The subsequent delivery is fairly poor once again, however, and the referee swiftly blows the final whistle.
90' +3
L. Cigarini gets yellow.
Cigarini concedes a free kick deep inside his own half. He is booked but that will be the least of his worries if Inter snatch a winner here...
90' +1
Inter continue to push as they force a couple of corners. Atalanta hold their nerve well, though, as they deal with both deliveries accordingly.
90'
The fourth official holds up his board to indicate that there will be four minutes of stoppage time at the end of this game.
88'
We are into the final two minutes of normal time with the match still all square at one apiece. Can either side find a winner?...
85'
A. Diamanti enters the game and replaces P. Gómez.
Atalanta's final change sees Alessandro Diamanti come on for his debut. Gomez is given a breather by Reja.
84'
R. Palacio enters the game and replaces S. Jovetić.
WHAT A CHANCE! Atalanta could have won the game there and then as Monachello peeled away at the far post. He was unable to keep his volley down, however, and sent it over the bar.
Inter make their final change of the day, as Palacio comes on in place of Jovetic.
83'
Another change from Atalanta sees Kurtič make way to be replaced by Giulio Migliaccio.

Minute
Description
79'
Jovetic embarks on a jinking run into the heart of the Atalanta defence. He is brought down right on the edge of the area and Inter have a free kick.
77'
Will there be a winner in this game? It is a very tough match to call with both teams producing good attacking football, but it is more a question of who will take their chance should it arrive.
74'
G. Bellini enters the game and replaces A. Conti.
Atalanta make their first change of the afternoon, with Conti going off to be replaced by Gianpaolo Bellini.
72'
END TO END STUFF! Handanovic collects an Atalanta corner at one end before a quick long throw launches a counter attack at the other. Biabiany delivers a dangerous cross, but Handanovic does well to gather.
70'
J. Biabiany enters the game and replaces Alex Telles.
Another change from Inter sees Alex Telles make way to be replaced by Jonathan Biabiany.
69'
There is another break in play as Cigarini goes down clutching his ankle following a strong challenge from Telles. It will be interesting to see if he can shake this off.
67'
Another good spell of play from the visitors sees the ball neatly lifted over the Atalanta defence for Icardi to run onto. He catches his volley sweetly, but sends it way over the bar.
66'
In a rare Inter attack, Perisic delivers a decent cross from the left looking for Icardi. The striker can only slice the ball straight into the air, though, and Sportiello gathers.
65'
Atalanta continue to enjoy the majority of possession in this second half. They are spending a lot of time deep inside Inter territory, but need to turn all this pressure into a goal at the very least.
63'
Gomez whips a dangerous delivery into the heart of the penalty area, but Inter show good alertness to clear the danger.
62'
D. D'Ambrosio gets yellow.
D'Ambrosio has his name taken after conceding a free kick right on the edge of his own penalty area. This is another good chance for Atalanta...
61'
Inter are indebted to Handanovic should they go on to win this game. That was goalkeeping of the highest quality from the Inter number one.
59'
HOW DID THAT STAY OUT?! A long ball into the Inter area was knocked down for Cigarini to surely stroke him, but Handanovic somehow spread himself brilliantly to save with his legs. How crucial could that be?
58'
I. Perišić enters the game and replaces F. Guarín.
Inter make the first change of the afternoon, as Guarín goes off to be replaced by Ivan Perišić.
There is a slight break in play as De Roon goes down and receives attention from the medical team. He looks like he will be fine to continue, though.
56'
Once again, the hosts will be pleased with the start they have made to the half. They need to keep on top of Inter, though, and maintain the pressure.
54'
WASTED! Cigarini stands over the ball, but only succeeds in sending it way over the crossbar. Inter will be relieved he did not make more of that.
53'
M. Brozović gets yellow.
Atalanta are now awarded a very dangerous free kick on the edge of the Inter penalty area. Brozovic made a clumsy challenge and is booked.
52'
WHAT A SAVE! An Atalanta corner is flicked on at the near post and looks to be heading for the top corner, but Handanovic shows great reflexes to somehow tip it over the crossbar.
50'
G. Monachello gets yellow.
Monachello is the first player into the referee's notebook at the start of this second half, after a foul on Alex Telles.
48'
Atalanta make the early running at the start of this second half. Gomez delivers a dangerous cross from the right and D'Ambrosio is forced to make a very important clearance.
46'
KICK OFF! The referee blows his whistle and Inter get the ball rolling once again.
45' +2
Inter deal with the corner, though, and the referee swiftly blows for half time.
45' +1
Atalanta have a corner in the dying seconds of the first half. What a time to score this would be...
44'
F. Guarín gets yellow.
Guarín is the second Inter player to be shown a yellow card this afternoon.
42'
As things stand, Inter would move about Juventus and into second place with a point. All three would take them back to the top of Serie A, however.
40'
P. Gómez gets yellow.
Gómez is booked for a rash challenge on Jovetic, who was looking to break down the right flank.
38'
The play is a little disjointed at the moment. Possession is frequently changing hands and there has been no real flow over the last couple of minutes.
36'
S. Jovetić gets yellow.
Jovetić is the next player to have his name taken by the referee after a professional foul on Drame, who was looking to skip away from the challenge of him and Guarin.
35'
Inter are also pressing for the third goal of this game. A long ball into the Atalanta area falls to Icardi, but the ball runs away from him and the hosts can clear.
