GOAL! Spain have confirmed the win with what will surely be the last kick of the game! They come back at Bosnia, with Suarez and Williams once again playing an important role in the attacking move. This time it's the latter who gets a shot away from the edge of the box, but it's one that Begovic does well to stop with an acrobatic save to his left. The goalkeeper can only parry the ball out to Pedro, however, and the Chelsea midfielder is easily able to tap the ball into the back of the net from close range to make it 3-1 with only a few second left to play.
90' +2
Suarez almost wraps up the win! Spain move the ball around patiently before Williams tees up Oyarzabal with a little dinked pass into the Bosnia penalty area. The Real Sociedad midfielder immediately cuts the ball back to Suarez, who is in a great position in front of goal, but just as he's about to shoot he's dispossessed by a well-timed sliding tackle from Kolasinac, who did well to dart across the box so quickly.
90'
S. Memišević enters the game and replaces O. Vranješ.
Substitution Ognjen Vranješ Samir Memišević
The fourth official has indicated that there will be four minutes of added time.
88'
Bellerin breaks down the right wing before cutting inside and teeing up Williams. The young midfielder then weaves his way towards the edge of the penalty area before trying to beat three Bosnia defenders, but he's quickly closed down and is unable to do so. Bosnia then try to kick-start a quick counter-attack through Duljevic down the right wing, but the Sarajevo midfielder's final touch is poor and sends the ball out for a goal-kick.
86'
Pjanic and Hajrovic link up well on the edge of the Spain penalty area before the Roma midfielder tees up Besic on the right wing. The Everton man is sent slightly wide but does well to knock the ball off the leg of Azpilicueta and out for a corner. The set-piece is wasted by Hajrovic, however, as he swings a poor cross towards the near post that fails to find a teammate and instead ends up flying straight into the side-netting.
84'
What a chance for Oyarzabal! Azpilicueta bursts down the left wing on a brilliant run before cutting inside and sending an even better low cross over towards the back post. It looks as if Kolasinac is going to be able to deal with the danger, but the Real Sociedad teenager dives in front of him before poking a close-range just a yard or so wide of the near post.
83'
Pablo Fornals enters the game and replaces San José.
Substitution Mikel San José Domínguez Pablo Fornals Malla
82'
Spain continue to come back at Bosnia before Pjanic dives into Pedro and sends the attacking midfielder crashing to the ground, resulting in a free-kick for Spain 30 yards away from the Bosnian goal. The Chelsea man steps up and curls a beautiful cross into the heart of the penalty area, where it beats every blue shirt before falling into the path of Williams, but the youngster misses making contact with the ball by the narrowest of margins.
80'
After spending the last five minutes firmly on the back foot, Spain are finally able to get back on the ball and take the sting out of the game slightly. Williams and Bruno pass the ball between themselves before the latter sends a lofted pass over the Bosnia defence and into the path of Pedro, who had made a good run into the left-hand side of the box, but, despite his best efforts, the Chelsea man is unable to make contact with it and the ball ends up bouncing out of play for a goal-kick.
78'
S. Grahovac enters the game and replaces M. Đurić.
Substitution Milan Đurić Srđan Grahovac
It's all Bosnia at the moment as they continue to put Spain under plenty of pressure, but they just can't seem to find a way through their opponents' back line. They're doing well to hold on to the ball in advanced positions but can't seem to turn possession into chances on goal, which is making life increasingly easy for Vicente del Bosque's men.

Description
76'
Hajrovic is starting to find an increasing amount of joy down the right flank as Bosnia push further forward in search of an equaliser. This time he takes on and beats Bartra after going one-on-one with the defender near to the corner flag, but the referee quickly blows for a free-kick for Spain after judging that the centre-back had been fouled. It looked to be a harsh decision, however, particularly as Hajrovic was just about to penetrate the box when the whistle was blown.
74'
What an opportunity for Oyarzabal to make it 3-1! A beautiful lofted pass is sent over the Bosnia back line and into the penalty area, where it finds the youngster completely unmarked in front of goal. He brings the ball down wonderfully before taking on Begovic, but he can only side-foot his close-range strike a yard or so wide of the far post after beating the Chelsea goalkeeper.
72'
Another Spain attack breaks down deep inside the Bosnia half of the pitch, and the latter side immediately fly forward on a great counter down the right wing. Hajrovic runs almost the entire length of the pitch before trying to cut into the penalty area, but just as he's about to do so he's stopped by the outstretched foot of Azpilicueta.
