And that's it full time - Celtic 6-1 Kilmarnock! A walk in the park for Celtic.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of further misery for Kilmarnock to endure.
89'
OVER! Once again Scott Brown tries to join the party but doesn't have his shooting boots on. The former Scotland international has really dictated things from the middle of midfield but in truth he hasn't had much opposition.
87'
Celtic certainly aren't settling for six by any means as they continue to press forward. Roberts nearly lays one on a plate for Griffiths but it is well cut out.
85'
T. Rogić has scored a goal for Celtic! Assist by J. Forrest.
Rogić makes it 6-1! This is officially a rout now and he certainly deserves a goal today but it is a bit of a scruffy one. A low and not particularly powrful shot bobbles into the bottom corner, not one MacDonald will want to look back on.
Forrest again links up with his fellow midfielder Rogic to give the scoreline the sort of gloss it warrants.
83'
Celtic continuing to prod and probe and open up this Kilmarnock defence. Rodgers will be really pleased with how his side have moved the ball this afternoon.
81'
Kilmarnock must be desperate for the final whistle at this stage. It has been like an attack vs defence training ground exercise in the last few minutes
79'
L. Morrison enters the game and replaces R. McKenzie.
Killie make their third and final change with Rory McKenzie coming off for Lewis Morrison.
78'
Roberts is absolutely tormenting Greg Taylor on the Celtic right, twisting and turning the Kilmarnock defender inside out before standing the ball up at the back post for Forrest, who gets a shot away but it is blocked well.
77'
OVER! Roberts who had started on the right-wing pops up on the left and gets to the byline before cutting the ball back to Rogic who looks to steer it home but blazes it over the bar.
Minute
Description
75'
SHOT! Adams does well to fashion a bit of space on the top of the 'D' and gets a low shot away but it is straight down the throat of Craig Gordon in the Celtic goal.
73'
P. Roberts enters the game and replaces S. Sinclair.
Sinclair's work is done and he will be replaced by the very exciting young prospect Patrick Roberts. It is a real luxury for Celtic to be able to give the likes of Dembele and Griffiths a breather.
72'
Penalty goal scored by S. Sinclair for Celtic!
G. Taylor gets yellow.
Sinclair does make it six in a row! Griffiths graciously allowed his teammate to take the penalty and Sinclair made no mistake from twelve yards, sending MacDonald the wrong way. Excellent finish.
The returning Greg Taylor made a very silly tackle and gave the referee absolutely no option but to award the penalty. Things going from bad to worse for Killie.
71'
PENALTY! Celtic will have the chance to make it 5-1. Leigh Griffiths is upended and the referee pointed to the spot without hesitation.
69'
Scott Brown has come off worse after a clash of heades in the middle of the park. The Celtic captain is bloodied but unbowed and will carry on with a fresh jersey without his name and number on the back.
66'
L. Griffiths has scored a goal for Celtic! Assist by J. Šimunović.
SAVE! Tierney gallops forward from left-back and is played in by Griffiths, he tries to fire it in at the near post but MacDonald does well to beat it away.
Šimunović thought he had scored when he met Sinclair's outswinging corner but it was turned home by the Celtic number 9!
Well it didn't take long for the Celtic talisman to get in on the act. This is a real poacher's effort nodding home just infront of the goalkeeper.
65'
L. Griffiths enters the game and replaces M. Dembélé.
It is indeed Moussa Dembélé who is withdrawn to a standing ovation from the Celtic Park faithful. Leigh Griffiths will fancy adding to his goal tally in what remains of this match, plenty of time to get on the scoresheet.
63'
OVER! Nearly the perfect hat-trick for Dembele as he hangs in the air to meet yet another Tierney cross but the ball lands on the top of the net rather than the back of it. That might be his final chance as Leigh Griffiths is preparing to enter the fray.
62'
Sinclair tries to play Dembele in but this time they rather get their wires crossed and Kilmarnock are able to mop up at the back.
60'
The movement and understanding between Rogic, Sinclair and Dembele really has been excellent this afternoon, they've not given the Kilmarnock defence a moment's peace. The away side can't get any respite as Celtic are winning absolutely every loose ball.
58'
Celtic are really trying to press home their advantage and improve their goal difference. If things stay the same way it is very hard to see them not adding to their lead.
56'
SAVE! Rogic once again shows good feet on the edge of the box before unleashing a rasping drive with his left foot. MacDonald is right behind it and parries it away to safety.
54'
C. Adams gets yellow.
Charlee Adams is booked after a late challenge. The substitute is perhaps the victim of a totting up process from the referee with some of Adams' teammates guilty of persistent fouling.
53'
J. Jones enters the game and replaces N. Tyson.
Tyson, who has been totally anonymous all afternoon is replaced by Jordan Jones.
52'
J. Forrest has scored a goal for Celtic! Assist by T. Rogić.
Rogić, who has been excellent all game and caps his good performance with an assist. Playing a delightful one-two with Forrest.
