Stoke corner! Everyone is piling forward. West Brom hearts are in their mouths...
Stephen Ireland delivers the corner and Robert Huth rises highest and meets it with full contact. But the effort is balooned over the bar. Mighty chance for the Potters, that would have been Pulis-esque.
90' +2
W. Palacios enters the game and replaces M. Arnautović.
A ball is whipped into the box from the right for West Brom but it evades all the Baggies forwards in the box. Looks like that might be that. West Brom fans will be contemplating that miss from Sessegnon still!
90' +1
MASSIVE CHANCE! WHAT A SAVE! Sessegnon dances through the Stoke backline and is one-on-one with Begovic, but he can't beat the inspired Stoke keeper from point-blank range. Sessegnon should have won it there!
90'
Now Stoke have the ball inside the West Brom half, but they don't seem to have the belief they are going to score.
88'
West Brom are huffing and puffing for the winning goal in these closing stages. Stoke are holding on. Moans and groans inside the Britannia Stadium as the hosts lose possession inside their own half.
85'
CLOSE! Mulumbu curls an effort from the edge of the box which sails agonisingly wide. What a finish to the match that would have been. The Baggies midfielder has had a fine game.
82'
CHANCE! Arnautovic is inches away from making contact on a cross from Ireland. The midfielder claims for a penalty but nothing is given. Close.
80'
M. Wilson enters the game and replaces C. Adam.
79'
They can't. Adam is hauled off by Mark Hughes, probably a wise decision. It's all West Brom now as we enter the final ten minutes of the game.
77'
Mulumbu and Morrison combine brilliantly before the latter earns a free kick deep in the oppositions area off Adam. He has made a few silly tackles this afternoon and hasn't yet be punished. Can the Baggies make him pay?

Description
75'
S. Long enters the game and replaces V. Anichebe.
74'
A. Wilkinson gets yellow.
Sessegnon hits a finely struck shot from the edge of the area, but it's hit straight down the throat of Begovic who does well to stop it and then hold on to it too.
72'
OUTRAGEOUS EFFORT! Charlie Adam spots Myhill off his line from inside his own half and whacks a shot at goal from all that distance. The Baggies goalkeeper back-peddles and manages to tip it over the bar. What a goal that would have been.
70'
Jones' cross from the right is clawed away by Begovic when West Brom looked to create a chance. Moments later, Ireland finds himself on the edge of the area, with space to shoot, but he tamely curls his effort into Myhill.
67'
Seems West Brom have been shocked into life by that chance for the hosts. They are showing more urgency off the ball now. The momentum in this match has shifted one way and then the other so often. Hard to predict what's to come next.
65'
GREAT CHANCE! It's Stoke's best moment of the match. Stephen Ireland is the guilty party. The ball is cut back for him inside the box and he really should have put the home side a goal up. Instead, he blasted his effort wastefully over. He knows it.
62'
J. Morrison enters the game and replaces M. Amalfitano.
N. Anelka enters the game and replaces S. Berahino.
Those changes have disrupted the rhythm of the game, what little rhythm it had. Lets hope the added firepower from both sides mean more goalmouth action!
59'
In an answer to Stoke's substitution, West Brom are readying Nicolas Anelka to join the action.
58'
K. Jones enters the game and replaces J. Walters.
Kenwyne Jones has come on for Jon Walters in the meantime, lets see if that can help Mark Hughes' side gain some impetus in proceedings. Very flat from them on the whole thus far.
56'
PENALTY SHOUT! Berahino goes down in the box after Charlie Adam treads on his heel! It looked a clear penalty from angle, the referee is having none of it though! Stoke get away with one!
53'
Mulumbu and Yacob combine to great effect to escape the pressing game of Stoke, giving Sessegnon the space to pick out Ridgewell, who's cross is easily caught. West Brom now showing signs of their form early in the first half.
50'
Almost a chance as Ireland plucks the ball excellently from the sky and sends a through ball in for Walters, but it's a touch too long. Agonising for Stoke.
48'
Now Asmir Begovic makes a great catch from a West Brom cross. The Bosnian goalkeeper is impeded though and Stoke have a chance to regroup.
47'
Bright start from the Potter to the second period. Assaidi bursts forward down the right flank and does well to dig out a cross. Myhill does well to make a good catch and prevent a chance.
46'
Stoke take the kick-off and we are underway for the second half.
45'
Stoke have a chance in the one additional minute at the end of the half from a free kick out on the right. Arnautovic's delivery is easily cleared before N'Zonzi shoots from the edge of the area, but his shot is tamely dragged wide.