70'
Djuric goes close again! Kolasinac stays camped deep inside the Spain half of the pitch after a Bosnia corner, and he's on hand to whip in a cross from the left wing that the Spain centre-backs are unable to fully deal with. It bounces past three white shirts before almost falling to Djuric, but, despite his best efforts, the striker is unable to make contact with the ball on the edge of the six-yard box.
68'
What a strike by Duljevic! A half-hearted Spain attacking move breaks down, allowing Bosnia to hit them with a great counter. They work the ball around brilliantly before Pjanic cuts inside and sets up the number 23, whose first-time, side-footed shot from just outside of the penalty area beats Asenjo before bouncing just an inch or two wide of the far post. What a goal that would have been!
67'
H. Medunjanin enters the game and replaces A. Hadžić.
Substitution Anel Hadžić Haris Medunjanin
66'
Djuric hits the post! Duljevic, who has made a great impact after coming on to the pitch, twists and turns down the left wing before swinging a beautiful cross into the middle of the Spain penalty area. The big striker launches himself towards the ball and is just about able to send a glancing header over towards the bottom right-hand corner of the net, but it ends up deflecting off the woodwork after beating the outstretched arm of Asenjo.
64'
Bellerin and Duljevic battle for the ball deep down the right flank after the former tries to latch on to a deft through-ball. He's almost able to reach the pass near to the byline, but the substitute once again shows good defensive instincts and barges the Arsenal full-back out of the way before playing the ball off his shine and out for a Bosnia throw-in.
62'
Bosnia quickly win back possession and continue to try and find joy down the right wing. This time it's Hajrovic, who does well to get himself into an advantageous position before trying to swing a cross into the Spain penalty area, but his final touch is poor and Azpilicueta is able to outmuscle his opponent before shepherding the ball out of play for a goal-kick.
60'
Diego Llorente enters the game and replaces Cesc Fàbregas.
Mikel Oyarzabal enters the game and replaces Nolito.
I. Williams enters the game and replaces Marco Asensio.
Substitution Manuel Agudo Durán Mikel Oiarzabal Ugarte
Substitution Francesc Fàbregas i Soler Diego Javier Llorente Ríos
Substitution Marco Asensio Willemsen Iñaki Williams Dannis
Duljevic sits deep and defends well, which allows Bosnia to kick-start a counter-attack from just in front of their own penalty area. They work the ball around nicely before Besic picks up the ball on the right wing, but the midfielder is quickly crowded out by white shirts and is forced into spinning and playing the ball back into his own half of the pitch instead of continuing to charge forward.
58'
Spain keep coming back at Bosnia before Pedro threads a lovely pass into the left-hand side of the penalty area, but Vranjes is there to cut out the danger before poking the ball back to Begovic, who then thumps it up the pitch. It pinballs around before falling to Duljevic, but the substitute is fouled just as he's about to penetrate the opposition's half of the pitch. The free-kick fails to result in a chance on goal, however, and Spain are easily able to regain possession.
57'
H. Duljević enters the game and replaces A. Hodžić.
Substitution Armin Hodžić Haris Duljević
56'
It's all become a bit sloppy for Spain, who are continuing to see a lot of the ball but, due to compact defending from Bosnia, have been forced into launching lofted passes forward. This time it's Fabregas who tries to pick out a teammate with a hopeful ball into the penalty area, but it's completely mishit and sails straight into the hands of Begovic.
54'
After starting the second half on the back foot, Spain are now enjoying the vast majority of possession as they patiently pass the ball around inside the Bosnia half of the pitch. Suarez then tries to penetrate the penalty area after finding himself in a pocket of space just outside of the box, but he's quickly closed down by two blue shirts before being muscled off the ball by Vranjes.
52'
Spain pile forward and put Bosnia under a lot of pressure after being taken by surprise by their opponents' strong start to the half. Pedro, who has already made an impact since coming off the substitutes' bench, links up well with Bellerin on the edge of the penalty area before the two try to play a quick one-two with one another, but the defender's back-heel can only find a blue shirt inside the box.
50'
Another great stop by Asenjo! Bosnia have started the second half brilliantly and are continually putting Spain under an incredible amount of pressure. This time it's Djuric who goes one-on-one with the goalkeeper after breaking through the disjointed defensive line and penetrating the penalty area, but the debutant stands tall and keeps out the striker's low shot with a great save at the near post.
48'
Brave goalkeeping by Asenjo! Spain are caught out at the back and a lofted pass forward causes them all sorts of problems on the edge of their own penalty area. Hajrovic is able to dart forward on a great run before going one-on-one with the Villarreal goalkeeper, but he darts out and thumps away a bouncing ball before being clattered into by the substitute.
