THAT'S IT! The referee sounds his whistle and it is all over! A historic night in Warsaw as the World Champions are defeated for the first ever time by their neighbors!
90' +4
Kroos takes and it is a fine attempt, but it dips a bit too late as it hits the top netting. Goal kick for Poland, which Szczesny will be in no rush to take...
90' +3
Ł. Piszczek gets yellow.
Free kick awarded to Germany just to the top of the box and they will have to hurry to take this, a great chance to cut the deficit in half.
90' +2
Germany cannot buy a goal! Podolski, waiting in the centre, gets a pass in the middle and unleashes a shot on goal, but again Glik bravely dives in front to get a block in! Sensational stuff for the central defender.
90'
You can hardly hear yourself think, as the crowd is absolutely electric now! Those in attendance know they are about to witness Poland's first ever victory over Germany! There are four minutes of added time...
88'
S. Mila has scored a goal for Poland! Assist by R. Lewandowski.
IT'S ALL OVER NOW AS POLAND DOUBLE THEIR LEAD!
PANDEMONIUM IN WARSAW! The hosts break on a counter, with Lewandowski in possession along the right. He picks out Mila with a pass and the substitute confidently finishes past Neuer, just inside the far post!
87'
CHAOS! Draxler does well to lay a ball off for Bellarabi, who lashes a shot towards goal. Two Polish defenders fearlessly dive in to block the shot, and the rebound by Podolski is blasted over the bar.
86'
K. Bellarabi gets yellow.
85'
STAT ATTACK: The two teams most recently met in Poland in a 2011 friendly, where a 94th minute Cacau equalizer secured a 2-2 draw for Die Mannschaft.
84'
A. Jędrzejczyk enters the game and replaces J. Wawrzyniak.
Minute
Description
83'
M. Kruse enters the game and replaces A. Rüdiger.
Lengthy delay now as Wawrzyniak is down injured, forcing the medical team to come out with a stretcher. This is not a tactic to waste time, as Poland immediately get a substitute ready for the left-back who really does appear to be in some pain.
81'
OFF THE WOODWORK! What a story that would have been! Boateng sends a ball into the box. It is headed away, but only as far as Podolski. The Polish-born German international unleashes a rocket volley with his left foot, beating his Arsenal teammate, but not the crossbar!
79'
SZCZESNY AGAIN! Bellarabi unleashes a bullet from the top of the area through the legs of a defender, but the Arsenal keeper dives across and gets a strong hand to it to keep it out!
77'
S. Mila enters the game and replaces A. Milik.
Ł. Podolski enters the game and replaces A. Schürrle.
SUBLIME TACKLE! Lewandowski wins the ball at the top of his own penalty area and darts forward to start a counter attack. Poland outnumber Germany as they get into the final third, but Hummels makes up a ton of ground, sliding in from behind to break up the move!
75'
Poland are getting deeper and deeper in defence, which is inviting waves of German pressure. Glik steps up aggressively to make a fine tackle on Muller, sniffing out an attack. How long can the hosts withstand this potent attack?
73'
Draxler! The substitute makes an immediate impact, taking a pass at the top of the area and blasting the ball towards goal. It takes a deflection and runs behind for a corner. The ensuing cross is met by Hummels, who heads wide.
71'
W. Sobota enters the game and replaces K. Grosicki.
J. Draxler enters the game and replaces C. Kramer.
BRILLIANT RUN! End to end stuff here in Warsaw! Grosicki with an incredibly aggressive dash forward, splitting two defenders to get into the area, but rushes his shot just a pit, putting it straight into the arms of Neuer.
69'
GREAT CHANCE! Muller threads a lovely ball through to Bellarabi who is in behind the defence, but gets very little behind his shot, rolling the ball into the arms of Szczesny! Unbelievable! A glorious chance for Germany to equalize is spurned yet again.
67'
Poland, after sitting back for an extended period after taking the lead, are finally managing to relieve a bit of pressure on their goal by getting the ball forward. They are not quite counter attacks, as they lack support in the final third, but Lewandowski and Milik do a good job of holding the ball up to give the defence a breather.
65'
STAT ATTACK: Poland have won just four of their last 10 qualifying matches at home, defeating Moldova, Czech Republic and San Marino twice.
63'
WHAT A MISS! Brilliant work from Muller to hold the ball in the area with his back turned to goal, draw two defenders to him, creating space for a pass to Durm who is standing alone to the left of goal. He gets the pass and has the goal at his mercy, but can only manage a shot straight at Szczesny! He really has to do better there.
61'
Szczesny has looked incredibly confident in goal. He is quite inconsistent in net, but this just has the look of one of those days where it will take something quite spectacular to beat him. The Arsenal keeper is feeding off the energy of the crowd, but is not letting his emotion get the better of him.
