Tottenham are bossing possession in the Fiorentina half of the pitch but, as has been the case for the vast majority of the evening, they are finding it impossible to get past a very good defence.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be three minutes of added time.
88'
Townsend is bundled over by Gomez on the right flank, and Tottenham are awarded a free kick in a good position as a result. It's curled into the middle of the box where it finds Soldado, but the Spaniard's looping header flies over the top of the crossbar and out for a goal kick.
86'
Great strike by Eriksen! The Dane cuts inside towards the Fiorentina penalty area before unleashing a fantastic low shot, but Neto pushes it around the near post with a good save.
84'
M. Pasqual enters the game and replaces Joaquín.
Fiorentina have made their final change of the game, with Pasqual coming on to take the place of Joaquin.
83'
It's all Fiorentina at the moment, and the hosts seem content to keep the ball for the final seven minutes as they look to hold on to their two-goal lead.
81'
Salah breaks away quickly down the right flank, beating Chiriches comfortably before teeing up Gomez. The striker twists and turns before firing a low pass across the face of goal, but there's nobody there to get on the end of it.
79'
Kane scores, but it's offside! Soldado pokes a deft pass into the path of Davies, who then squares the ball to Kane, allowing the striker to easily poke the ball into the back of an empty net from three yards out, but the defender was several yards offside, denying Tottenham the opportunity to pull a goal back.
77'
Again, Eriksen's strike from the resulting set-piece is poor and fails to beat the wall of Fiorentina shirts in front of him.
76'
Townsend is brought down by Joaquin just outside of the Fiorentina penalty area, and, as a result, Tottenham are awarded a free kick in a very dangerous position.

Description
75'
K. Walker enters the game and replaces J. Vertonghen.
Tottenham have made their final change of the evening, with a very glum Vertonghen making way for Walker.
73'
It's now or never for Tottenham, who are pushing as many bodies forward as possible in an attempt to kick-start what would be a truly fantastic comeback.
72'
Mohamed Salah gets yellow.
Salah can't contain his joy and rips the shirt off from his body, resulting in a yellow card from the referee.
71'
Mohamed Salah has scored a goal for Fiorentina!
GOAL! It's 2-0 to Fiorentina! Tottenham's defence completely fall asleep, allowing Gomez and Salah play a lovely one-two on the edge of the box. The Egyptian then darts into the penalty area and takes advantage of a terrible moment of indecision by Vertonghen before firing the ball past Lloris, who is furious with his back four.
69'
After a long period of Tottenham pressure, Fiorentina now seem to be on the front foot as they look to take advantage of the visitors' high line and double their lead.
67'
Kane holds up the ball well just outside the Fiorentina penalty area before spinning and setting up Lamela. The Argentine picks out Davies on the left wing but the defender spends too long on the ball before fizzing a poor cross past Soldado.
65'
And now Badelj goes close! The Croatian bursts forward before firing a thumping shot from the edge of the penalty area, but it ends up clearing the top of the crossbar by a few agonising yards.
63'
H. Kane enters the game and replaces N. Bentaleb.
A. Townsend enters the game and replaces N. Chadli.
Tottenham have made a double substitution as they look to find a way back into the game. The first player to come on is Townsend, who takes the place of Chadli.
And the second is Kane, who replaces Bentaleb as the visitors switch to a 4-4-2 formation.
61'
What an opportunity for Salah! Again, Fiorentina take advantage of Tottenham's high defensive line and the Egyptian bursts through before going one-on-one with Lloris, but he ends up firing his low shot into the feet of the goalkeeper.
59'
Eriksen and Chiriches play the ball between one another before the latter tees up Bentaleb, but, uncharacteristically, the Algerian thumps a terrible pass over the top of the Fiorentina defence and out of play for a goal kick.
57'
G. Rodríguez enters the game and replaces J. Basanta.
Basanta, who is really struggling, is stretchered off the pitch to be replaced by Rodriguez in a like-for-like substitution.
56'
It looks as if Basanta has now picked up a thigh injury, forcing Fiorentina into making their second substitution of the game.
54'
M. Gómez has scored a goal for Fiorentina! Assist by M. Badelj.
GOAL! Fiorentina have taken the lead! A terrible pass from Fazio sends the ball straight into the feet of Badelj, who tees up Gomez quickly, allowing the German to break away on a marauding run forward before calmly slotting the ball past Lloris and into the back of the net.
52'
What a chance for Badelj! A low cross from Salah bounces off Chiriches and into the path of the midfielder, who is completely unmarked on the edge of the penalty area, but somehow, despite the time awarded to him by the Tottenham defence, he ends up sending a first-time shot straight into the hands of Lloris.