46'
I. Hajrović enters the game and replaces E. Višća.
Denis Suárez enters the game and replaces David Silva.
Pedro enters the game and replaces Aduriz.
Substitution Edin Višća Izet Hajrović
Substitution David Josué Jiménez Silva Denis Suárez Fernández
Substitution Aritz Aduriz Zubeldia Pedro Eliezer Rodríguez Ledesma
And we're underway once again!
45' +1
E. Spahić goes off after a red card!
O. Vranješ gets yellow.
RED CARD! It's only a friendly, but it's all kicking off on the pitch! Silva and Vranjes have a coming together deep down the left wing after the latter tries to stop the former from taking a quick throw-in. A fracas then starts that involves several players from both sides, and Spahic comes running in from out of nowhere before pushing both Azpilicueta and Fabregas in the face. The Chelsea midfielder immediately turns to the referee and screams for a dismissal, and the man in charge does exactly that by giving the Bosnia centre-back his marching orders. He doesn't look at all happy with the decision but he can't have any complaints!
Vranjes has also received a yellow card for being the instigator of the argument.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be just one minute of added time.
44'
Chance for Djuric! Zukanovic charges down the left wing on a great run before cutting inside and firing a low pass along the edge of the penalty area. It misses Pjanic but ends up falling to Djuric, but the striker's first-time shot doesn't quite have enough power behind it and it ends up deflecting off the leg of San Jose and away from danger. Bosnia are starting to get closer to finding an equaliser!
42'
A poor attempted pass from San Jose almost causes plenty of problems for his side after it's only able to find the feet of Pjanic. The attacking midfielder immediately tries to take advantage of the mistake by trying to tee up Djuric with a quick through-ball, but the Spain centre-back is able to atone for his error with a great interception at the vital moment.
40'
Bosnia are starting to look far better every time they push forward, as Spain are sitting slightly deeper than they were earlier in the game and allowing their opponents to spend more time on the ball. The two full-backs are also starting to push increasing further forward, which is starting to test Azpilicueta and Bellerin as they desperately look to hold on to their slender lead.
38'
A lofted pass forward finds Aduriz near to the halfway line, and the striker does well to hold up the ball and out-muscle Spahic before spinning and winning his side a corner. The set-piece fails to result in a chance on goal, but Spain come back once again and work the ball over to Asensio on the right-hand side of the box. He immediately chips a great cross straight into the feet of Aduriz, but his first-time volley ends up clearing the top of the crossbar by several yards.
36'
Vranjes looks to have picked up a slight injury after falling awkwardly whilst battling with Silva. The game has to be stopped momentarily as the right-back receives medical treatment, but after a few moments on the ground he's able to get back to his feet and continue once again.
35'
What a tackle by Vranjes! A terrible pass from Besic gifts the ball straight to Nolito, who immediately bursts towards the edge of the Bosnia penalty area. He then tees up Silva with a great pass over to his left, but the full-back is there to dispossess the Manchester City attacking mdifielder before he's able to unleash a shot from 15 yards out.
33'
Bosnia patiently work the ball around near to the halfway line before Pjanic plays a great one-two with Djuric on the edge of the Spain penalty area. The Roma attacking midfielder then sprays a pass out to Zukanovic before curling a dangerous cross towards the back post. It's well hit and looks as if it could find one of the three blue shirts charging towards it, but Asenjo is there to cut out the danger at the vital moment.
31'
Straight from the restart, Spain work the ball around quickly in an attempt to try and reestablish their two-goal lead. Asensio gets himself into a good position deep inside the Bosnia half of the pitch and is almost able to penetrate the penalty area and go one-on-one with Begovic, but Kolasinac is just about able to stick out a foot to send the ball looping up into the air and back to his goalkeeper, who is then able to deal with the danger.
29'
E. Spahić has scored a goal for Bosnia-Herzegovina! Assist by M. Pjanić.
Assist Miralem Pjanić
GOAL! Bosnia have pulled one back! Hadzic breaks down the left flank before swinging a dangerous cross into the middle of the Spain penalty area, and it's one that Bartra and San Jose struggling to deal with. As a result, the ball bounces over to Visca, who skips towards the byline before earning his side a corner. Pjanic steps up and flings a beautiful cross straight on to the head of Spahic, who rises above Bartra with ease before nodding the ball past Asenjo.
27'
Bosnia are currently enjoying a good spell of possession inside the Spain half of the pitch, but no matter what they try and do they just can't seem to find a way through the sea of white shirts camped in front of them. Spain have looked particularly impressive at the other side of the pitch but they also seem well organised at the back, and it's causing their opponents plenty of problems whenever they try to push forward.
