89'
City play out from the back after defending a rare Brighton attack, but Lamptey is still returning from behind the defensive line and tries to nick the ball off Laporte. He's overzealous in his efforts, however, and hauls the centre-half down, conceding a free-kick.
83'

Bissouma picks up the first yellow card of the game for a frustrated barge on Fernandinho.
81'
R. Sterling has scored a goal for Manchester City!
GOAL!!! STERLING GETS HIS HAT-TRICK IN BIZARRE FASHION!! David Silva lofts a lovely ball forward and Sterling tries to flick it over the head of Dunk. The Brighton captain gets his head on it first and tries to play it back to his keeper, but there's confusion in the Seagulls defence as Ryan comes charging out and Sterling goes to ground, managing to nod the ball goalwards past the Australian on his way down. Burn tries desperately to clear it off the line, but he can only ping it in off the base of the post! It's now 5-0 to City!

City are working the ball around smoothly. They've really clicked today. There's less urgency in their game now - understandably - but Brighton seem to have given up hope and aren't getting near them.
72'
Fernandinho enters the game and replaces Rodri.
J. Stones enters the game and replaces Eric García.
Fernandinho also comes on to replace Rodri. It's a rare chance for the Brazilian to play in his preferred defensive midfield role, having spent much of the season at centre-back to cover for injuries.
The game suffers further disruption as Guardiola makes a double-switch. Stones replaces Garcia alongside Laporte at the heart of the defence.
70'
A. Jahanbakhsh enters the game and replaces L. Trossard.
Jahanbakhsh takes to the field in place of Trossard, who came close to levelling the scores in the first half.

Bernardo Silva has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by Gabriel Jesus.
GOAL!!! SILVA MAKES IT FOUR!! The Portuguese's first effort was saved by Ryan and Jesus couldn't latch onto the rebound as Dunk dived to intervene. 14'
After a fast start, City's tempo has ebbed ever so slightly as they work the ball around in search of openings.

Manchester City will be looking to continue building momentum from their 5-0 win over Newcastle United last time out against a Brighton side looking to get over the line and mathematically avoid relegation.
City have created chances with ruthless efficiency and Jesus' movement up front has been key to that, but the Brazilian has also been guilty of wasting a couple of opportunities. However, he will undoubtedly continue to get chances as City dismantle Brighton's defence with ease and regularity. Potter needs to change something soon, or his side could be on the end of a very unflattering scoreline.
Brighton visit Southampton next, while City host Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.
Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game! Until next time, goodbye!
