That was excellent work by Neves, and by Bonatini who had the presence of mind to lay it to Traore. Wolves just about deserve this win.

What a miss by Jimenez! Neves picks out Doherty with a stunning switch of play from left to right. Doherty lays it on a plate for Jimenez but he trips over his own feet. Wolves should have the lead!

Pellegrini makes his second change of the day as Wilshere comes off for Obiang.
62'

61'
Wolves win another corner on their right. It's cleared but Wolves get it back. They're targeting that side of West Ham's defence relentlessly.

60'
A. Cresswell gets yellow.

Neves whips in the free-kick from wide on the right but it's headed out for a West Ham goal-kick. The game has livened up!

42'
The ref gives Wolves a free-kick deep in their own half. The away side can be happy with their performance in this first 45 minutes.
41'
Arnautovic has been anonymous up front for West Ham in this half. It's easy to see why, as West Ham lose the ball again after a spell of purposeless possession.
40'
Cresswell makes some progress down West Ham's left flank, crossing it in and winning a corner. Snodgrass takes the corner short, gets it back and whips the ball in towards the far post but it's too far for anyone to reach.
39'
Antonio and Snodgrass have swapped wings for West Ham with the Englishman now on the left and the Scotsman on the right. Will that make a difference for the Hammers?

31'
There's a bit of a lull as the sides exchange the ball without very much happening at all. West Ham need to force the issue here.
29'
That said, Wolves haven't created much of note themselves either, and West Ham suddenly wake up! Cresswell takes on Doherty, crossing into the area. The ball drops to Snodgrass, who fires a venomous shot into the side netting.
28'
Most of Arnautovic's best work has been tracking back and cutting out Wolves attacks rather than getting on the end of West Ham attacks so far. It says a lot about West Ham's torpor.
26'
Antonio loses out to Bennett who attempts a run upfield. Arnautovic wins it back, trying to exploit the space Bennett has left behind him, but Wolves fend West Ham off and run forward again. It's harum-scarum stuff.
25'
Another overlapping run by Doherty leads to another Wolves cross from the right but, again, there's no one on the end of it.

15'
Antonio responds to the crowd's call by trying a ball over the top towards Arnautovic but Bennett and Patricio combine to snuff the danger out.
14'
Anderson gives the ball away in midfield but West Ham get away with it. The home support are grumbling a little at the ponderousness of their side.

12'
Costa and Doherty try to combine again down the Wolves right but the attack breaks down after what looks like a handball from Diop? The ref lets it go. Close shave for West Ham.
11'
Nothing comes of the corner. Wolves take the opportunity to pass it between themselves at the back, waiting for their chance.
10'
Costa finds tons of space down the right hand flank and cuts it back to Doherty. His first time shot from Doherty is turned over by Fabianski! First corner of the game to Wolves.

4'

Although West Ham are the established top-flight club and Wolves are newly promoted, it's only the fourth game of the Premier League season and it already feels the other way around. The Hammers have had a torrid start to life under Manuel Pellegrini after losing all three of their games so far, while Wolves have made an instant impression, claiming eye-catching draws against Everton and last season's champions Manchester City.
Premier League newboys Wolves, meanwhile, look confident and stable, as manager Nuno Espírito Santo has stuck with the same XI that gained that 1-1 draw with Manchester City last week. On the evidence they've shown so far, they should have no fear of relegation this season - if they continue as they've started.
West Ham come into this game after their first win of the season - as they came from behind against the 10 men of AFC Wimbledon in the EFL Cup mid-week - and they'll be hoping that Pellegrini's know-how rubs off in their first Premier League match with Wolves since New Year's Day 2011. Pellegrini won eight of his nine matches against newly promoted opposition as Manchester City manager.
Not the most enthralling first half, that. Wolves were the brighter of the two teams, with their right wing-back Doherty in particular getting plenty of joy, but they still didn't make a clear chance of note. West Ham, meanwhile, were even lamer.
It'll be interesting to see how West Ham respond in the second half. Will they give Cresswell more protection against Costa and Doherty on their left-hand side? Will they offer more support to Arnautovic? Wolves look more likely to get the first goal as things stand, and if they do, you sense West Ham are in trouble.
Dear, oh dear. Just when it looked like West Ham had picked themselves up enough to deserve a point, they lost concentration at the last and Traore made them pay. The Hammers are under serious pressure now.
Wolves, meanwhile, can be extremely happy with their day's work. They always looked the more likely team to win it and Patricio's bravelate save gave them the platform to do so. They jump up to ninth in the table while West Ham stay rock bottom.
We've only just started September and already Pellegrini is going to have questions asked of him. The international break can't come soon enough for the Hammers, who need to pull themselves together quickly. That's all for now! Goodbye.