44'
Arnautovic goes for an ambitious first-time volley on the edge of the area but skews it well wide. Moments later Anichebe earns a free kick off Huth to give the Baggies some respite when they were coming under pressure.
42'
Two of Stoke's best chances have come in the final few minutes of the half. West Brom need to be wary not to concede just before half-time. Looks like Hughes' men sense a chance though.
40'
CHANCE! Close for the home side. A very clever freekick from the training ground tricks the Baggies back-line but Ireland's low effort is well-saved. Easily the best chance for Stoke so far.
38'
Almost a chance for Stoke as deep corner from the right falls to the head of Wilkinson, but he heads it well over the bar. Decent oppurtunity for the big man.
36'
Some ironic cheers from the home crowd as Wilkinson gets a free-kick after a push by Jacob. The set-piece is played into the far post and Shawcross's effort is blocked for a corner
33'
No real action in the last few minutes. Stoke are failing to find any penetration in the final third. All of the chances have come, and gone, for West Brom.
30'
Great composure and skill from Pieters to bamboozle Anichebe and lose his man, playing Stoke out of a potential spot of bother. Stoke have taken some of West Brom's early momentum now.
27'
Referee Howard Webb is having a stern word with Nzonzi, who is close to getting a booking after a couple of late challenges. He's trying his best to disrupt the visitor's flow.
24'
GREAT SAVE AGAIN! It's fine passing and interchange from the Baggies before the ball eventually comes to Amalfitano, but before he can set himself for the shot, Begovic is off his line in a flash to smother the shot.
21'
Stoke have found their feet on the ball again but on reflection, West Brom should be ahead with their early chances. The Potters have weathered the storm and are growing into the game.
18'
GREAT SAVE! Begovic denies Sessegnon with a super save using his feet from point-blank range. Anichebe fed Sessegnon who jinked his way inside the box but just when you thought he would side foot it into the back of the net, Begovic reacted to make a fine stop.
15'
Shaky moment at the back for Begovic with Berahino closing down, but he does well to get it clear. Almost a blunder from the normally reliable shotstopper.
12'
Anichebe and Berahino are combining well up top for West Brom. The Baggies are beginning to pile some pressure on Stoke but as of yet the Potters' defence is holding strong. The hosts' look most threatening on the break, strangely enough.
9'
CHANCE! That aformentioned corner comes to nothing. Moments later though, Sessegnon smashes a volley at goal from Berahino's cross from deep on the left flank. He strikes it sweetly but it sails over the bar.
7'
Sessegnon shows great pace on the right to burst past two Stoke defenders into the box but the summer signing couldn't find a cross once he got to the byline. WEst Brom corner...
5'
Now the Baggies are enjoying a spell on the ball. Ryan Shawcross makes a couple of interceptions to disrupt West Brom's flow but the visitors are using the ball well now. Amalfitano, in particular, looks dangerous on the right.
3'
First chance falls to the hosts. Wilkinson's cross is cleared for a corner by Mulumbu after some neat work on the right-hand side by Arnautovic. The set-peice comes to nothing though. Stoke have started on top.
1'
Stoke City take the kick-off and we are underway!
Good afternoon ladies and gents! Welcome to play-by-play coverage of Stoke City v West Brom from the Britannia Stadium LIVE!
The headline news from the teams today; Wilkinson, Adam and Assaidi are in for Stoke, while Victor Anichebe replaces Anelka in the Baggies starting XI.
Extra attention will be on Saido Berahino this afternoon who is apparently wanted by Manchester City, according to reports in certain news outlets today. He scored the winner at Old Trafford last month and has bagged four goals for the Under-21s in three games.
The teams are emerging from the tunnel into a super atmosphere at the Britannia Stadium. Kick-off is only moments away...
HALF-TIME: Stoke City 0-0 West Brom
The sides go in level at the break then, thanks mainly to two fantastic stops from Asmir Begovic. He denied both Sessegnon and Amalfitano, when they looked like they'd score. The Potters grew into the game as it went on but Hughes will want a lot more from his charges in the second period.
Stoke are already out for the second half, Mark Hughes must have had some stern words. No sign of the West Brom team yet. The second half is moments away...
FULL-TIME: Stoke 0-0 West Brom
Asmir Begovic is the hero, in which case you could say Stephane Sessegnon is the villian. The West Brom man had to great chances in each half, the second one came deep into injury time. On both occasion, the Stoke goalkeeper came out on top. Stoke will be disappointed not have imposed themselves more in their own backyard. On the balance of the 90 minutes, a draw is probably a good result for the hosts considering the visitor's beter chances.
