A speculative effort comes from Ruben Neves from around 25 yars from the Brighton goal. Lewis Dunk heads the ball away after Moutinho's long ball for Jimenez, it bounces into the path of the midfielder, who strikes the ball on the volley. His chance goes well wide, but reminds the Brighton defenders of the danger of Neves' long range efforts.
9'

7'
Both teams have started pretty well, with the majority of play being held directly in the middle of the pitch. Wolves and Brighton look to counter-attack one and another, but both defences look resolute at the back!
5'
First chance for Wolves also arrives shortly after Brighton's opportunity. A through-ball which arrived at the path of Jota, was hit first time by the winger. His shot certainly had some pace, but was of no real worry for Ryan in the Brighton goal. It's been a lively start at the Amex!
