OFF THE POST! Kenedy with almost the perfect arrival here! The rebound appears to fall perfectly to Christian Atsu in penalty area, who was unmarked and onside, but he can't get his feet sorted quickly enough and his weak effort is fired straight at Nick Pope. By far the best chance of the game.

We're underway!
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Premier League clash between Newcastle United and Burnley at St James' Park.
Newcastle are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference, they sit 15th in the table and are one of four teams all on 23 points, so picking up three points at home is vital.
Chelsea loanee Kenedy could make his Magpies debut tonight against Burnley. DeAndre Yedlin, Paul Dummett and Mo Diame are all set to be recalled, having been rested for Newcastle's FA Cup defeat against Chelsea at the weekend.
Burnley are winless from their last seven Premier League games; however, they currently sit eighth in the table after a terrific first half of the season and they have picked up 34 points so far. Their last victory coming against Stoke City back in mid-December.
The Clarets also have a potential debutant of their own tonight, with Aaron Lennon is in line to appear for Sean Dyche's side, after his move from Everton earlier this month. However, they are expected to be without Steven Defour and James Tarkowski due to injury.
The team news is in, here is how the two sides will line-up this evening...
BURNLEY (4-5-1): Pope (GK); Bardsley, Long, Mee (C), Taylor; Gundmundsson, Cork, Westwood, Hendrick, Arfield; Barnes.
TEAM NEWS: Newcastle have made eight changes from their FA Cup defeat against Chelsea. Only Karl Darlow, Jamal Lascelles and Ciaran Clark keep their places in the starting line-up. Meanwhile Burnley make two changes, with Kevin Long coming in for James Tarkowski and Ashley Westwood replacing Steven Defour.
The teams are out here at St James' Park and kick-off is just minutes away! Stay tuned for all of the match action.
HALF-TIME: NEWCASTLE 0-0 BURNLEY
Newcastle have enjoyed more possession and had the better of the chances in the first half, but they could be left to rue the failure from 12 yards out, as Joselu saw his penalty saved by Pope. Not too many other chances in the game, a match that both sides could do to win, to end their recent poor form.
FULL-TIME: NEWCASTLE 1-1 BURNLEY
Newcastle thought they'd won it following the opener from Lascelles, but Burnley fought back with unfortunate own goal by Darlow after a Sam Vokes header, which leveled the scoreline. A point isn't the best return for Newcastle due to their position in the table, they are dangerously close to the relegation zone and need to start picking up victories.
That's all from us tonight folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
Meanwhile Burnley move up to seventh with that point, however they remain without a win in their last eight Premier League games.
