Bong does well to win a corner for the Seagulls, who look dangerous at set pieces and this may be a good way for them to get back into the game. Knockaert whips the ball into the box, which is met by the head of Ulloa, but he can't direct it towards goal and it goes well wide.
71'
L. Ulloa enters the game and replaces P. Groß.

BRIGHTON CHANCES! The Seagulls counter quickly up the pitch, with Izquierdo racing through on goal but Hennessey rushes out of goal and makes a good block with his legs. It looks like the danger has gone, but Van Aanholt is complacent when clearing the ball and takes too long, so Izquierdo nicks it off his toes and passes to Murray on the right side of the box, he fires a shot at goal, which is superbly blocked Sakho.
66'
Brighton are starting to show more attacking intent now, they are keeping Palace penned inside their own half at the moment and looking for a way through to goal. However, apart from Murray's chance a few minutes ago, they are struggling to carve out any real goalscoring opportunities.
61'
GREAT CHANCE! Brighton go so close to drawing level! Murray was just inches away from making it 3-3 here, after his low drilled shot across goal flew just wide of past the far post, with Hennessey beaten. Good effort.
60'
As we go past the hour mark here at Selhurst Park, it remains 3-2 in favour of the hosts but as we've seen so far this afternoon, anything could happen! The atmosphere is terrific from both sets of fans and it is really adding to the game.

Zaha is still looking lively up front for Palace, he has caused Brighton so many problems this afternoon and will be hoping to get on the scoresheet once more to get his hat-trick. Dunk and Duffy have had their hands full dealing with him this afternoon.
53'
Palace look pretty comfortable at the moment, they need to inject a little pace into the game but they appear strong and are keeping Brighton away from the danger area. The Seagulls look short of ideas in attack and they haven't really threatened Hennessey in the Palace goal.
51'
The second half hasn't started as quick as the first period did, it is much slower and Brighton seem to have regrouped at half-time as they are now seeing more of the ball and not allowing Palace to play their quick, attacking football.

Can either team score another before the break? We don't want this half to end, it's been a terrific game so far.

Locadia threads a pass to Izquierdo in behind Ward, the winger gets away from him before curling a shot beyond Hennessey into the far corner.

Brighton are struggling to get on the ball at the moment, they are losing every second ball and Palace just look too quick and strong for them today. Murray has barely touched the ball for Brighton, apart from his goal.
24'
W. Zaha has scored a goal for Crystal Palace! Assist by L. Milivojević.
GOOOAAALLL! PALACE EXTEND THEIR LEAD! Another goal by Zaha to make it 3-1 after just 25 minutes! It's a great cross into the box by Milivojevic, who had so much time on the ball to pick out Zaha at the far post. Zaha rose above his man and powered a header into the back of the net past Ryan.
Milivojević had so much time and space on the ball, with Brighton not closing him down quick enough and the skipper picked out Zaha perfectly in the box, who made no mistakes with the finish.

Milivojević just needs to calm down at the moment, he has recently been booked, but he is flying into the challenges and the Brighton players are keen to point that out to the referee. After their great start, they don't want to lose a player early on.

It's the former Eagles striker Glenn Murray with the goal, following an excellent header by Dunk, which was just kept out by the crossbar and Hennessey, however Murray was in the right place at the right time, to tuck the ball home. Game on.

Mat Ryan did well in the Brighton goal initially to make two good saves, but Brighton were really scrambling to clear, but they just couldn't get rid of the ball and Tomkins punished them.
13'
Brighton haven't got going here yet, they are struggling to string more than a few passes together and Palace are dominating at the moment, in every department. Another Eagles goal would really make it tough for the Seagulls to get back into the game, they are yet to mount an attack.
11'
D. Stephens gets yellow.

The Eagles were also handed a big boost before the game with Southampton suffering a 3-2 defeat against Chelsea, which means the Saints remain in the bottom three and three points below Palace.
5'
W. Zaha has scored a goal for Crystal Palace!
GOOOAAALLL! PALACE TAKE THE LEAD! The Eagles have started the game the better of the two sides and get on the scoresheet very early here! It all came from a corner, with Milivojevic driving the ball into the box and no Brighton players got close enough to him, so the midfielder fired a low shot at goal. Ryan got a hand to it, but couldn't stop it from firing past him, then Zaha adds the finishing touch just on the line to make sure it went in. Great start for the hosts.
