Just 60 seconds left now, and PSG are stroking the ball about calmly...
90' +1
Dear oh dear - the free kick is blasted way, way over the bar, and Caen will surely end the night goalless. They've had chances, but no composure when it really counted.
90'
Perhaps a late chance for Caen here as they win a free kick 30 yards out - Sirigu is lining up his wall, and will be edesperate for a clean sheet.
87'
Three minutes remaining, and while it hasn't been plain sailing for PSG, Blanc will be happy they held their nerve and extended their lead in the second half after a spirited Caen display.
84'
Credit to Caen, they're not going down without a fight. It's pinball in the PSG area as they try to make their shots count, but an offside is eventually given.
83'
Dear oh dear Lemar - Caen launch a great counter-attack and have five against four, but as the midfielder reaches the PSG area, he suffers a rush of blood to the head and blasts his effort well over! His team-mates were not impressed with that one.
80'
Cavani is inches away from latching onto a cute through-ball six yards home, but the ball is cleared as he looks to smash home. The forward then runs himself into trouble and loses the ball - it's not been his night so far.
79'
C. Chantôme enters the game and replaces Lucas Moura.
Lucas is replaced after a wonderful display - he's been PSG's match winner tonight.
78'
The home crowd are willing on their side with 12 minutes to go, but PSG are stretching Caen down the flanks, and a third goal looks likely - that's if Cavani finally finds his shooting boots.
75'
Maxwell almost creates a third for PSG, but Appiah clears well from underneath his own bar. Cavani then breaks through onto a loose ball, but can't quite control his volley as Vercoutre saves and a good chance goes begging. Both strikers have been wasteful tonight for either side.

Description
73'
Just as I say that, Duhamel wastes yet another fine chance! He gets in behind the PSG back line and turns on goal, but his left-footed effort dribbles a couple of yards wide of Sirigu's left-hand post. A poor effort.
71'
Caen have been lively tonight, but with just 20 minutes remaining, it looks like PSG will be collecting their first Ligue 1 away win of the season. Things could have been so different had Duhamel been on form, though...
69'
T. Lemar enters the game and replaces J. Féret.
Both sides make changes as Matuidi replaces Cabaye, while Lemar replaces Feret, who will feel he could have made more of an impact tonight.
68'
B. Matuidi enters the game and replaces Y. Cabaye.
66'
Chance for Bengali Fodé Koita! The Caen substitute drives a lovely effort at goal from 25 yards, but it flashes wide of Sirigu's left-hand post!
64'
PSG should probably have a penalty here as Bahebeck reaches the ball first in the area and Vercoutre catches him with a lunge, but referee Wilfried Bien simply gives a goal kick. The forward is bewildered, as is Blanc on the touchline.
63'
Jean Calve cries out in pain as Cabaye catches him late with a trailing foot as the Caen man clears the ball. That looked painful, but he'll continue.
62'
That second goal has really settled PSG, and they are now stroking the ball about with real confidence. Blanc's men needed that breathing space, and should go on to collect the three points from here.
61'
F. Koita enters the game and replaces H. Bazile.
60'
Close for Marquinhos! The PSG defender almost gets his second in four minutes as he again heads at goal from a corner, but his effort flies a yard over the bar.
59'
PSG are looking to put this game to bed now - first Van der Wiel's cross is cleared for a corner, then David Luiz's long-range effort is cleared for another...
56'
Marquinhos has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by J. Bahebeck.
THAT'S THE SECOND FOR PSG!!! The corner flies in from the left and Marquinhos has all the time in the world to head an unmarked effort down into the ground and past Vercoutre, with Kante unable to keep the ball out with a last-ditch header on the line!
55'
Lucas tries to escape down the right but is fouled by Nangis. PSG work the ball to the left, and Maxwell almost finds Cavani with a gorgeous high pass, but it's cleared for a corner...
53'
Close for Bazile! The Caen man unleashes a fierce effort from 25 yards that Sirigu has to beat away to safety! The hosts look much improved in this second half, and Blanc will be alarmed.
52'
Down at the other end, Bahebeck tees up an effort from 20 yards out, but bends it over the bar. He should have done better from there.
51'
After seeing so little of the ball in the first half, Duhamel again has the ball in the PSG area, but a heavy touch sees Marquinhos in to clear. The Caen forward's confidence looks shot - he'll need to find it fast.
50'
The game is getting a little ragged as both sides are fairly open in the early stages of the second half, and PSG are just looking to settle themselves down given their lead.
48'
WHAT A MISS! Caen should be level as Duhamel meets a teasing cross at the back post, but he somehow nods the ball wide of Sirigu's left-hand post under no pressure from six yards out! You simply cannot miss chances like those against the champions.