It's 3-1 now! Lovely football from Celtic. Excellent interplay between Rogic and Forrest on the right wing with the latter tip-toeing inside before poking a low shot into the bottom corner.
50'
Celtic have begun the second half in the same manner in which they finished the first. Moving the ball quickly and trying to get this third goal which will surely finish this match as a contest.
48'
C. Adams enters the game and replaces D. Hawkshaw.
Dean Hawkshaw has been in the wars today and it looks that on this occasion he will be unable to continue after clashing in a 50-50 tackle with Rogic. Charlee Adams comes on to replace him not to be confused with Stoke's Charlie Adam.
46'
C. Gordon enters the game and replaces D. de Vries.
Can only think that De Vries must have picked up an injury in the first half and he is replaced by Craig Gordon.
Kilmarnock get the match restarted for the second half.
45' +2
And that's half-time here at Celtic Park. Celtic 2-1 Kilmarnock.
45'
Kris Boyd gets goal side of his man for the first time this afternoon and tries to hook a cross come shot to the far post but the former Rangers striker is flagged offside.
44'
Sinclair uses his pace and trickery to drive at the heart of the Kilmarnock defence and is seemingly brought down right on the edge of the area but the referee is having none of it and waves play on.
42'
Dicker tries to swap shirts with Rogic and the referee gives a free-kick after trying to play an advantage. Celtic work the ball wide and the cross finds its way to Dembele who holds the ball up well before teeing it up for Bitton who slashes his effort into Row Z!
40'
Going ahead almost seems like the worse thing Kilmarnock could have done as it seems to have brought Celtic to life. If the visitors can get into the half-time interval only one down then that won't be a bad result as things stand.
38'
M. Dembélé has scored a goal for Celtic! Assist by K. Tierney.
Kieran Tierney showed great composure to cut the ball back for the prolific Dembele. The left-back has been a great outlet all afternoon for the home side.
The turn around is complete! 2-1 to Celtic! Moussa Dembélé this time finishes with his left foot high into the roof of the net. When a striker is in such good form and high in confidence they make these types of goal look so, so easy.
35'
M. Dembélé has scored a goal for Celtic! Assist by M. Lustig.
A deflection fell kindly for Mikael Lustig who played an intelligent ball into the six-yard box and Dembele was where every good striker should be to turn the ball home.
GOAL! 1-1 Kilmarnock's lead was short lived. Moussa Dembélé was alive in the penalty area and fired a close range finish into the top corner. Excellent response from the Bhoys!
34'
Celtic Park is in a state of total shock. It has been nigh on total domination since the game started yet they find themselves behind.
32'
S. Coulibaly has scored a goal for Kilmarnock! Assist by G. Dicker.
What a goal from Souleymane Coulibaly! The young Ivory Coast striker scores a simply outrageous goal from all of 35 yards. Coulibaly cuts inside onto his right foot and unleashes a swerving, dipping effort that beats De Vries all ends up. Sensational!
Assist Gary Dicker played a simple ball inside to Coulibaly and I'm sure he couldn't have predicted what would happen next. Unbelievable.
30'
CHANCE! Kilmarnock's first sight of goal and perhaps they should have done better with it. Taylor puts in a decent cross that Nathan Tyson does well to keep alive, he lays the ball off to Hawkshaw but he can't keep his shot down.
28'
Killie finally having something resembling a period of possession, which will come as a welcome relief to the away side. Coulibaly tries to get an attack going but it is snuffed out and Celtic are able to clear their lines.
26'
Former Tottenham Hotspur youngster Coulibaly rather lunges into a challenge with Rogic and is lucky to get away without a caution there. It looked like a rather rash tackle.
24'
SAVE! Sinclair creates some space for himself inside the penalty area and gets a shot away with his right foot but it is too central and easily gathered in.
22'
WIDE! Skipper Scott Brown plays the ball out wide to Tierney and goes for the return which is played perfectly back into his path. Brown tries to sidefoot the ball into the bottom corner but miscues it slightly and it won't trouble the 'keeper.
20'
The visitors are defending manfully but you really do wonder how long they can hold out for? It's been backs to the wall stuff since the kick off really.
18'
Rogic is showing great close control and nifty footwork in these opening exchanges and this time he dances past a couple of challenges before slipping the ball through to Dembele. The Celtic striker rather gets the ball stuck under his feet and Kilmarnock recover to put yet another block in.
16'
Scott Sinclair makes a really intelligent run into the left hand channel and well found. The former Aston Villa man tries to cut the ball back for the onrushing Dembele but the pass is well cut out.
15'
Tierney does really well to get up and support the play from his left back position and forces a corner. Celtic take it quickly and Tierney helps the ball into the box towards the back post but Killie manage to smuggle the ball clear.
13'
Rogic plays a lovely reverse pass into the path of Forrest who then cut inside onto his left foot and tries to pick out the top corner but can't quite manage it and the ball curls over. Celtic getting closer...
