We're underway in Dublin at the Aviva Stadium!
Hello and welcome to tonight's live coverage of the Republic of Ireland vs United States from the Aviva Stadium. Both of these sides failed to qualify for the World Cup in Russia but it will give the Irish fans the chance to say goodbye to John O'Shea who will retire from international football after his 118th appearance.
Ireland will be looking to end their poor recent run after losing their last three games. Martin O'Neill's men were last in action on Monday and they lost 2-0 to France in a friendly.
The United States are out to prove a point this year after missing out on the World Cup and they are currently unbeaten in four. They will be full of confidence tonight after beating Bolivia 3-0 on Monday.
Goals should also be expected this evening. Each of the 10 matches between the pair have seen both sides score at least once – there has yet to be a clean sheet for either team.
Ireland Starting XI (4-4-2): Colin Doyle, Seamus Coleman, Shane Duffy, Kevin Long, Declan Rice, Callum O'Dowda, John O'Shea (c), Jeff Hendrick, James McClean, Graham Burke, Jonathan Walters.
Ireland SUBS: David Meyler, Matt Doherty, Daryl Horgan, Greg Cunningham, Alan Browne, Darragh Lenihan, John Egan, Shane Supple, Enda Stevens, Conor O'Malley, Harry Arter, Alan Judge.
United States Starting XI (4-1-4-1): Bill Hamid, DeAndre Yedlin, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Matt Miazga, Jorge Villafaña, Wil Trapp (c), Timothy Weah, Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie, Rubio Rubin, Bobby Wood.
United States SUBS: Antonee Robinson, Andrija Novakovich, Eric Lichaj, Joshua Sargent, Tim Parker, Joe Corona, Zack Steffen, Luca De La Torre, Shaquell Moore.
No Shane Long tonight for Ireland due to a knee injury and that gives Burke a chance from the off. USA coach Dave Sarachan makes a number of changes to the team that beat Bolivia but McKennie, Weah, Rubin survive the cut.
Tonight's game kicks off at 8.08pm and both sets of players have just finished their warm-ups at the Aviva Stadium.
HALF-TIME Ireland 0-1 USA.
O'Dowda has been superb so far and Burke is not far behind him but it is the same old story for Ireland. They look good down the wings but are struggling to create clear-cut chances and convert when they do.
FULL-TIME - Ireland 2-1 USA.

Thanks for tuning in tonight folks, goodbye!
Rice, Duffy, O'Dowda, McClean and Burke were instrumental in that win this evening and Ireland's fans can have some hope heading into the qualifying campaign for the European Championships. The USA also have some positives to build on but they need to confirm their new permanent manager before looking too far ahead.
