90' +4
K. Zohorè gets yellow.
Zohore, like Bamba before him, is shown yellow for his celebration
90' +3
K. Zohorè has scored a goal for Cardiff City! Assist by Camarasa.
GOOALLLLLLL!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! Cardiff re-take the lead with just a minute left! Arter lofted the ball forward to Camarasa who shielded his defender and laid it off to an unmarked Zohore who lashed at the ball with no backlift but it found the back of the net! What a goal to score for your first of the season! Southampton 1-2 Cardiff.
We mentioned Camarasa's creativity when he came on, and he showed it there! He controlled the incoming ball well and laid it off perfectly to Zohore who scored the winner!
90' +1
J. Stephens has scored a goal for Southampton! Assist by C. Austin.
Austin rose high and seemed to have scuffed the header but it falls perfectly for Stephens who finishes from close range!
GOOALLLL!!! STEPHENS EQUALISES! A brilliant run from Redmond forced a corner which, when taken, took a slight glance off Austin's forehead before Stephens seemingly came from nowhere at the back post and tucked it into the net with his right foot! Southampton 1-1 Cardiff.

There will be five minutes of added time.
89'
N. Redmond gets yellow.
Redmond picks up a yellow card for dissent and gives a derisory thumbs up to the linesman.

Minute
Description
83'
Camarasa enters the game and replaces O. Niasse.
S. Gallagher enters the game and replaces Y. Valery.
Valery wasn't able to shake his knock after all and is withdrawn for Sam Gallagher.
Niasse makes way for Camarasa who, it should be noted, leads Cardiff in both chances created and accurate crosses this season.
82'
Bacuna fouls Elyounoussi and it will be another free-kick for the hosts.
73'
Bacuna takes an attempt from range and McCarthy can only put it wide for a corner. Can Cardiff make it two goals from two corners?
72'
C. Austin enters the game and replaces S. Long.
M. Elyounoussi enters the game and replaces J. Vestergaard.
Looks like there will be a formational change as centreback Vestergaard is withdrawn for Elyounoussi, a winger.
Charlie Austin comes onto the pitch with Long the player departing.
70'
S. Bamba gets yellow.
Bamba picks up a yellow for celebration and he will have to be careful in the final stages now.
69'
S. Bamba has scored a goal for Cardiff City! Assist by C. Paterson.
Cardiff win their first corner of the match as Valery plays the ball behind for safety.
Paterson had already flicked on a couple of headers earlier in the match and it finally comes off! He rose above his defender and directed the ball directly into the path of Bamba who finished the chance well!
GOOOALLLLL!!!! It's Bamba! The corner found Paterson who headed it down to Bamba on the run and the defender struck it with his right foot and left McCarthy grasping at air. What an important goal that could be! As things stand, Cardiff are out of the relegation zone! Southampton 0-1 Cardiff.
68'
Nine men back for Cardiff now as Southampton turn up the pressure.
64'
Long is taken down on the counter and advantage is played, though nothing comes of it.
62'
K. Zohorè enters the game and replaces B. De Cordova-Reid.
L. Bacuna enters the game and replaces A. Gunnarsson.
Leandro Bacuna replaces the recently carded Gunnarsson
Reid will surely be disappointed here as he's taken off in favour of Zohore who has yet to score a goal this season.
61'
A. Gunnarsson gets yellow.
Gunnarsson leaves his foot in late on Stephens and is shown yellow for his efforts.
60'
It looks as though Cardiff's hero last week, Bobby Reid, is set to be replaced.
59'
Long is picked out in the box and he lays it back to Hojbjerg on the run, but the latter chooses to try and dribble around a defender rather than just hitting it first time, and the chance goes.
58'
Curse of the commentator a bit there as Cardiff now attack up the right before the ball is put out of play by the hosts. Gunnarsson picks the ball up for another long throw.
57'
Hojbjerg opts to take on two defenders despite having Bertrand free on the overlap. Predictably, it didn't work out for the Danish midfielder.
56'
Southampton are really starting to take control of the midfield with it having been sometime since Cardiff last had the ball.
55'
Long lines up a shot from range, but he does so poorly as it skews well wide of goal.
52'
More fouls, this time it's Long who has been impeded by Ralls.
51'
Hojbjerg takes a speculative right-footed shot from outside the box that does force a save from Etheridge, though it wasn't a particularly challenging one.
47'
The hosts get an early corner here. Ward-Prowse takes and Paterson clears before it can reach any Southampton players.
46'
Martin Atkinson's whistle sounds again and the match is back underway!
45' +1
J. Ward-Prowse gets yellow.
Ward-Prowse pulls back Niasse on the touchline, and the Southampton man is shown the first yellow card of the match.
HALF-TIME: Southampton 0-0 Cardiff City
45'
There will be one minute of added time.