25'
Nolito does well to charge down the left wing on a great run before cutting inside and finding himself in a pocket of space. He takes a quick look at what's ahead of him and then attempts to swing a cross on to the head of Aduriz, who is in a good position in front of goal, but the winger's pass ends up being a poor one and is easily cut out by Spahic inside the box.
23'
Nolito almost makes it 3-0! A cross from left causes the Bosnia defence all types of problems, and they're unable to fully clear the danger despite being presented with plenty of time to do so. The ball pinballs around the penalty area before falling to Nolito, who then tries to half-volley a strike into the bottom right-hand corner of the net, but it's sent slightly too near to Begovic and the Chelsea goalkeeper is able to keep out the shot with a strong diving save.
22'
M. Đurić enters the game and replaces E. Džeko.
Dzeko seems to be struggling with an injury, so he's replaced by Djuric after lasting for little more than 20 minutes.
20'
Asensio embarks on a great run down the left wing as he twists and turns his way towards the edge of the penalty area, but he's brought crashing to the ground by Spahic before he can penetrate the box, and Spain are awarded a free-kick in a very dangerous position. Fabregas steps up and tries to beat Begovic at the near post with a low shot, but it takes a slight deflection off the wall that sends it rolling marginally wide of its intended target.
18'
Nolito has scored a goal for Spain! Assist by Cesc Fàbregas.
Assist Francesc Fàbregas i Soler
GOAL! What a strike by Nolito! Bosnia are in sixes and sevens at the back, and they don't look at all comfortable whenever Spain push forward. First, a low cross from the right is poorly cleared and fails to find its way out of the penalty area, instead falling to the feet of Besic. The defensive midfielder sleeps on the ball and fails to clear the danger before being dispossessed by Fabregas, who then pokes a pass over to Nolito, and the winger takes advantage of slow defending to chip a beautiful shot over the head of Begovic and into the back of the net. What a start for Spain!
17'
After losing possession deep inside the Spain half of the pitch, Bosnia are almost caught out by a lofted pass down the right wing. Bellerin charges forward to try and meet it but ends up being beaten to the ball by Kolasinac, who is just about able to poke it out of play for a corner. The set-piece is poorly hit, however, and fails to beat the first man at the near post.
15'
Bosnia quickly lose the ball and gift possession back to Spain, who revert to patiently passing the ball around as they try to find a way into their opponents' box. Nolito then goes one-on-one with Vranjes once again as they battle for the ball deep down the left flank, but this time the winger ends up fouling the defender and gives away a free-kick to Bosnia near to the corner flag.
13'
It's all Spain at the moment as they patiently work the ball around deep inside the Bosnia half of the pitch. Asensio tries to penetrate the penalty area with a marauding run forward, but he's stopped by a sea of blue shirts and has to spin before finding Fabregas. The Chelsea midfielder then attempts to thread a lovely through-ball into the path of Bellerin, who had made a great run down the right flank, but Begovic reads the pass well and is there to cut out the danger at the required moment.
11'
Nolito has scored a goal for Spain!
GOAL! Spain have taken an early lead! The corner is taken short before a poor cross is whipped towards the near post, where only Dzeko is waiting. The striker is under very little pressure but sends his attempted clearance straight into the feet of Nolito, who controls the ball perfectly before curling a beautiful side-footed strike past the outstretched limbs of Begovic and into the top right-hand corner of the net.
10'
Nolito weaves his way down the left flank and cuts into the Bosnia box before playing a one-two with Silva, but Visca is just about able to poke in front of the Spaniard to stop him from whipping a cross towards Aduriz, giving away a corner in the process.
8'
Nolito and Vranjes battle for the ball deep down the left wing after a turnover in play, which came as a result of a well-timed tackle on Pjanic midway inside the Spain half of the pitch. The Spanish winger looks to have got the better off the full-back before trying to cut towards the near post, but the defender stands firm and does well to tap the ball off the leg of his opponent and out for a goal-kick.
6'
Aduriz tries to break through the disjointed Bosnia back line to latch on to a lofted pass forward, but he slightly mistimes his run and is flagged offside. The resulting free-kick is then taken short and worked towards the halfway line, where it finds Besic, but the Everton midfielder's long ball into the Spain box is far too powerful and misses Dzeko before bouncing into the hands of Asenjo.
4'
After spending the first few minutes of the game on the back foot, Bosnia are finally able to push forward after patiently working their way into the Spain half of the pitch. They do well to win themselves a corner on the right wing, which is then flung in to the heart of the penalty area, but it's easily dealt with by their opponents. Bartra then tries to tee up Nolito with a thumping lofted pass down the left wing, but it's overhit and comfortably bounces out of play for a goal-kick.
