expect more than just results.
WEST BROM 1-0 WEST HAM. Had a chance to breath yet? That first half flew by. There was plenty of crunching challenges, West Brom counter attacks, and sensational wing play. Berahino's fine finish separates the two teams at the break but it will be no suprise if this game is turned on it's head in the second half.
WEST BROM SECURE VICTORY. It is FULL TIME at The Hawthorns. The Baggies win 1-0 against West Ham. How precious this victory could prove to be in their fight for survival remains to be seen but this is a huge coup for Mel and his charges.
That is all we have got time for here at The Hawthorns. I have been Grant Miles and I look forward to seeing you all next time.
