Crystal Palace are doing all of the attacking deep into injury time. West Ham are barely holding on as they remain unable to clear their lines!
90' +1
The fourth official indicates an additional four minutes at the end of the match for stoppages!
90'
Milivojevic doesn’t strike the set-piece cleanly and it ricochets off of a West Ham defender stationed a little way away from the wall. Palace do win a corner-kick for their troubles, but the dangerous spell of pressure fails to lead to a goal.
88'
Meyer wins a free-kick on the edge of West Ham’s penalty area after a late tackle from Diop. Can Crystal Palace steal the three points at the death?!
84'
P. Zabaleta enters the game and replaces R. Fredericks.
Fredericks is replaced by Zabaleta, who will be instructed to contain Zaha with just over five minutes remaining.
83'
Batshuayi receives a pass from Meyer inside the penalty area and fires a shot towards goal without anybody near him – but the linesman’s flag goes up instantly for offside.
79'
M. Meyer enters the game and replaces J. McArthur.
With a yellow card and an assist today, McArthur has been extremely involved in the match. Hodgson does not want to risk a potential second booking and withdraws him for Meyer with just over 10 minutes left.
76'
W. Zaha has scored a goal for Crystal Palace! Assist by J. McArthur.
McArthur’s impact in that goal should not be forgotten as it was his perfectly weighted pass that put Zaha in a position to have a shot.
HOW IN THE WORLD HAS ZAHA MANAGED THAT?! 1-1! West Ham are not alive to the danger as Zaha picks it up near the left post and manages to earn some room in front of Fredericks before side-footing a shot which takes a deflection off of Diop’s foot and skips over the outstretched hand of Fabianski for the equaliser!
75'
Palace build around the penalty area through Van Aanholt and Zaha but the newly introduced Obiang wins a free-kick for his side on the edge of his 18-yard box after McArthur knocks him over during the West Ham midfielder’s attempted clearance.
Minute
Description
73'
Pedro Obiang enters the game and replaces M. Antonio.
Antonio's day is done as Pellegrini looks to see out the victory - sending Obiang on in his place.
Crystal Palace are given another chance from a corner but Diop beats his man to the ball with a diving header on the six-yard box which clears the danger.
71'
Another set-piece is squandered as a good delivery from Milivojevic manages to go right through two Crystal Palace players on the penalty spot and out for a goal-kick on the other side.
70'
Crystal Palace win a corner-kick thanks to Townsend’s invention, but Milivojevic immediately appeals to the referee as the captain thought he saw a handball from Cresswell in the process. The referee disagrees and confirms his earlier call.
68'
M. Arnautović enters the game and replaces J. Hernández.
Back from injury and with a newly signed contract, Arnautovic enters the fray for Hernandez who was more or less anonymous for the majority of the match.
67'
Zaha plays a fantastic ball over the top for Batshuayi but some last-ditch defending from Cresswell halts the Palace attack at the very last second! The match is getting stretched as we enter the last 20 minutes!
65'
Van Aanholt attempts to slip another creative pass through the West Ham defence and into the penalty area for McArthur, but the midfielder is a step too late and it rolls through for Fabianski to smother.
64'
Kelly comes across and puts a crucially timed sliding challenge in on Antonio who was through on goal inside the penalty area with team-mates lining up at the far post. Had he been a second late, it would have surely been another penalty – but the defender got it perfect!
62'
Milivojevic is hugely relieved after his sliding challenge on Noble right in front of the referee goes unpunished. It could have been a second booking for the Crystal Palace captain – which would have seen him given his marching orders.
60'
M. Batshuayi enters the game and replaces C. Benteke.
Benteke is withdrawn after an hour as Batshuayi is sent on to make an impact.
57'
Zaha comes to the aid of Van Aanholt who is defending against Antonio on the right. The forward is a bit too overzealous however and knocks over the opposition striker – earning West Ham a free-kick in a great crossing position.
