Midfielder Hourihane comes off for a forward in Hogan as McCarthy hopes to salvage a draw.

Minute
Description
71'
WIDE! Schone lines one up from a considerable distance and it swerves horribly wide of the target. Frustration is setting in for the Danes.
68'
Stryger Larsen fouls Hendrick and then kicks the ball at him while he's on the deck. Hendrick goes to square up to him but Coleman gets there first and has him by the collar. The melee is diffused, however, and no cards are dished out.
66'
A. Judge enters the game and replaces R. Brady.
Brady isn't happy about being substituted, and Coleman exchanges stern words with him before the Burnley wide-man trudges off, with Judge replacing him.
65'
K. Dolberg enters the game and replaces M. Braithwaite.
Braithwaite is hooked and replaced with central striker Dolberg, who will support Jorgensen.
64'
McGoldrick inadvertently takes a touch that opens him up to feed Coleman, which he duly does, playing the ball through the gap and in behind. However, the right-back is caught fractionally offside.
60'
Eriksen then hits a very tame effort that rolls through for Randolph to smother. He didn't connect with that well at all.
54'
SAVE! McClean finds some space on the left and lets one fly but he slips as he strikes it. He still generates plenty of power, but it's at a nice height at the near post for Schmeichel to beat away.
52'
BLOCK! Jorgensen turns and fires a speculative effort that is blocked away in the box. There wasn't a great deal else on.
51'
McGoldrick ends up on the wrong side of a very tight offside call once again. The striker's frustration is evident.
49'
Braithwaite works hard to put Randolph under pressure as he takes dwells on the ball, but in his attempt to win the ball he bundles the goalkeeper over and gives away a foul.
46'
We're back underway for the second half!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: DENMARK 0-0 REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
45'
Braithwaite skips away from his man after good build-up from the back to find him and he surges into the box on the left, but his effort is blocked away well.
43'
Denmark earn a corner and it's swung in dangerously, but Ireland repel the threat confidently. Both sides are strong in the air.
41'
McGoldrick is not pleased at being flagged for offside following McClean's ball over the top. Replays show that he was, albeit very marginally, in an offside position.
39'
Neither side has been able to fashion an opening in the last few minutes, with play getting bogged down in midfield.
37'
Ireland have stemmed the tide following a period of real dominance from Denmark. The hosts may feel they should have scored while they had their opponents rattled.
35'
OVER! Poulsen receives the ball in a central area, turns and drives at goal. As he gets towards the edge of the box, he takes a shot on from distance, but it's always rising and goes over the bar. Hareide is less than impressed with the decision.
33'
Another dangerous-looking Denmark attack breaks down as Jorgensen dwells on the ball a fraction too long and allows Ireland to get back. There was some neat interplay in the build-up, but the final ball is collected by Randolph.
31'
The free-kick is wasted, however, and it's a simple take for Randolph. Eriksen overcooked the pass slightly.
30'
C. Hourihane gets yellow.
Hourihane hacks Eriksen down from behind and picks up a well-deserved yellow card. Very poor challenge.
28'
After some clever work by Poulsen that draws a foul, the referee plays advantage and Eriksen glides towards goal and shifts the ball inside onto his right foot in a central position. It takes a little nick from a defender as he reaches the edge of the box, however, and the opening is gone. Whelan, who was involved in the collision with Poulsen, has stayed down.
23'
CHANCE! Following the free-kick, Eriksen has the ball on the right and puts an accurate cross into Christensen in the box, His poked effort finds Poulsen, whose effort is deflected wide for a corner!
22'
Stevens is lucky to escape a booking as he hacks Poulsen down on the flank. It's high on the flank and is a dangerous position for the set-piece.
18'
Stevens receives the ball under pressure but deals with it really well, exchanging a one-two and pinging an excellent ball over the top for McGoldrick to chase, but the striker is a fraction offside.
16'
BLOCK! McGoldrick hits a ferocious shot into a huddle of red shirts and it comes back out to him. He then swipes at it with his left but he slices it and Denmark smother the chance well.
15'
A misjudgement from Duffy nearly allows Poulsen to latch onto a loose ball and race clear on goal, but his centre-back partner Keogh is there to pick up the pieces.
9'
Denmark still in charge at the moment, swinging plenty of crosses into the middle. Ireland are coping well so far, however.
7'
Denmark have upped the tempo now and are producing some sharp movement in the attacking third. Ireland have plenty back to deal with the threat.
5'
An Irish corner is replled well and Denmark get real distance on the clearance. Strong defensive play from the hosts.
3'
There's plenty of bite in the early stages as both teams get stuck into each other. Both sides have physically imposing players.

That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until next time, goodbye!
Denmark host Georgia next on Monday, while the Republic of Ireland face a visit from Gibraltar.