12'
Hawkshaw has had to have some treatment for a head injury but seems fine to continue. Lee Clark continues to bark instructions at his players from the technical area.
10'
Celtic are moving the ball crisply and quickly from left to right in an attempt to move Kilmarnock out of their shape. This time it is Scott Brown who tries his luck from outside the area but he can't find the target. Ten minutes in and the pattern for this game is well and truly set.
8'
Killie with ten men behind the ball as you expect and they will need to show a great deal of organisation and determination to keep this Celtic team out. A sustained period of patient possession ends with Bitton taking on a shot from distance but it is straight at the goalkeeper. Never really threatening.
6'
SHOT! Dembele does really well to fashion a chance purely of his own making. Showing great strength to shake off the defender, he tries to curl a right-footed shot into the top corner but doesn't quite catch it right and it sails wide.
3'
Lively start from the Bhoys as you might expect. Scott Sinclair almost opening the scoring but can't keep his left footed shot down and he slices it high over the crossbar!
1'
And we are underway at Celtic Park!
Good afternoon and welcome to Celtic Park for this Scottish Premier League contest between Celtic and Kilmarnock. We'll be guiding you through all the action today.
Brendan Rodgers is able to call upon Leigh Griffiths for the first time in four matches as the forward returns after calf and hamstring injuries. The Celtic manager will have half an eye on Wednesday's huge Champions League clash with Manchester City with his team selection in mind.
As for Lee Clark he welcomes back Greg Taylor after suspension. Dapo Kayode, Greg Kiltie and Miles Addison almost ready to return but this game comes just too soon for these three. Killie skipper Steven Smith will be missing for about a month after undergoing ankle surgery.
The team news is in and we'll start with our hosts Celtic...
CELTIC XI (4-2-3-1): De Vries; Lustig, Sviatchenko, Simunovic, Tierney; Brown (c), Bitton; Forrest, Rogic, Sinclair; Dembele.
CELTIC SUBS: Gordon, Toure, Griffiths, Gamboa, Armstrong, Roberts and McGregor.
KILMARNOCK SUBS: Mackay, Boyle, Adams, M.Smith, Frizzell, Jones and Morrison.
Kilmarnock have drawn their last three league games and face a daunting task to go one better against the league champions this afternoon. Celtic themselves come into this encounter on the back of a 2-2 draw away against Inverness last time out after winning their first five games of the league campaign.
The players are making their way out onto the pitch and the atmosphere is building up nicely as kick-off is fast approaching.
Brendan Rodgers will be pretty happy with most of what he has seen in this opening forty-five minutes here at Celtic Park. His side were stunned by a wonder goal by Coulibaly but responded in excellent fashion and quickly turned things around to go into the break deservedly ahead. Dembele is making himself almost undroppable at the moment and Leigh Griffiths will have a job on his hands to get back into the start line-up. It would be very harsh if the former Fulham striker didn't start against Manchester City on Wednesday.
On the other hand if Celtic make it 3-1 sooner rather than later then Brendan Rodgers may choose to give a couple of players a rest ahead of the Champions League game midweek. Can Dembele score another perfect hat-trick in the second half? Scott Sinclair is also looking to make history by being the first Celtic player to score in their first six league games. Kilmarnock are back out and Celtic aren't far behind them.
Kilmarnock probably surprised themselves by going into the lead and Lee Clark will be very pleased with the desire and commitment his players have shown so far. Unfortunately, going into the lead seemed to spark Celtic into life and the visitors will have been disappointed to concede a goal just three minutes after going infront. From then on a second goal seemed inevitable. If Killie can keep it tight for the first ten minutes or so after half-time they may fancy their chances of snatching an unlikely point here today.
So in the end it was a comfortable and comprehensive victory for the home side and they will go into Wednesday Champions League game with high-flying Manchester City in bouyant mood. Incredibly, it was Kilmarnock who took the lead and you couldn't even say it was from a rare attack as it was a goal of the season contender out of absolutely nothing that gave them a short lived lead. It merely galvanised Celtic into action and once they equalised the final result was never in doubt.
Lee Clark will rue his sides inability to hold onto the lead but in truth his team were simply outclassed in every area of the pitch. Kilmarnock showed admirable grit and guts but couldn't withstand the onslaught of pressure. But for some heroic last ditch tackles and blocks it could have been even worse for the visitors. Fortunately, they don't have to face the calibre of player Celtic have at their disposal every week.
Celtic should be encouraged by the fact that they have competition for places in key areas. They were relentless, particularly in the second half and didn't allow the game to drift. They subjected Kilmarnock to wave after wave of attacks. Dembele, Rogic, Forrest and Griffiths will get the plaudits for their goals but Kieran Tierney deserves a special mention, the left back was superb and provided plenty of ammunition for his forwards to thrive on.
That's all we've got time for today. We hope you enjoyed this exciting match! Thanks for joining us and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
