Wednesday saw the end of the UEFA Women's Champions League's first-ever league phase, where the last two teams booked their places in the knockout rounds, while the top four were also confirmed. Here is one stat from each of the nine games.

7 - AS Roma ended their Women's Champions League campaign on a high, beating St. Polten 6-1 at home. Canadian attacker Evelyne Viens netted a hat-trick for the Giallorosse, who enjoyed their joint-largest win in the tournament's history. For St. Polten, the Austrians finish bottom of the inaugural league phase with one point, losing to an Italian team for the seventh time.

13 - In need of a mini-miracle to qualify directly for the quarter-finals, Bayern Munich did what they needed to do, topping Norway's Valerenga 3-0. That result, in combination with others elsewhere, allowed the German side to finish fourth and make the last eight. In doing so, they knocked their opponents out, since they required a victory to have any shot at advancing. Bayern conceded 13 times in the league phase, the second most of the 18 teams.

6 - Jessica Park got the only goal of the game in Turin as Manchester United prevailed 1-0 away to Juventus. Both teams finish in the top half of the standings, but will have to go through the knockout round playoffs in February. Both of Juve's defeats were by one-goal margins. On the other hand, United kept their sixth clean sheet in the UWCL this term, qualifiers included.

10 - Defending champions Arsenal enjoyed their largest victory of the competition this fall as they beat OH Leuven 3-0 in Belgium. Olivia Smith and Beth Mead got the goals in the first half for the Gunners, before an own goal after the break completed the scoring. Despite the loss, Leuven have qualified for the knockout stage in their first-ever season in Europe. The win was not enough for Arsenal to enter the top four, though they have extended their scoring streak to 10 games in Europe.

27 - There was no messing around from record winners OL Lyonnes, who got the better of 10-woman Atletico Madrid 4-0. Already down by a goal at the time, Atleti's task became even more challenging when Luany was sent off nine minutes before half-time. In the end, they moved on to the next stage, while Lyonnes clinched a quarter-final berth. The Ligue 1 Feminine side has scored 27 times versus Spanish teams across 10 matches.

1 - A goal in each half was enough for Barcelona to come away with a 2-0 defeat of Paris FC. The Spanish side continued their domination throughout the league phase by winning for the fifth time. Paris FC, who won their last two, finished the league phase in 10th spot. The Catalans earned top spot on goal difference as they conceded the fewest goals on their travels in the UWCL, letting in only one goal.

24 - Chelsea were made to work for their 2-1 victory on the road against Wolfsburg. Down a goal 15 minutes in, the Blues found their equaliser just before the break, before Sam Kerr scored the winner shortly after the hour mark. That was enough to see them take their spot, while Wolfsburg will have to settle for a place in the knockout round playoffs. Chelsea are on a 24-game unbeaten streak in the UWCL group phase (19-5-0), having lost just once across 30 matches all-time.

4 - The biggest shock of this season's Women's Champions League group phase came through Paris Saint-Germain. The two-time finalists were once again pegged back. This time, it was Benfica who took a point in the 1-1 draw. Jennifer Echegini's opener was cancelled out by a Carole Costa penalty later on in the first half. It left PSG without a win in Europe for the second straight season. In fact, this was just the fourth time across 13 appearances where PSG failed to reach at least the QF.

18 - Twente will likely look back at their UWCL campaign with regret. For the third time, they were unable to hold onto a lead. On this occasion, they conceded a 96th-minute leveller by Real Madrid, who claimed a 1-1 draw in the Netherlands. The Dutch side went winless this fall, while Real missed out on the top four with the disappointing result. The Spaniards had 18 shots in the match.
