FOUR MINUTES! That is how long that 10-man Milan have to find an equaliser here. Could they do it or will Sampdoria hang on?...
90'
J. Sosa gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
SOSA IS OFF! Milan's misery is compounded as the Argentine is shown a second yellow card in the space of six minutes. He was desperate to get the ball back but mistimed his challenge and the referee had no choice.
87'
WHAT A SAVE! Terrific goalkeeping by Viviano denies Lapadula! The Milan number nine beats the offside trap to latch onto a clever through ball by Suso, but terrific reflexes prevent the number nine from finding the equaliser. Time is running out for the hosts...
86'
We are into the final four minutes at the San Siro and Milan are desperately trying to avert a fourth straight defeat in all competitions. Their recent poor form has seen them slip to seventh in Serie A and they are set to lose more ground on the top three.
84'
J. Sosa gets yellow.
Sosa is booked for halting an attempted Sampdoria counter-attack through the centre of the field.

79'
L. Ocampos enters the game and replaces A. Bertolacci.
Milan make their final change and new loan signing Lucas Ocampos comes on for his debut in place of Bertolacci. Can he mark it in the best way possible by finding an equaliser?...
77'
WASTED! Milan are now under pressure to salvage a point from this match. They build another neat passage of play with Deulofeu leading the charge once more, but Suso sends the subsequent shot high into the stands.
74'
Replays show that Bacca was visibly unimpressed at being substituted by Montella, but it is fair to say that the Colombian has not been at his clinical best today.
72'
G. Lapadula enters the game and replaces C. Bacca.
I. Abate enters the game and replaces M. Pašalić.
Meanwhile, a tactical change by Milan sees Ignazio Abate introduced in place of Pasalic. Abate slots in at right-back and Kucka will now move forward into midfield.
Bacca is also given a breather by Montella, who introduces Gianluca Lapadula for the final 18 minutes.
71'
P. Schick enters the game and replaces F. Quagliarella.
Earning the penalty was Quagliarella's final contribution as he is withdrawn and replaced by Schick.
70'
Penalty goal scored by L. Muriel for Sampdoria!
MURIEL SLOTS IT AWAY!!! Against the run of play, Sampdoria lead at the San Siro! Muriel calmly sends Donnarumma the wrong way for his eighth goal of the season and could that secure a first win in 10 over Milan for the Blucerchiati?
69'
PENALTY TO SAMPDORIA! A loose touch from Zapata is pounced upon and launches a counter-attack for the visitors. Quagliarella is then tripped by Paletta in the box and leaves the referee with no choice but to point straight to the spot.
67'
Milan continuing to press for the opening goal of this clash, but cannot afford to keep letting opportunities go to waste here or they will more than likely be punished.
65'
The San Siro is incensed as Bacca goes to ground under a challenge by Silvestre, but the referee remains unmoved and it appeared to be more of a tangle than anything else.
63'
J. Kucka gets yellow.
Kucka also has his name taken for a rash challenge.
60'
Suso gets yellow.
Suso is the next player into the book for Milan.
59'
JUST WIDE! The Rossoneri are getting closer! A sweeping move including Suso and Bacca sets up Pasalic to let fly from just outside the box, but his powerful strike goes just past the far post.
57'
The home fans are making plenty of noise inside the San Siro trying to inspire their side to the breakthrough. The opening goal is all that has been missing from Milan's performance so far.
55'
STAT ATTACK! The Blucerchiati are looking for their first win over Milan in 10 attempts here. You have to go back to a 1-0 victory in August 2012 for the last time they took three points off the Rossoneri.
53'
F. Đuričić enters the game and replaces Bruno Fernandes.
Sampdoria make the first change of the day with Fernandes making way for Filip Đuričić.
WOULD'VE BEEN! Bacca goes for the spectacular with an attempted overhead kick from a Milan corner. However, the Colombian does not connect as he would have liked and sends his effort wide of the target, much to his frustration.
52'
NERVY! Bereszynski almost hands Bacca a gift as he underhits his back pass, but an alert Viviano is quick out of goal to intervene and clear the danger.
50'
At the other end, Sampdoria threaten on the counter once again. The ball reaches Praet in the box, but his tame effort is easily held onto by Donnarumma.
48'
OFF THE POST! Milan are a coat of paint away from taking the lead at the San Siro! A dangerous ball from the right fizzes across the area to an unmarked Deulofeu at the far post, but the Spaniard's placed effort rebounds off the woodwork with Viviano well beaten.
46'
KICK-OFF! The referee blows his whistle and Sampdoria get the ball rolling again in the second half.
45' +2
And that is the last action of this first period, as the referee blows his whistle for half-time.
45' +1
Muriel goes on a strong run into the box in the final stages of the first half. However, good defending from Paletta sees him put his body in the way, before eventually drawing a free-kick out of the striker.
45'
C. Bacca gets yellow.
Bacca is the first Milan player to have his name taken by Mr Guida.
43'
Along with Donnarumma, Suso has played in every match for Milan in Serie A this season. He has been very inspirational, too, with only Jose Callejon and Mauro Icardi bettering his seven assists in the Italian top-flight.
41'
WHISKERS! The cross just needed a touch! Suso is asking the questions from the opposite flank on this occasion. He plays an inviting ball across the face of goal, but it just evades his teammates and drifts narrowly wide of the far post.
39'
Although the season-ending injury to Bonaventura is a huge loss for Milan, it has presented an opportunity for Deulofeu to really make an impact at the San Siro during the second half of the campaign and the Spaniard has looked lively so far.
37'
From the resulting corner, the danger is cleared but only as far as Deulofeu, whose drilled effort through the crowded penalty area is well held onto by Viviano.
