Danish international Michala Moller will leave Team Esbjerg to continue her career at Hungarian outfit Ferencváros TC, where she will once again team up with Jesper Jensen, her former coach at Team Esbjerg and the Danish international team.

"I am very excited to join FTC in the summer of 2026, and to wear the Ferencvaros jersey from next season, says Michala Moller to the club webiste.

"The club has a strong identity and great ambitions, but the passionate fan culture also suits me very well, these are what convinced me to make the transfer. When I think about these, I can't wait to meet my new teammates, to continue developing and giving my all for the club and the fans."

Team Esbjerg aren't happy about having to say goodbye to the 25-year old Moller from the next season.

"We have been in talks with Michala about a possible extension to the contract, but she wanted to further develop her great handball talent in another club, and we fully understand that", says the chairman of the board of Team Esbjerg, Bjarne Pedersen.

Michala Moller, who has played 60 international matches, has helped Esbjerg win two championships, four cup titles and two Champions League bronze medals, among other things.