59'
The atmosphere inside the stadium is electric! The home fans want to witness history, but there is still plenty of work to do. Germany win a free kick along the right, Kroos delivers, but again Szczesny is out to punch clear!
57'
WHAT A RESPONSE! Germany are flying in attack, as the pace of the match has been shifted into high gear with the Poland goal. Schurrle gets into the area and some shocking defending gives him far too much space as he cuts to his left and blasts a shot on goal, but Szczesny again flies across to make a diving save! Germany have responded well to falling behind, but the equalizer still eludes them.
56'
R. Lewandowski gets yellow.
55'
Free kick for Germany from 30 yards out along the left. Kroos stands over, with the visitors flooding the penalty area, but the delivery is poor as Szczesny comes out to catch the cross and sniff out the danger.
53'
BRILLIANT SAVE! Bellarabi picks out Gotze in the area with a pass. The Bayern man, like a magician, somehow gets by the two defenders in his way, before trying to pass it in at the far post. Szczesny gets an arm down, however, to keep it out and preserve the lead!
51'
A. Milik has scored a goal for Poland! Assist by Ł. Piszczek.
Warsaw erupts as the home side strike first! Piszczek is the creator, sending a lovely ball into the area that Arkadiusz Milik does incredibly well to attack and head past Neuer at the far post!
50'
POLAND TAKE THE LEAD WITH THEIR FIRST SHOT ON TARGET!
48'
Worrying sign for Germany as Kramer is down and in significant pain after Lewandowski went into the back of the midfielder, getting his knee up as he tried to win a header. The medical staff is out as the match comes to half just minutes after the restart.
46'
Germany get this second half underway in Warsaw! No changes to tell you about at the break, with both team returning the same XI out onto the pitch.
45'
The referee sounds his half time whistle, much to the relief of Poland who spent the last 10 minutes or so on their back foot.
43'
CLOSE! The Leverkussen man at the heart of things again. Muller sends a lovely pass in for Bellarabi, who cuts across the defender and tries to curl in at the far post, but Szczesny does well to dive across and hold on after making the save.
41'
WONDERFUL! Incredible stuff from Schurrle, who picks up the ball in his own half and looks up to his right, faking a pass to Gotze. The defence is drawn across as a result, and the Chelsea man shifts his field of vision, sending a dart of a pass through the heart of defence for Muller who gets into the area, but a lack of pace allows Glik to apply some pressure, forcing his shot wide.
39'
THE FAIRYTALE IS NEARLY WRITTEN! Incredible build-up by Germany, who are really starting to take over and create chances now. Gotze breaks into the area along the right and looks up, chipping a ball across the face of goal for Bellarabi. The debutant tries to steer the ball in with his first touch, but sends it wide of the far post by the narrowest of margins!
37'
INCREDIBLE INTERCEPTION! It was not the most acrobatic of defensive interventions, but it was extremely important for Poland, as Germany were breaking two against one. Schurrle's attempted pass to pick out Muller, all alone in the centre, is broken up in mid-air by a lunging Piczszek!
35'
Bellarabi is doing a lovely job along the right, giving the Polish defenders quite a handful. He creates space and sends another fine ball into the centre, but Glik is there. His touch is an awkward one, however, as he loops the ball towards goal, but Szczesny does well to catch it on the line.
33'
Wonderful ball from Bellarabi, who nearly picks out Muller, but Glik slides in to just break it up and put it behind for a corner. The danger is dealt with and Poland break on a counter, but Grosicki's ambitious effort from 30 yards out rolls helplessly wide.
31'
STAT ATTACK: Germany have won 13 straight qualifying matches on their travels. The last time they failed to record a victory was back in September of 2008, a 3-3 draw with Finland.
29'
Gotze gets forward and has Muller hollering for a pass to his right. He delays his move, and the chance goes begging. He is forced to retreat, laying it off for Bellarabi, but his shot is blocked well and Poland get back in possession.
27'
Poland are looking to attack via the counter, but are really struggling to do so early on as the work ethic of these German midfielders has been superb. Jodlowiec wins a ball and tries to break, but Bellarabi does incredibly well to track back and put in a fine tackle to dispossess.
25'
YIKES! The second yellow card of the match, first to Germany, is given to Jerome Boateng as he cynically gets his foot up into the groin of Krychowiak. That will certainly hurt the midfielder, and the Bayern centre-back will perhaps be thanking his lucky stars it was only a yellow card.
24'
J. Boateng gets yellow.
23'
Gotze dances around on the right, but lacks support in the centre. He beats a defender and crosses into the area, but his final ball is very poor as it makes for a straightforward catch from Szczesny.
21'
There is a real lazy feel to this game as we pass the 20 minute mark. Neither side has much intent to their play, lacking any urgency whatsoever. The two teams continue to feel each other out, with Germany content on passing it around in midfield.
