A. Milik has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by F. Chiesa.
MILIK MAKES IT THREE! 3-0! Chiesa’s overlapping run is seen by Di Maria, who lays it off to the forward on the edge of the penalty area. Bursting towards the byline, the Italy international cuts it back for Milik, whose simple first-time finish beats Provedel!
Chiesa makes his mark on the match, assisting Milik's goal 25 minutes after coming on!

Pedro flashes a dangerous cross across the face of goal but Cancellieri fails to attack the delivery, allowing it to roll behind the far touchline for a Juventus throw-in.
85'
L. Paredes enters the game and replaces M. Locatelli.
Allegri adds Paredes into the mix hoping the Argentina international will aid in keeping possession of the ball. Locatelli makes way.
84'
Juventus are finding the open man with ease, as a disjointed Lazio press is affording the defenders time and space to get the ball to the free player. They are proving effective at winding the clock down for what is looking to be their sixth-consecutive Serie A clean sheet.
82'
The raft of substitutions have produced a stop-start second half, which is a perfect situation for the hosts. Lazio have been unable to get settled long enough to try and put together a cohesive move to halve the deficit.
78'
Marcos Antônio enters the game and replaces S. Milinković-Savić.
Milinkovic-Savic makes way for Antonio, with Lazio changing around their midfield.
Minute
Description
77'
With the hard work finished, Juventus will not open up needlessly and allow space at the back. Keeping the ball in defence, the back three are cycling possession and waiting for the opponents to approach, before play the simple ball out to the wing.
75'
Di Maria’s outswinging corner is met by Romagnoli, who clears his lines effectively - forcing Juventus back into their own half.
73'
Locatelli slides in recklessly and catches the ankle of Milinkovic-Savic, leaving the Serbia international down on the pitch. He’ll need a bit of treatment but he should be okay to continue with just over a quarter-hour remaining.
69'
M. Cancellieri enters the game and replaces L. Romero.
Mario Gila enters the game and replaces E. Hysaj.
A swap on the wing sees Cancellieri come on for Romero.
Fuentes replaces Hysaj at full-back.
68'
Sarri looks to have activated more movement on the bench, with two players preparing themselves to come on. Still searching for a way back into the match in their last fixture of 2022, the coach will have to make an impact from the touchline.
66'
A Lazio attack comes to an end disappointingly, with Milinkovic-Savic failing to round Chiesa on the right wing, with Danilo coming across to shield the ball behind for a goal-kick.
64'
F. Chiesa enters the game and replaces F. Kostić.
Chiesa comes in for Kostic, who has had another impressive showing.
62'
Á. Di María enters the game and replaces M. Kean.
Kean won’t get a chance at the hat-trick, as he’s brought off two minutes after the hour for Di Maria.
59'
Alberto is sent on to pose an additional threat to the Juventus backline, with Basic making way.
58'
Luis Alberto enters the game and replaces T. Bašić.
M. Vecino enters the game and replaces D. Cataldi.
Sarri begins to make changes just shy of the hour, with Vecino replacing Cataldi.
56'
Anderson dribbles into the penalty area but three covering defenders converge on the winger and squeeze him out of possession, winning the ball back before earning a free-kick of their own higher up the pitch.
54'
M. Kean has scored a goal for Juventus!
IT’S A DOUBLE FOR KEAN! 2-0! Again Juventus are aggressive in midfield to win the ball back, before Rabiot sprays a lovely pass out to the left wing for Kostic. He receives the switch with a deft touch and gets into the penalty area, forcing Provedel into a diving save. Kean is first on the scene and tucks the rebound home neatly!
52'
Szczesny bravely steps off his line to meet Hysaj’s corner hit in search of Milinkovic-Savic, rising above the midfielder to punch it away emphatically.
48'
Milik fires a shot from the left side of the penalty area between Marusic and Romagnoli but Provedel is ready for the test, getting down low to parry the shot into a safe area.
46'
Juventus get the match restarted from the kick-off!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 1-0 LAZIO.
45'
The fourth official indicates one minute will be added to the end of the half for stoppages.
43'
M. Kean has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by A. Rabiot.
KEAN LIFTS THE BALL INTO AN EMPTY NET! 1-0 JUVENTUS! It’s a gift for the hosts, who take the lead with two minutes left in the half after Provedel’s questionable decision to rush out of his area. Rabiot wins the ball back from Milinkovic-Savic and immediately hoists it forward for Kean, who gets on the end of the pass ahead of the oncoming goalkeeper and meets it with a deft volleyed lob to open the scoring!
Full credit to Rabiot, who wins the ball back before sparking the move, earning the France international an assist!
41'
Casale gets on the end of Anderson's corner but he steers his header wide of the post.
38'
Danilo is caught in possession 18 yards from his own goal but the telling poke from Milinkovic-Savic takes the ball safely back to Szczesny.
36'
Cuadrado gets up slowly holding the back of his neck after receiving a clattering from Marusic during a duel for an aerial ball near the technical area. The Bianconeri are allowed to restart from a throw-in, though the Colombian international remains determined to receive a free-kick.
34'
Romero looks to take on both Danilo and Fagioli on the right edge of the penalty area but his trick fails to come off as he knocks the ball past the pair but doesn’t give himself enough room ahead of the goalkeeper, who claims it easily.
32'
Kostic wins the ball back from Hysaj high up the pitch and fires a cross into the area looking for Kean but Casale bests him physically and ends the move.