55'
Palace have come out of the half-time break with the same intensity that they ended the first period with, and that pressure really should have led to a game-levelling goal through McArthur! Hodgson’s side cannot let their heads drop, however, as they are constantly putting West Ham into awkward positions defensively.
51'
The match is restarted, and Palace’s attack breaks down after an audacious long-range curler from Benteke goes well wide of Fabianski’s goal.
47'
Townsend whips a cross into the area for Benteke, who chests it down with great control for Schlupp. The communication breaks down unfortunately and West Ham can smuggle it clear.
46'
Palace get the match restarted from the kick-off!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-1 WEST HAM.
45' +1
J. McArthur gets yellow.
A dangerous slide tackle has earned McArthur a yellow card – Palace’s third of the half.
43'
L. Milivojević gets yellow.
Zaha manages to chest down a cross from the left and leave his marker behind him before smashing a half-volley towards goal which sails high over the crossbar.
Milivojevic is shown a yellow card for a mistimed tackle in midfield.
39'
Hernandez is the target of an Antonio pass after and the striker gets a clean, powerful strike on the volley from outside the penalty area which Guaita initially fumbles before making the save.
37'
Snodgrass takes it to the edge of the six-yard box but Wan-Bissaka is there to make amends for his earlier challenge and gets his head on it to make the initial clearance.
35'
A. Wan-Bissaka gets yellow.
Wan-Bissaka is shown the first card of the match and he is furious about the decision. The right-back did appear to get the ball before Cresswell, but it was a dangerous tackle with his studs slightly showing. West Ham have another dangerous set-piece, this time on the left just outside the 18-yard box.
33'
Milivojevic takes a corner-kick from the left which misses the head of McArthur and somehow fails to fall to Benteke who had Ogbonna tightly marking him. After a rather anonymous opening spell of the game, the striker is finally making an impact on the match.
31'
The response is immediate as Benteke enters the penalty area on the right and has a crack at goal which sends Fabianski flying to his right to make a great stop despite the striker shooting from a narrow angle. They may be down, but Crystal Palace are certainly not out!
29'
Despite the positive start from the hosts, they find themselves a goal down after their first mistake of the match. Guaita did look as though he has genuinely going for the ball, but Antonio’s quick thinking earned himself a clear penalty. What can Palace do in response?
27'
Penalty goal scored by M. Noble for West Ham United!
THE CAPTAIN MAKES NO MISTAKE! 1-0 West Ham! Noble steps up to the penalty spot with regular taker Arnautovic on the bench and sends a coolly taken shot into the bottom-left corner of the goal! Guaita had no chance to make amends!
26'
Both Antonio and Hernandez are taken down in quick succession in midfield, and after taking a moment to think, referee Craig Pawson calls play back to award West Ham a free-kick. It appears as though the match official has given the foul as the second challenge.
24'
Hodgson’s Crystal Palace has such a threatening ability to slow the game down with seemingly aimless passes before turning up the intensity and attacking with pace and power. They can almost lull an opponent to sleep before punishing them – a fact that Diop and Ogbonna must be aware of.
22'
Palace are just knocking it about in front of the defence before a Milivojevic pass splits the West Ham midfielders. A nifty bit of interchange looks to get Zaha free on the left, but the linesman’s flag goes up for offside.
20'
It's been a breathless opening 20 minutes with both sides desperately looking to take the lead. The visitors have done well defending before hitting on the counter, with Zaha not as involved as he would like.
14'
GREAT SAVE GUAITA! Antonio plays a wonderful defence-splitting pass through the lines into the penalty area for Fredericks who shapes his body and has a strike at goal from close range which the Palace keeper deals with – though the initial shot is bobbled slightly.
12'
Felipe Anderson knocks a lovely pass into the penalty area with the outside of his foot for Cresswell, whose first touch over the shoulder takes him slightly too far inside, allowing Palace to get it clear – but not before protestations as the Hammers players appeal for a handball which is not given.
10'
A long ball is hit downfield for Zaha to chase on the left, but Ogbonna comes across and ensures that the forward is unable to retrieve it before going out for a West Ham throw.