20'
Ł. Szukala gets yellow.
19'
HUMMELS! Instead of going for goal, the free kick is chipped towards the far post and met by the towering centre-back. Glik lunges in to get an important block in as the ball runs behind for a corner kick. That was a real good chance for Germany.
17'
Gotze does very well to dribble past a few defenders and wins a free kick as Jodlowiec sticks a leg out to take him down. Good chance for the Germans from the set piece, just outside the penalty area.
15'
APPEALS FOR A PENALTY! Lewandowski takes a long pass from Rybus along the left and controls it well to get behind the defence. He breaks into the area and is toppled over from behind by Rudiger, but the Portuguese referee hardly sees enough for a foul and immediately waves off the appeal.
13'
It has been a cagey start to the match with scoring chances few and far between. Neither team has posed much of a threat in the final third, while showing no signs early on of breaking down the defence. The midfield third is seeing a lot of action, with the ball being passed around harmlessly as the two teams exchange possession.
11'
STAT ATTACK: Poland have never beaten Germany in their history, losing seven times while drawing three.
9'
Thomas Muller has some choice words for Torino centre-back Kamil Glik after the defender got a hard hand up into the throat of the striker. It certainly was careless from Glik, and the referee has a talk with him. The two players shake hands and all if forgiven for the time being.
7'
Grosicki is doing an excellent job of threatening Germany with his excellent pace and dribbling ability along the right. The home crowd roars every time he gets in possession. He beats Durm and sends a lovely cross into the centre, but Boateng is able to head clear.
5'
Very important sliding challenge from Mats Hummels to break up a Poland move, and he then starts Germany on the break. They get forward in numbers, but Bellarabi's pass runs safely behind for a goal kick.
3'
Germany dictate the pace of this match early on, but Poland are up to the task defensively. A cross is cleared, and Robert Lewandowski holds the ball up well just inside his own half, winning a foul for his team.

And we're off! Poland get us underway here at the Stadion Narodowy. The hosts, moving left to right, are in their white tops and red shorts, a like for like representation of their nation's flag. Germany are sporting their black and red striped tops.
Good evening footy fans around the world, and welcome to another lovely evening of Euro Cup qualification, from Warsaw. The Stadion Narodowy is are venue tonight, as Poland take on neighbours, and World Champions, Germany. I am Alex Moretto and I will be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
Germany are riding high following their World Cup triumph, and picked up three points from their opening fixture against Scotland. Joachim Low has the ability to experiment with a strong youth contingent looking to break into the national team, and has been doing just that. Of the 23 players called up, 10 of them have seven or fewer caps to their name, while every outfield player (with the exception of Lukas Podolski) is 26-years-old or younger.
Poland got their qualifying campaign off to a cracking start with a 7-0 victory, albeit against a Gibraltar squad making their debut in the competition. The Bialo-czerwoni will likely face their toughest competition from Ireland and Scotland in their quest to finish in the top two, along with Group D favorites Germany. They have not qualified for a major tournament since 2008, however, did participate in the European Championship in 2012 as co-hosts, and were eliminated in the group stage.
The teams have been announced, so let us have ourselves a look at the starting line-ups:
Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger earns just his third ever cap, while Mats Hummels returns to play alongside Jerome Boateng at centre-back. Meanwhile, Karim Bellarabi, who has enjoyed a stelar start to the season with Leverkusen, makes his first ever appearance for Die Mannschaft, replacing the injured Marco Reus.
The respective anthems are blasted through the loudspeakers as players and fans alike sing in unison. Patriotism at its finest in Warsaw as we get set for the start of the match!
Just two changes for Poland, following their 7-0 victory over Gibraltar. Lukasz Piszczek is a welcomed back into the team and slots in at right-back, while Legia midfielder Tomasz Jodlowiec replaces Mateusz Klich.
HALF TIME: POLAND 0-0 GERMANY. After a rather uneventful and lackluster opening 25 minutes, the match really came to life, with the visitors hitting their stride. The World Champions have been very comfortable on the ball, creating a number of scoring chances late on, however, still have nothing to show for it.
STAT ATTACK: Germany have never previously played a competitive match in Poland. They have travelled there four times for friendlies, winning and drawing twice.
FULL TIME: POLAND 2-0 GERMANY. An incredibly gutsy performance from the hosts, who showed plenty of character in holding on for all three points. Ajax striker Arek Milik gave them the lead just before the hour mark, before Mila put the final nail in the coffin. Szczesny's heroics kept Poland in front, and Germany were finally made to pay for their missed chances.
It has been an absolute pleasure bringing you all this historic match, an evening that will go down in Polish footballing folklore. I am Alex Moretto and I would like to thank you all for joining me here today. Good bye!