30'
Cuadrado steadies himself and plays an inviting cross into the penalty area but none of his team-mates react, allowing Romagnoli to start another attack from a clearance at the back.
28'
S. Milinković-Savić gets yellow.
The free-kick is taken low into the penalty area but immediately cleared away by the Juventus defence. Looking to prevent a counter-attack, Milinkovic-Savic steps across Gatti and brings him down, earning the midfielder a yellow card.
27'
Bremer gets yellow.
Almost immediately after Lazio take the free-kick short and move forward, Bremer is shown a yellow card for a two-handed push in the back of Pedro. The visitors are now given a free-kick just outside the penalty area on the left wing.
25'
F. Gatti gets yellow.
Gatti picks up the first yellow card of the match for sliding through Anderson, giving Lazio a free-kick in midfield.
24'
Danilo again looks to catch Lazio’s defence cold with a long pass down the pitch for Cuadrado but his delivery isn’t quite as accurate this time as Provedel comes out to meet the ball inside his area.
23'
Marusic cuts inside on a promising attack but he waits too long to pass after being caught in two minds and stretches too far ahead, clearing out Fagioli. The midfielder takes a second on the ground before bouncing back up to restart play from a free-kick.
21'
Milinkovic-Savic attempts to keep possession in midfield but his first touch takes him away from the ball, inviting Milik to stop his opponent. The striker puts in a clumsy and awkward tackle in front of the referee, escaping a card but giving away a free-kick near the centre-circle.
19'
Milik is offside as he runs onto a long pass hit from deep in his own half but that doesn’t stop him from corralling the ball down with a fantastic over-the-shoulder touch and whacking a dangerous left-footed effort that whistles inches wide of Provedel’s net. It wouldn’t have counted but it’s quite the display of skill from the Poland international.
17'
Looking to hit on the counter-attack, Juventus are letting their opponents have the ball in long spells. Allegri has organised his side in an effective shape - one that makes them the best defence in Italy - focused largely on frustrating the other side.
15'
Milinkovic-Savic drifts out to the right wing and flashes a cross into the near post, where it’s met rather comfortably by Szczesny.
14'
Lazio are very patient in their build-up, moving it from right to left in order to find the space ahead of Juve’s compact 18-yard box. Milinkovic-Savic is the key man in every move, looking for an opportunity to sprint a forward loose from a deeper position.
10'
Locatelli replicates Cuadrado with an effective switch of play out to the left for Kostic but again the wing-back’s execution is lacking, with his volleyed cross towards the penalty spot easily repelled.
8'
Milinkovic-Savic plays a beautifully disguised pass through the lines and into the penalty area for Romero, only for an alert Szczesny to get to the ball ahead of the winger at the top of his box.
6'
Kean drives into the penalty area and executes a couple of stepovers ahead of Casale but the striker drags his shot wide, failing to test Provedel.
5'
Juventus and Lazio are the two stingiest defenses in Serie A, with the Biancoceleste allowing one more than Juve’s tally of seven conceded. It’ll be a difficult affair for the two attacking units - especially without Ciro Immobile and Dusan Vlahovic.
3'
Cuadrado sends a perfect crossfield pass to the left for Kostic but the Serbia international gets his delivery into the penalty area wrong, sending it directly over the crossbar.

Lazio get the match underway from the kick-off!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE commentary of the Serie A fixture between Juventus and Lazio!
Lazio have found success through defensive resilience as well, winning the derby over Roma and beating Monza by 1-0 each in the past week. Third in the table after Milan’s win earlier today, Maurizio Sarri’s side can finish the calendar year joint-second by beating Juventus in the league for the first time since 2019; when the current Biancoceleste coach was in charge in Turin.
Max Allegri has put together five domestic wins in a row since losing to Milan in early October, keeping a clean sheet in each of those victories. Juventus followed up their 2-0 Derby D’Italia success last weekend with all three points against Verona on Thursday, which puts them just two points outside the Champions League places with the World Cup break looming.
JUVENTUS XI (3-5-2): Wojciech Szczesny; Danilo, Frederico Gatti, Bremer; Filip Kostic, Adrien Rabiot, Manuel Locatelli, Nicolo Fagioli, Juan Cuadrado; Arkadiusz Milik, Moise Kean.
With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, let’s take a look at how the two sides are lining up - starting with our hosts!
LAZIO SUBS: Dimitrije Kamenovic, Stefan Radu, Gila Fuentes, Matteo Cancellieri, Luis Alberto, Marco Bertini, Matias Vecino, Marius Adamonis, Luis Maximiano, Marcos Antonio.
LAZIO XI (4-3-3): Ivan Provedel; Adam Marusic, Nicolo Casale, Alessio Romagnoli, Elseid Hysaj; Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Danilo Cataldi, Toma Basic; Luka Romero, Felipe Anderson, Pedro.
Allegri will be delighted with the lead at the half, knowing his side have frustrated their opponents at every opportunity. Chiesa and Di Maria could receive run-outs with the former still coming back to fitness and the latter preparing for a World Cup but there’s little doubt Bonucci will come on to replace one of the two booked centre-backs, should the hosts maintain the lead. Despite the absence of Immobile, Sarri still has a number of options to call upon to earn a result, with Alberto and Cancellieri able to affect the match via goals and assists.
That concludes our commentary of the Serie A fixture between Juventus and Lazio! We hope you’ve enjoyed it!
Juventus get their season back underway on January 4, when they travel to play Cremonese. Lazio will be in action on the same day away at Lecce.