8'
The Selhurst Park faithful have not let their voices drop nearly 10 minutes into the match as they urge their side on in this London derby. They’re appealing to their team to attack at every opportunity – a request which the likes of Zaha and Wan-Bissaka will no doubt oblige.
6'
Milivojevic takes the set-piece and it falls for McArthur but he’s unable to chest it down and fire it towards goal as a well-placed West Ham defender blocks it before Antonio clears it away off the volley.
5'
Fredericks gives away a free-kick on the left-hand side after going into a challenge on Zaha. The Palace forward takes it quickly and gets a return ball near the penalty area which he turns into a corner.
3'
Snodgrass takes the set-piece to the near post, but it misses the head of Antonio and skips over the outstretched leg of a West Ham midfielder stationed on the edge of the penalty area.
2'
Cresswell wins an early corner after his cross deflects off of Wan-Bissaka following a lovely interchange with Felipe Anderson.

West Ham get the match underway from the kick-off!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE commentary of the Premier League fixture between Crystal Palace and West Ham!
Crystal Palace enter today’s fixture unbeaten in three matches – including an FA Cup fourth-round victory over Tottenham, and four out of a possible six points won in the Premier League. The Eagles find themselves 14th, a comfortable four points away from the relegation zone, and two wins off of opponents West Ham who are in 12th.
Despite scoring nine goals in their last five fixtures – well above their season average of 1.04 goals per game – Wilfred Zaha has not been the influential figure he was earlier in the season, netting only once in that span. It appears Palace are now able to earn results without relying solely on their talisman; with much of the slack picked up by captain Luka Milivojevic and his unbelievable dead-ball talent.
If Palace are feeling better about their league position, then West Ham’s form of late is cause for some concern. A heated 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Monday arrested a run of three straight defeats in all competitions – stark contrast to the Hammers’ form at the end of 2018 when they won five of seven matches leading up to the new calendar year.
A host of injuries to key players – especially those in creative areas - have certainly hampered West Ham’s quest up the Premier League table as Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko, Samir Nasri and Manuel Lanzini all remain sidelined. A win today, however, would go a long way in helping their cause, as three points could, if results go accordingly, bring them up into 8th place.
CRYSTAL PALACE XI (4-3-3): Vicente Guaita; Patrick van Aanholt, Mamadou Sakho, Martin Kelly, Aaron Wan-Bissaka; Jeffrey Schlupp, Luka Milivojevic, James McArthur; Wilfred Zaha, Christian Benteke, Andros Townsend.
With 15 minutes remaining before kick-off, the team news has been confirmed! Let's start with the home side!
WEST HAM SUBS: Grady Diangana, Pedro Obiang, Marko Arnautovic, Arthur Masuaku, Andy Carroll, Pablo Zabaleta, Adrian.
WEST HAM XI (4-4-2): Lukasz Fabianski; Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna, Aaron Cresswell; Robert Snodgrass, Mark Noble, Declan Rice, Felipe Anderson; Michail Antonio, Javier Hernandez.
CRYSTAL PALACE SUBS: Joel Ward, Michy Batshuayi, Jordan Ayew, Wayne Hennessey, Scott Dann, Max Meyer, Bakary Sako.
Crystal Palace really piled on the pressure late in the half as they did everything they could to enter the half-time break level. The hosts really need to capitalise on their set-pieces going forward, with a wonderful dead-ball specialist in Milivojevic and a great target man in Benteke. West Ham, on the other hand, must continue playing with the same intensity and intelligent defensive positioning – the kind that has forced Schlupp and Townsend into anonymity. It should be an entertaining second period, with more goals extremely likely.
That concludes our commentary of the Premier League fixture between Crystal Palace and West Ham. We hope you enjoyed it!
Crystal Palace return to action next Sunday when they travel to face Doncaster Rovers in the FA Cup. West Ham have a bit of an extended break as they don’t play again until February 22 when they host Fulham in the Premier League.
