Ireland kick-off to get things underway at Celtic Park.
Ireland get a free-kick at the edge of the Scotland area just 30 seconds in...
Uefa European Championship qualifying continues tonight as Scotland host the Republic of Ireland at Celtic Park.
The biggest news from the teamsheets is Republic of Ireland captain and record goalscorer Robbie Keane dropping to the bench. The LA Galaxy striker has not been dropped for a competitive game since Estonia back in June 2001.
Scotland are missing their first and second choice right-back, but can call on 26 time international Steven Whittaker to deputise.
Ireland boss Martin O'Neill spoke to Irish broadcaster RTE ahead of the kickoff, explaining his decision to drop Keane from the lineup. "Shane [Long] scored a couple of goals at the weekend, he's in good form, and can add a bit of pace up front, so he gets the nod."
Gordon Strachan has spoken about the threat of Ireland all week, but believes his Scotland side can win the game, and move level on points with the Boys in Green.
Today's early kick-off saw Poland score four second-half goals to defeat Gibraltar, so they are clear at the top of the Group D table with 10 points. Germany can resurrect their campaign tonight as they host minnows Gibraltar. Many bookmakers are expecting at least a 10 goal swing in Germany's favour.

A scrappy half comes to an end at Celtic Park, with Scotland closest to scoring, but neither goalkeeper really tested.

Elsewhere in Group D, two goals from Thomas Muller have helped Germany into a 3-0 half-time lead against Gibraltar.
The teams are back on the pitch for the second-half. No changes to either side.
All over at Celtic Park as Scotland edge out the Republic of Ireland.
The win sees Scotland move level on points with Ireland on seven, while Germany's 4-0 win against Gibraltar also moves them to seven points. Group D is wide open after this result.
That's all from Celtic Park as Scotland end their competitive campaign for the year on a high. Back to the drawing board for Martin O'Neill ahead of Tuesday's friendly with the USA. Scotland take on England in another local derby.