36'
SO CLOSE! Sampdoria are fighting the tide at the moment. Suso gets to the byline and pulls the ball across the six-yard area looking for Pasalic, but a combination of Viviano and the defender clear the danger before the midfielder can tap in.
33'
Montella will be very pleased with the intensity of Milan's play during this first half, but you feel that breaking the deadlock would really settle the hosts down before the break.
31'
The Sampdoria stopper has missed the majority of the season through injury, but has not looked at all rusty so far here and seems very sharp more than anything else.
29'
GOOD SAVE! Milan continue to ask questions and go close again as we approach the half-hour mark, with Bertolacci's shot turned over by an alert Viviano.
28'
L. Torreira gets yellow.
Torreira is shown the first yellow card of the game.
27'
At the other end of the field, Pasalic tries his luck from outside the area with a left-footed shot that is well saved by Viviano.
26'
Of course, Linetty was drafted into starting line-up as a late replacement for Edgar Barreto prior to kick-off, and he was so close to making his mark in the best possible way there.
25'
GREAT SAVE! A terrible ball from Deulofeu goes straight to Quagliarella and puts Milan on the back foot. He lays it off to Muriel who, in turn, finds Linetty, but his shot is well kept out by Donnarumma.
23'
GOOD EFFORT! Bertolacci tries his luck from distance with a wonderful effort that seems destined for the far corner, but the outstretched left arm of Viviano pushes it away.
21'
Seventh-placed Milan could move as high as fifth with three points here and they are certainly on the ascendency at the moment. However, the hosts need to strike while the iron is hot...
18'
Bacca looks to latch onto a lofted through ball over the top of the Sampdoria defence, but just starts his run too early and is rightly ruled offside.
16'
Milan turn up the pressure and work their way into the Sampdoria area. However, the visitors have numbers back and are able to block Pasalic's shot at goal.
13'
STAT ATTACK! Bacca has scored in each of the last three meetings between the sides, including the winner in September's reverse fixture.
11'
OUCH! There is a slight break in play here following a clash of heads between Silvestre and Bacca in the Milan penalty area after a Sampdoria corner. Both players receive attention but should be fine to continue.
9'
Nothing comes of the free-kick but, at the other end of the field, Paletta is forced to make a vital interception as Sampdoria threaten to hit Milan on the counter-attack.
7'
The Everton loanee is involved again and brought down about 35 yards from goal. Milan have a free-kick in a decent position here...
5'
Deulofeu looks to make an impact on his first start for Milan and runs with purpose into the heart of the Sampdoria defence. However, the visitors hold firm on this occasion and snuff out his threat.
3'
Marco Guida is the man in charge at the San Siro. It is his second appointment here in the space of five days, having also overseen Inter Milan's 2-1 defeat to Lazio in the Coppa Italia earlier this week.
1'
KICK-OFF! The referee blows his whistle and Milan get the match underway.
Seventh-placed Milan are looking to end a run of three straight defeats in all competitions here. However, the Rossoneri will take confidence from the fact that they have won each of their last four meetings with Sampdoria, who are 12th but come into this clash off the back of an impressive 3-2 win over second-placed Roma last weekend.
Hello everyone and welcome to LIVE text coverage of the 2016/17 Serie A season! Today, we're at the iconic San Siro where AC Milan welcome Sampdoria in the Italian top-flight.
Vincenzo Montella is facing his former employers today and makes three changes to the side that were beaten 2-1 by Udinese last Sunday. Everton loanee Gerard Deulofeu makes his first start in place of the injured Giacomo Bonaventura, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while Andrea Bertolacci comes into the three-man midfield. Juraj Kucka slots in an right-back as part of a makeshift defence following Milan's recent injury woes across the backline, which also saw Mattia De Sciglio and Luca Antonelli join the casualty list this week. Therefore, Alessio Romagnoli moves across to start at left-back and Cristian Zapata comes into the centre alongside Gabriel Paletta. New signing Lucas Ocampos could make his debut from the bench.
AC MILAN (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Kucka, Zapata, Paletta, Romagnoli; Bertolacci, Sosa, Pasalic; Suso, Bacca, Deulofeu.
AC MILAN SUBS: Storari, Lapadula, Honda, Ocampos, Fernandez, Gomez, Poli, Abate, Vangioni, Locatelli, Calabria, Plizzari.
Meanwhile, Marco Giampaolo, who took over from Montella at Sampdoria at the start of this season, makes just a single alteration to the side that beat Roma last time out. It comes in goal with Emiliano Viviano returning from injury to take the place of understudy Christian Puggioni, who signed a new deal until June 2019 this week. Veteran Fabio Quagliarella will be hoping to cause plenty of problems alongside top scorer Luis Muriel up front, while Milan target Patrik Schick takes his place on the bench alongside Michal Tomic, who receives his first senior call-up.
HERE THEY COME! The teams are making their way out onto the field and the San Siro is in fine voice.
HALF-TIME: AC MILAN 0-0 SAMPDORIA
We're still goalless at half-time, but Milan were certainly on top during the first 45 minutes. All that was missing from their performance was the opening goal, although Sampdoria did look dangerous when hitting the Rossoneri on the counter-attack.
The teams are back and the second half is just moments away...
FULL-TIME: AC MILAN 0-1 SAMPDORIA
Luis Muriel's penalty was enough to give Sampdoria their first victory over AC Milan since August 2012 and inflict a fourth straight defeat for the Rossoneri, who dominated proceedings but severely lacked the cutting edge with any chances that fell their way and were made to pay.
That's all from the San Siro! Thank you for following our LIVE coverage of the 2016/17 Serie A season - hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time, see you soon!
