All that's left today is for the Liverpool fans to finish their singing of "You'll Never Walk Alone" and the referee's whistle.
90' +1
Antonio takes a shot from 30 yards out but it's easily smothered by Alisson, who has had one of the easiest debuts in recent memory.
88'
D. Sturridge has scored a goal for Liverpool!
GOOALLLL!!! STURRIDGE SCORES JUST SECONDS AFTER COMING ON THE PITCH! Liverpool 4-0 West Ham. Sturridge pitched out on the back post and the corner found its way past everyone in front of him and he tapped it home!
87'
D. Sturridge enters the game and replaces Mohamed Salah.
Shaqiri finds Keita in the box with a lovely cross-field ball! The former lays it off to a surging Robertson but the ball is put behind for a corner by a West Ham defender. Corner kick.
Daniel Sturridge, who was out on loan at West Brom last season, comes on for Salah... and both are cheered heavily by the home crowd.
84'
Only one outfield player left in Liverpool's half as they build up another attack. Hardly trying to protect their three goal lead!
82'
X. Shaqiri enters the game and replaces S. Mané.
And here it is. Shaqiri comes on for Mane who exits having scored a brace today.
81'
There's a pitch invader that's being tracked down at the moment but, in the interim, Shaqiri looks set to come on for his league debut for Liverpool.
80'
Salah with a lovely backheel pass to Wijnaldum who charges into the box, but shoots rather than laying it off to Keita who was in loads of space.
78'
Keita goes on a long run down Liverpool's left flank before playing Robertson in behind. The latter crosses the ball on the floor towards Salah but he can't get there in time and there's no one at the back post.
76'
Salah pulls off a nifty heel-flick on the right wing, before passing it back to Milner. Just having fun now.

Description
73'
Wijnaldum takes a shot from the top of the box, but it soars over Fabianski's goal. Goal kick.
72'
Fredericks and Snodgrass play a lovely one-two into the Liverpool box, but an offside is called which brings an end to the move.
70'
Milner sends in a dangerous free kick towards Van Dijk, but it's headed clear before a Liverpool head can get to it.
69'
J. Henderson enters the game and replaces Roberto Firmino.
Firmino, who assisted the third goal, makes way for midfielder Jordan Henderson.
68'
Alexander-Arnold gets forward before whipping in a low cross, but it's deflected behind for a corner.
67'
A. Yarmolenko enters the game and replaces M. Arnautović.
Arnautovic was unable to make his mark on today's match and now makes way for new signing Andriy Yarmolenko.
65'
Wilshere and Noble are on the ground in their own penalty area having both been on the receiving end of thundering Liverpool strikes.
62'
J. Hernández enters the game and replaces Felipe Anderson.
Arnautovic goes down in the box, but neither a penalty nor a dive is called.
Felipe Anderson is booed by the Liverpool faithful as he comes off for striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernández.
60'
Liverpool are now just passing the ball around the Hammers' penalty area with ease. Seems as though they're just waiting to score their fourth goal of the day.
55'
F. Balbuena gets yellow.
Balbuena picks up a yellow in his first Premier League match. His debut has surely not gone the way he would have hoped.
53'
S. Mané has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by Roberto Firmino.
GOALLLL!!! MANE SCORES AGAIN!!! Liverpool 3-0 West Ham! Mane, who may have drifted just offside, collects a pass in from Firmino, and slots it into the lower left-hand corner. No doubt pundits will be discussing VAR in the post-match.
Firmino dribbled around the outside of the box before nudging the ball towards Mane, who applied the finish.
52'
M. Antonio gets yellow.
Antonio came through the front of Alexander-Arnold and is given a yellow for his efforts. Didn't look too nasty for whatever that's worth.
51'
A loose ball is reclaimed by Salah just outside of the West Ham penalty area, he looks up and sees Mane and Firmino both in the box... but they're also both offside. He tries to dribble around a bit but is dispossessed by a sliding defender. The chance is gone.
49'
It looks like Felipe Anderson has switched over to the right wing, from which he sends in a dangerous cross that Van Dijk put behind for a corner. Better from West Ham in the very early stages of the second half.
46'
R. Snodgrass enters the game and replaces D. Rice.
Halftime substitution here as defender Declan Rice makes way for Robert Snodgrass.
And we're off for the second half! Can West Ham get back into this? Will Liverpool score another tap-in goal? Either way, we'll find out together!
45' +2
S. Mané has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by J. Milner.
Robertson found Milner deep in the penalty area with a fantastic cross, then the Englishman waited for Fabianski to charge out before passing the ball back to an unmarked Mane. Fantastic play there.
GOALLL!!!! MANE SCORES! Liverpool 2-0 West Ham!! After some lovely passing in the buildup, Fabianski was pulled wide which allowed Mane to tuck the ball into an empty net.
45'
West Ham just cannot find away out of their own half at the moment, let alone a meaningful scoring chance.
Curse of the commentator there as Antonio breaks through the lines with a strong run before whipping in a cross that Alexander-Arnold deflects behind for a corner.
42'
Liverpool were building up a lovely attack again before Ketia, who had been found with a pass from out wide, failed to hold onto the ball, allowing West Ham to clear.
39'
Fabianski has had a few moments to shine here in the last few minutes, this time parrying a cross over an oncoming Liverpool player... before chasing it down to prevent the corner, and clearing it all the way into Liverpool's half. He looks a fantastic signing for Pellegrini despite the early goal.