32'
STAT ATTACK! Now that Inter have equalised, it means that both teams have scored at least once in 11 of their last 12 meetings.
30'
Atalanta are suddenly looking the more urgent of the two sides once again after seeing their lead slip away. Their is a lot more pace in their lead as they try to edge their noses back in front.
28'
It has been a tale of two own goals so far today. Murillo's to give Atalanta the lead was rather bizarre, but Toloi's effort was more on the spectacular side as his clearance crashed past Sportiello off the underside of the bar.
25'
R. Tolói is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
IT'S ANOTHER OWN GOAL!!! Toloi puts through his own net in bizarre fashion and Inter are level! A neat move from the visitors sees Brozovic whip the ball across goal, only for the Atalanta defender to slice it past his own keeper off the underside of the crossbar.
24'
Inter are finally starting to show more urgency in their play. They are enjoying a lot more possession and asking more questions going forward.
22'
GOOD SAVE! Monachello shows good strength up front to get in behind the Inter defence, but the angle is tight for him and Handanovic is able to make an important block.
21'
What can Inter do to respond? That was just the second goal they have conceded to Atalanta in their last four meetings, but they need to seriously up their performance levels.
19'
There were suspicions of offside with an Atalanta striker clearly standing ahead of Murillo. He was not really interfering with play, though, when the ball was turned in by Murillo.
17'
J. Murillo is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
ATALANTA LEAD! And it is no more than they deserve! Drame drives into the area from the left and drills the ball across goal, before Murillo inadvertently turns it into his own net.
16'
Some space opens up in front of Brozovic and he tries his luck from 25 yards. His effort is nowhere near troubling Sportiello, though, as it goes well wide of the target.
14'
R. Tolói gets yellow.
Conti is shown the first yellow card of the game following a rash foul inside the Inter half.
12'
Inter are awarded a free kick just inside the Atalanta and use the opportunity to finally enjoy some possession and find their rhythm. Mancini is looking a little concerned on the bench with his side on the back foot after the opening 12 minutes.
10'
WHAT A WASTE! Atalanta are awarded a corner after a swift counter attack. Instead of getting a good delivery into the box, though, they play it short and Inter anticipate well to make the interception and clear.
8'
Atalanta can be very pleased with the start they have made to this game. They have lost each of their last three meetings with Inter, scoring just once, but the signs are promising at the moment.
6'
GOOD SAVE! The hosts continue to apply the pressure. Gomez's shot is blocked but breaks kindly for Drame, whose shot is well beaten away by Handanovic. Gomez reacts quickly, but can only send his follow-up header wide of the target.
5'
WHISKERS! The delivery is cleared but only far as Cigarini, who fires the ball back in. His shot is heading wide of the far post, but a sliding Masiello is inches away from connecting and directing the ball home.
4'
OUCH! Gomez takes a boot to the head following a high foot from D'Ambrosio. There is no card but Atalanta have a free kick near the left corner flag and this is a decent opportunity...
2'
A bright start from the hosts sees Conti find himself unmarked at the far post. He volleys the ball across the face of goal, but the referee blows for offside against Gomez.
1'
KICK OFF! The referee blows his whistle and Atalanta get the match underway.
Good afternoon and welcome to LIVE text commentary of Serie A! We're at the Azzurri d'Italia today, as 11th-placed Atalanta host third-placed Internazionale.
The two sides may be separated by eight places and 15 points in the table, but this is a tough game to call on current form. Atalanta have lost their last four matches, while Inter have suffered defeat in three of their last six.
Edy Reja is looking to put a halt to Atalanta's poor recent form and makes six changes to the side that lost 2-0 at home to Genoa last weekend. Alejandro Gomez carries their greatest threat up front as he looks to add to the five goals he has scored this season, while new loan signing Alessandro Diamanti is on the bench.
ATALANTA (3-5-2): Sportiello; Rafael Toloi, Masiello, Cherubin; Conti, Cigarini, De Roon, Kurtic, Drame; Monachello, Gomez.
Roberto Mancini saw Inter lose top spot after their 1-0 defeat to Sassuolo last weekend. He makes three changes from that game as he looks to help them return to the summit. Stevan Jovetic scored a stoppage-time winner in the reverse fixture and starts ahead of Ivan Perisic, while Fredy Guarin returns looking to score against Atalanta for the fourth league game in a row and Alex Telles replaces Yuto Nagatamo at left-back.
INTER (4-3-3): Handanovic; D'Ambrosio, Miranda, Murillo, Alex Telles; Guarin, Medel, Brozovic; Ljajic, Icardi, Jovetic.
The teams are making their way out onto the field and kick off is just moments away!
HALF TIME: ATALANTA 1-1 INTERNAZIONALE
Two own goals have outlined the first half here at Azzurri d'Italia. Murillo put through his own net when he deflected Drame's cross past Handanovic, before Toloi sent Brozovic's cross flying past Sportiello at the other end.
The teams are coming back out onto the field and the second half is fast approaching.
FULL TIME: ATALANTA 1-1 INTERNAZIONALE
It was honours even in the end at Azzurri d'Italia, as nothing could separate Atalanta and Inter. Two own goals were the stories of the day, as Murillo's first-half own goal was cancelled out by Toloi's soon after. Neither side could find a winner and take a point each from a fascinating contest.
That's all for this afternoon. Thank you for following the LIVE action of Serie A - hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time, have a very good weekend!