50'
B. Davies gets yellow.
Davies flies into Badelj and brings the Croatian crashing to the ground, resulting in a yellow card that means the left-back will miss Tottenham's next game, if they make it through tonight.
48'
Chadli picks up the ball on the left flank before darting down the wing and sending a low cross towards the penalty spot, but it's too near to Neto and the goalkeeper is easily able to cut out the danger.
46'
And we're underway once again!
45' +1
Chadli holds up the ball on the edge of the Fiorentina penalty area before teeing up Davies, who then sends a deep cross towards Lamela, but it's poorly hit and can only find Aquilani at the back post.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be one minute of added time.
43'
Great chance for Salah! Badelj sends an absolutely wonderful pass into the path of the Egyptian, who then breaks into the right-hand side of the box before firing a shot towards the roof of the net, but, off-balance, it ends up flying well over the top of the crossbar.
41'
Richards muscles past Chadli before sprinting into the Tottenham half of the pitch, but a great tackle from Vertonghen brings his determined run to an early end.
39'
Aquilani dispossesses Chiriches in the middle of the pitch before turning and sending a long ball towards Salah. The Egyptian twists and initially beats Davies before seemingly being pulled from behind by the left-back, but, despite the protests from the hosts, the referee refuses to award Fiorentina a free kick.
37'
Eriksen fires a curling shot from the resulting set-piece, but it fails to beat the wall of Fiorentina players camped on the edge of the penalty area.
36'
M. Badelj gets yellow.
A poor challenge from Badelj on Bentaleb, who had easily beaten the Croatian, results in the first yellow card of the game and a free kick for Tottenham in a very dangerous position 25 yards out.
35'
Eriksen lifts a lovely pass over the top of the Fiorentina defence and onto the foot of Lamela, who brings the ball down well before turning and teeing up Chiriches. The right-back then curls a good cross back into the box but it's comfortably headed away from danger by Basanta.
33'
Vertonghen pushes forward before playing a good one-two with Davies on the left flank. The Belgian charges towards the byline before sending a low cross towards the near post, but it's only able to find Basanta, who then blasts the ball out for a throw-in.
31'
What a mistake by Soldado! The striker and Chadli break through the disjointed Fiorentina back four and only have Neto to beat, but, somehow, the Spaniard ends up fluffing his attempted deft pass towards the winger into the grateful hands of the goalkeeper, who surely thought he was about to be beaten.
29'
Eriksen is dispossessed by Richards on the edge of the Fiorentina penalty area, and the hosts then break away on another quick counter attack. Salah sprints forward and into the Tottenham penalty area but is dispossessed near the byline by a great tackle from Bentaleb.
27'
Fazio sends a chipped ball through the middle of the Fiorentina defence and into the path of Soldado, but it's slightly overhit and is cut out by Neto before it's able to meet the Spaniard inside the penalty area.
25'
A. Aquilani enters the game and replaces M. Fernández.
Fernandez does indeed limp off the pitch after receiving medical attention for a few moments, and Aquilani comes on to take his place.
24'
Fernandez seems to be struggling with an injury, and it looks as if the Chilean midfielder is going to have to make way at this early stage of the game.
23'
The resulting set-piece is cleared by Richards but only as far as Stambouli, who then unleashes a thumping half-volley towards goal. It bounces off the wall of Fiorentina shirts camped in front of him before falling into the path of Chiriches, who then earns his side another corner after his wonderful curling cross is headed out of play by Savic.
22'
Stambouli finds himself in acres of space 30 yards out, allowing him to push forward before sending a deep cross towards Davies. It's cut out again by Richards, however, who volleys the ball out for a corner.
20'
Chadli and Eriksen link up well in the middle of the pitch before the latter tries to tee up Davies on the left wing, but Richards is comfortably able to mop up the danger before thumping the ball out of play for a Tottenham throw-in.
18'
Another great chance for Gomez! A Tottenham attack breaks down and the hosts do well to quickly kick-start a swift counter. The striker bursts forward and into the penalty area before looking to shoot but is unable to find a way past Vertonghen, who does well to shepherd the ball out of play for a goal kick.
16'
Again, a long ball beats the Tottenham defence before finding a Fiorentina player, but this time it's Gomez who's offside, much to the German striker's annoyance.
14'
Nervy moments at the back for Tottenham! A wonderful lofted pass from Pizarro loops over the top of the Spurs defence and into the path of Salah, but the Egyptian winger is just a few yards offside, bringing the promising attack to an end.