38'
Mane, Firmino, and Salah combine for some lovely passing inside West Ham's penalty area with the latter getting a shot off from point blank range... but FABIANSKI SAVES IT! You'd have fancied Salah from there!
37'
Milner whips a ball into Salah who HEADS IT TOWARDS GOAL.... but it's saved, and he was offside. Much ado about nothing it would seem.
33'
Fredericks goes on a long run through the right channel before playing it wide to Antonio. The latter whips in a cross towards Arnautovic but a big header from Gomez sends the ball flying away from danger. There's the pace we spoke about earlier though!
31'
Ogbonna gifted the ball to Salah in the box, which is.. unwise, but he was able to muscle the Egyptian off the ball and get the ball clear. Dangerous there!
29'
West Ham are getting more involved now, though their play is still a bit frantic. With the pace they have in attack, they could well catch Liverpool on the break at some point mind!
27'
Antonio launches down the left flank for West Ham before he's cut down by Firmino. No further action is deemed necessary by the referee.
23'
This match could quickly get out of hand if West Ham can't manage to hold onto the ball. This time a loose pass leads to a break for Liverpool before Firmino is fouled. There'll be a free kick from a dangerous position.
21'
T. Alexander-Arnold gets yellow.
Alexander-Arnold put his arm up to get some distance on Felipe Anderson, but it made contact with the latter's face. The Liverpool man is shown yellow.
19'
Mohamed Salah has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by A. Robertson.
Robertson found himself in loads of space on the left and cut a lovely, low ball across the box, and Salah poked it home!
GOALLLL!!!! SALAH SCORES! Liverpool 1-0 West Ham. Salah seems to have picked up right where he left off last season! His positioning was exquisite which invited the pass in from Robertson.
18'
Milner sent in a lovely cross towards the attacking trio, but none of them were able to stick it into the back of the net. Firmino got a touch but, if anything, it took the ball away from Mane's path. Goal kick to West Ham.
17'
End to end stuff now as Felipe Anderson shows off his pace down West Ham's left. He blazes past two Liverpool players before Gomez slid over and toe-poked the ball away from the Brazilian.
16'
Mane beats the backline and is found by a great ball from Milner... but Fabianski is able to get to, and smother the chance!
14'
No. The corner kick soars over everyone before Liverpool launch a quick counter-attack through Mane, but it comes to nothing as well.
13'
West Ham do get forward this time and earn a corner. Wilshere had shipped the ball forward to Antonio before the ball went off a Liverpool player and behind. Can they make something of this?
8'
Some lovely passing from midfield forward as Wijnaldum, Keita, and Salah all play one touches with the final ball into Firmino... but he's dispossesed in the box. That move probably deserved a goal!
6'
Newcomer Keita does well to settle things down in the midfield as West Ham were applying a bit of pressure. He looks fairly settled for a player in his first league start at Anfield.
4'
Alexander-Arnold lobs Salah in behind the defence on their right... but the Egyptian is called offside.
2'
Each side have gotten into their opponent's box already, but not a real chance for either. Promising signs early though!
1'
And there it is! We're underway at Anfield!
Hello, and welcome to our live commentary of Liverpool v West Ham!
Now, let's look at the squads that each side will be sending out today!
Liverpool (4-3-3): Alisson Becker; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson; Naby Keita, Georginio Wijnaldum, James Milner; Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane.
West Ham (3-4-3): Lukasz Fabianski; Fabian Balbuena, Angelo Ogbonna, Declan Rice; Ryan Fredericks, Mark Noble, Jack Wilshere, Arthur Masuaku; Michail Antonio, Marko Arnautovic; Felipe Anderson.
Obviously the man to watch for Liverpool is Mohamed Salah though. He took the league by storm last season, winning the Golden Boot with 32 goals.
Premier League debuts today for Alisson, Keita, Fredericks, and Felipe Anderson, while Fabianski and Wilshere get their first league starts for the Hammers.
The teams are out of the tunnel as "You'll Never Walk Alone" echoes around Anfield.
Now we only wait on the referee's whistle....
HALF TIME: Liverpool 2-0 West Ham
Liverpool will be very pleased with how they've played and the two goals they've scored but, honestly, Klopp may be frustrated that they have not scored more, such has been their dominance.
West Ham, on the other side, looked like they'd be able to head into the half just one goal down, but Mane ensured that wouldn't happen. If they could hold onto the ball or pass it better (79.8% accuracy) they could at least cut down on the breaks they're offering their opponents. If they are unable to do either, or both, Liverpool will likely score four or more goals against them. Again.
FULL TIME: Liverpool 4-0 West Ham
That will do it for our live coverage of this match between Liverpool and West Ham! We hope you enjoyed following along with us and will do so again soon!
Well, that was a fairly comprehensive victory for Liverpool today. The attacking players were fantastic, as expected, with Firmino, Mane, and Salah all involved in at least one goal. Keita really held things together in central midfield which helped the Reds stay in attacking areas for the vast majority of the match. Obviously, you don't want to read too much into early results, but Liverpool look every bit the title contenders they have been touted as this offseason.
West Ham fans may not have expected to beat Liverpool today, but they surely would have expected better than this. Debutants Fabianski, Felipe Anderson and Fredericks were really the only bright spots for Pellegrini's men. The midfield was dominated by Keita and co. and the defence had no answers for Liverpool's attack. You'd imagine the Hammers will find their feet at some point this season, but it certainly did not happen today.