42'
Redmond picks up the ball in the box and tries to cross it in to Vestergaard who had made a lung-busting run, but Bamba beats him to it and heads it back safely to Etheridge. It feels as though Southampton are getting closer to a goal now.
37'
A ball is played forward to Ward-Prowse who just can't manage to catch up to it and it will be a throw-in to Cardiff.
35'
It looked as though Etheridge handled the ball outside the box, but the replay shows that he actually dropped it just before crossing the line and kicking it away. That was close!
33'
Arter tries to play Reid long only for Vestergaard to sniff it out and hit it out for a throw-in.
29'
Another long throw into the box from Gunnarsson but it's picked off by Southampton who quickly launch a counter-attack.
26'
Reid dribbles into the box and half-heartedly goes down under pressure and the referee waves play on.
23'
Etheridge attempts a clearance that falls straight to Shane Long, but the forward can't do anything with it and Cardiff push the ball up the pitch.
21'
Reid tries to take a quick free-kick after a foul by Vestergaard but it's called back by Atkinson and Cardiff will have to take it again.
19'
Vestergaard continues to view himself as a creator as he sits on the ball, dribbles into the opposing half, does a half-turn, and then passes it upfield.
17'
Long tries to play in Redmond with a delightful through-ball that was matched by an even better sliding effort by Bamba to prevent the chance from developing!
15'
Hojbjerg is found with a lobbed ball into the box! He's under pressure so turns and lays it into the path of no one... what was he thinking there?
13'
Bednarek plays things safe at the back and puts the ball out for a throw-in. Can Gunnarsson make this one count?
11'
Valery pulls off some tricks on the right before playing Redmond down the wing. After a quick shift in play to the left Bertrand whips the ball into the box and a Southampton player took a stab at it, but it's deflected behind for a corner. It was a flowing move that probably deserved a goal!
9'
Vestergaard goes ona bit of an adventure, dribbling through midfield and then charging down the left wing before passing centrally and retreating back to his duties in defence.
7'
Gunnarsson tries a long throw into the box and found Paterson who tried to flick it onto Reid, but McCarthy got there just in time and plucked it out of the air. That would've been quite the start from Cardiff!
6'
A bit stop start thus far as Gunnarsson and Ward-Prowse have both committed fouls in the last minute.
4'
Valery stops an attempted counter-attack from Cardiff, but is deemed to have fouled Niasse. The visitors will have a free-kick in their own half.
2'
After establishing a bit of early possession, Valery tries to play a one-two with Redmond but the ball rolls out of play and the latter shows a bit of frustration.
1'
Referee Martin Atkinson blows his whistle and we’re underway at St. Mary’s Stadium!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this Premier League match between Southampton and Cardiff City!
The hosts will surely be feeling confident today as they have lost just one of their last 14 home matches against Cardiff, winning 10 of them.
Obviously though, the storylines surrounding Cardiff lately have very little to do with what has been happening on the pitch with attentions drawn to the tragic loss of Emiliano Sala. As you may know, it was suspected that his plane had gone down crossing the English Channel in January and this week, after an extensive search, his body was indeed found in the plane wreckage. In response his previous club Nantes have announced that they will retire the #9 jersey in honour of Sala and, as for Cardiff, there will be a moment of silence before this match.
Now let's look at the team news for today's match.
Southampton (3-5-2): Alex McCarthy; Jack Stephens, Jannik Vestergaard, Jan Bednarek; Yan Valery, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oriol Romeu, James Ward-Prowse, Ryan Bertrand; Nathan Redmond, Shane Long.
Southampton substitutes: Angus Gunn, Mohammed Elyounoussi, Callum Slattery, Charlie Austin, Matt Targett, Sam Gallagher, Maya Yoshida.
Cardiff (4-1-4-1): Neil Etheridge; Lee Peltier, Bruno Ecuele Manga, Sol Bamba, Joe Bennett; Aron Gunnarsson; Callum Paterson, Harry Arter, Joe Ralls, Bobby Reid; Oumar Niasse.
Cardiff substitutes: Josh Murphy, Víctor Camarasa, Kenneth Zohore, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, David Junior Hoilett, Alex Smithies, Leandro Bacuna.
Here come the sides out of the tunnel! As mentioned earlier though, there will be a moment of silence for Emiliano Sala before this match gets started.
As for what to expect in the second half, we could see some changes made from both sides but frankly, there is not that much attacking talent on either bench today. With how solid both defences have looked we could be en route to seeing Cardiff pick up their eighth clean sheet of the season with Southampton currently on track for their sixth.
Cardiff have now won back-to-back top-flight matches for the first time since 1962 and will be hoping to extend that winning streak to three when they host Watford on February 22nd. As for Southampton, this loss will be a difficult one to take and they will now be hoping to bounce back in a difficult match as they visit Arsenal at the Emirates next.
That will do it for our live coverage of this Premier League match between Southampton and Cardiff City! We hope you enjoyed following along and will join us again soon!
