Roma fell short of the Champions League places in Serie A, placing in fifth in the table despite their impressive end to the campaign. I Lupi won seven out of their last eight matches, including a victory away to Juventus on the final day of the campaign. Paulo Fonseca will be determined to qualify for the Champions League through the Europa League. Therefore his side have to be at their best tonight.
Sevilla are officially the home side this evening, although the contest is being played in Germany. The tie has been cut down to one leg, with the winner advancing to the quarter-finals. It has been three weeks since Sevilla's last game when they defeated Valencia on the final day of the LaLiga campaign. Julen Lopetegui's men finished fourth in the table and have already qualified for the Champions League, but will want to add another Europa League crown to their collection of five titles.