12'
The corner is dealt with well by the Fiorentina defence, allowing Salah to break away on a blistering run forward. He decides to go it alone and charges into the penalty area, but he's stopped comfortably by the defensive duo of Chiriches and Fazio.
11'
Fiorentina almost immediately lose the ball from the restart, allowing Eriksen to dart into the box before seemingly being brought to the ground by Savic. He appeals rather half-heartedly for a penalty but is only awarded a corner by the referee.
10'
Great play by Eriksen! The Dane receives the ball on the edge of the box and holds it up well before teeing up Lamela, who then unleashes a good shot that flies into the hands of Neto at the near post.
8'
The resulting set-piece is thumped into the heart of the penalty area where it finds Lloris, who punches the ball away well. It's picked up by Pizarro, however, but the midfielder fires his long-range shot over the top of the crossbar.
7'
The visitors lose the ball near to the corner flag on the right wing, allowing Fiorentina to break away quickly. Salah bursts forward before eventually playing the ball to Alonso, who then earns his side a corner.
6'
It's all Tottenham at the moment as they patiently pass the ball around in the centre of the pitch, but Fiorentina are doing extremely well to keep them at bay with high-pressure defending.
4'
Good early chance for Badelj! Chiriches gives the ball away cheaply to Salah, who then cuts inside from the left flank before teeing up the Croatian. He unleashes a low shot that beats Lloris but flies a few yards wide of the near post.
2'
Tottenham almost immediately win the ball from the Italians before pushing forward on a patient attacking move, but it's brought to an end by Savic, who dispossesses Lamela on the edge of the penalty area.
1'
And we're off! Fiorentina get us underway, attacking from left to right.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today's Europa League last-32 clash between Fiorentina and Tottenham Hotspur. My name is Ben Cullimore and I will be keeping you up to date with all of the action from Stadio Artemio Franchi.
What a huge week this is for Tottenham! Sunday sees them take on fellow Londoners Chelsea in the final of the Capital One Cup, the first time they have reached the last stage of the competition since they lost on penalties against Manchester United in 2009, but first they must attempt to see off Fiorentina as they look to reach the last-16 of the Europa League for the third season in a row. After a close first-leg encounter that ended 1-1, it's still all to play for, and, as a result, we are sure to be in for another thrilling clash!
As for Fiorentina, they head into tonight's game in fine form, with Sunday's 1-1 draw at home to Torino extending their unbeaten run to 10 games. They have impressed at Stadio Artemio Franchi in recent weeks and have yet to lose a single clash at home in 2015, with three of those five games ending in victories, whilst they have also managed to bag themselves 12 goals in that short amount of time. It's certainly not going to be easy for Tottenham, who must score if they are to find a way past the Italian side.
There's just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let's have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening...
Tottenham Hotspur XI (4-2-3-1): Lloris; Chiriches, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies; Stambouli, Bentaleb; Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli; Soldado.
Tottenham Hotspur substitutes: Vorm, Walker, Rose, Paulinho, Mason, Townsend, Kane.
Vincenzo Montella has made four changes to the Fiorentina side that started the first leg, with Neto, Micah Richards, Marcos Alonso and Milan Badelj all coming into the squad to replace Ciprian Tatarusanu, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Manuel Pasqual and Borja Valero.
Meanwhile, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has decided to make three alterations to the side that started at White Hart Lane, with Kyle Walker, Paulinho and Andros Townsend dropping out to be replaced by Vlad Chiriches, Benjamin Stambouli and Erik Lamela.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: FIORENTINA 0-0 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
It's been a rather good opening 45 minutes for Tottenham, although they are lacking that clinical edge in the final third of the pitch. Fiorentina have defended well - as they have been set up to do - and look compact and well-organised in the middle of the pitch, but, so far, Gomez has offered little in front of goal. Soldado came closest at the other end of the pitch and really should have set up Chadli for an easy tap-in, but, somehow, the Spaniard could only find the hands of Neto.
The two teams are making their way back out onto the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: FIORENTINA 2-0 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Fiorentina comfortably hold on to win 2-0 and, as a result, they progress to the last-16 of the competition. In the end, it was rather easy for the Italian side, who defended extremely well against a Tottenham team that looked poor in the final third of the pitch. Two terrible mistakes gifted them with perfect opportunities to score and, unlike Soldado in the first half, they did just that, with Gomez and Salah inflicting plenty of pain and misery on the visitors, who go home empty-handed as a result.
My name is Ben Cullimore and it's been an absolute pleasure describing all of the action to you today. Until next time, goodbye!