2'
What a chance for Aduriz to open the scoring! Spain immediately embark on a great attacking move down the left wing through Nolito, who weaves down the flank before swinging a cross into the Bosnia box. It's beautifully hit and finds the Athletic Bilbao striker with perfection, but his close-range, first-time strike is somehow parried away by a strong save from Begovic.
1'
And we're off! Spain get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s international friendly game between Spain and Bosnia-Herzegovina at the AFG Arena.
Today’s clash is Vicente del Bosque’s last chance to look at his Spain squad before having to trim it down to 23 players by the May 31st deadline. Last night’s fiercely fought Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid means that several fringe players will be given an opportunity to shine here in Switzerland, with Sergio Asenjo, Hector Bellerin and Marco Asensio all set to make their senior debuts. Del Bosque will be without the likes of Sergio Ramos, Isco, Juanfran and Koke, but that has paved the way for the 10 uncapped and highly-rated players who have been called up for all of the pre-Euro 2016 friendlies. Whilst it is unlikely that any of them will make it into the final 23-man squad, today’s game nonetheless presents them with a great opportunity to impress their boss. Despite the absence of several big names, Del Bosque still has plenty of talent to choose from for what could prove to be his side’s toughest test before this summer’s competition gets underway.
In stark contrast to his opposite number, Bosnia boss Mehmed Bazdarevic has all of his big-name players available for selection, with the likes of Asmir Begovic, Muhamed Besic, Miralem Pjanic and Edin Dzeko all set to feature. Today’s game is one of two encounters facing the Dragons over the course of the next week, but, unlike Spain, they are not preceding a Euro 2016 appearance, as a 3-1 defeat on aggregate against the Republic of Ireland in a play-off sent Bosnia crashing out of the qualifiers and denied them the opportunity to feature in their first ever European Championship final. As a result, Bazdarevic’s sights will be set on the squad for their 2018 World Cup qualifying games, which kicks off at home to Estonia at the start at September.
Spain were held to a goalless draw by Romania in their last friendly encounter little over two months ago, but they head into today’s clash in great form. Only one of their last 11 games has ended in a defeat (a 2-0 loss away to the Netherlands last March), whilst they have looked incredibly solid at the back, only conceding two goals in the past 11 months. As for Bosnia, they too start the day in good form thanks to back-to-back wins against Luxembourg and Switzerland in their previous two friendlies. They also impressed with a victory against Wales during their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign, and they will be looking to continue that good form with a strong showing here today.
Spain XI (4-3-3): Asenjo; Bellerin, San Jose, Bartra, Azpilicueta; Fabregas, Bruno, Silva; Nolito, Aduriz, Asensio.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Meanwhile, Bosnia boss Mehmed Bazdarevic has made just two alterations to the side that featured in their last outing against Switzerland, with Anel Hadzic and Armin Hodzic coming into the squad to replace Senad Lulic and Vedad Ibisevic, respectively.
Vicente del Bosque has decided to make eight changes to the Spain side that started the goalless draw away to Romania in March, with only Marc Bartra, David Silva and Nolito retaining their places in a heavily altered line-up. Sergio Asenjo, Hector Bellerin and Marco Asesnio are all set to make their senior debuts tonight, whilst Bruno Soriano starts an international game for the first time since November 2014.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: SPAIN 2-1 BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA
An unsavoury end to the first half means that Bosnia will have to play with 10 players for the remainder of the game, and just as they were starting to look bright in front of goal. After having to delal with a difficult opening 20 minutes, they did well to come back into the game and start to cause the Spain back line problems, with Vranjes and Zukanovic looking particularly good down the flanks. However, a moment of madness from Spahic left the referee with no choice but to show him a straight red card, meaning that it's going to be an uphill battle for them from now on.
The two teams are making their way back out onto the pitch ahead of the start of the second half.
FULL-TIME: SPAIN 3-1 BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA
As soon as the game gets underway once again, the referee brings it to an end with the final whistle of the evening. Overall, it was a relatively easy contest for Spain, who were presented with few problems by a Bosnia team that struggled to find much joy in front of goal. The first 15 minutes of the second half brought with them purposeful play from Mehmed Bazdarevic's men, but Spain quickly dropped deeper and continued to press their opponents to stop them from turning possession into chances on goal. Djuric went close on a couple of occasions, but his chances were few and far between and they failed to cause too many problems for Spain, who did what was required to continue their impressive unbeaten run.