47'
Pastore has the first chance of the second half, but his effort from 25 yards out is too weak and Vercoutre collects easily.
45'
So close for Cavani! great work again from Moura releases Van der Wiel down the right flank, and Cavani picks up the ball 15 yards out. He has his back to goal, but a delightful turn sets up an easy chance, which he smashes wide of Vercoutre's right-hand post from 10 yards! He can't believe it!
We're back underway, and Cavani immediately looks to atone for his earlier misses as he chests down a long ball, but the Caen centre-backs dispossess him on the edge of the box.
44'
Cavani blasts straight at Vercoutre! The PSG forward got through after an error from the hosts, but the Uruguayan's finish was disappointing as he slammed right at the Caen keeper from 20 yards.
43'
This is better from Caen as they look for a way back into the game late in the half, and a misunderstanding in defence almost allows the hosts an effort on goal - but PSG break now...
42'
Great save by Vercoutre! The Caen goalkeeper does really well to stretch out a leg and deny Lucas his second goal of the evening, as the PSG man beautifully turned his man on the edge of the area before shooting after another fine run. The Brazilian is on fire tonight!
39'
David Luiz dumps Bazile on the ground and gives away a free kick 45 yards out on the right. A hopeful cross makes its way in, and Duhamel's flick-on isn't cleared, but runs out for a goal kick. The PSG back line was a little hesitant, there.
37'
Now PSG have a chance to make it two, but Bahebeck smashes a 15-yard effort way over the bar after a clever dummy from Cavani to let the cross from the right run for his team-mate.
35'
So close for Adeoti Jordan! Feret tees up his Caen team-mate 22 yards out, and Adeoti smashes a shot at goal which Sirigu does really well to tip over!
33'
Cavani runs over to the touchline as the medical staff take a quick look at his hand - he's still on, but looks to be in a little pain.
32'
Javier Pastore has assisted three of Lucas Moura’s last four goals in Ligue 1, according to Opta Sports. Not a bad partnership, that.
31'
David Luiz drives the ball into the wall, and PSG can't make anything of the rebound. Cavani appears to be holding his hand in pain though - the last thing the visitors need is yet another injury to an attacker.
29'
Kante clumsily fouls Cabaye 30 yards out and PSG have a free kick - with no Ibrahimovic, who finally gets the chance to take one for the visitors?
28'
Yohan Cabaye is guilty of conceding possession here and Caen can break, but Marquinhos does well to block out Feret, who was disappointingly slow out of the blocks there. PSG really have to stop giving away possession so cheaply.
27'
Caen have their first effort as Lenny Nangis drives at goal from the centre, but his fierce shot from 25 yards out is far too high to trouble Sirigu in the PSG goal.
26'
PSG are enjoying themselves now, with Lucas galloping across the pitch at will and exchanging a lovely one-two with Bahebeck before losing possession on the edge of the Caen penalty area.
24'
This is the closest Caen have come so far, with Duhamel nodding the ball over the back line after a pass from Feret, but Sirigu is quickly off his line to smother the danger.
22'
Lucas looks to break through the defence once again, but Caen learn their lesson as the youngster is crowded out. The hosts need to get more of the ball and calm themselves.
20'
It was fine work from Pastore to set up Lucas, first winning possession and then teeing the Brazilian up for a run through the Caen back line. Even with a number of top performers injured, this PSG side still has some fearsome talent.
18'
Lucas Moura has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by J. Pastore.
LUCAS SCORES FOR PSG!!! What a lovely goal this is from the Brazilian, who jinks his way through the Caen defence before unleashing a fierce left-footed drive over Vercoutre high into the net from 10 yards out! The midfielder then shows off with a great back-flip celebration, and the visitors can breathe.
17'
Now then , Caen get their first real opening of the night down the left as PSG again get caught out needlessly, but the low cross from the left is no good and the visitors can break...
16'
Julien Feret picks up the ball after a sloppy pass in defensive midfield by PSG, but he wastes a potential breakaway with a through-ball nowhere near his team-mates. It has to be better than that.
14'
Every time Caen look to break away, PSG recover possession and go again. The visitors are dominating possession, but need to start turning this dominance into clear-cut chances.
13'
J. Bahebeck enters the game and replaces E. Lavezzi.
That is indeed the end of Lavezzi's night, with Bahebeck his replacement. Yet another headache for Blanc - his forwards are dropping like flies.
11'
Despite carrying on with 10 men, PSG are looking dangerous as Cavani half-heartedly appeals for a handball by Caen, but Wilfried Bien isn't about to give a penalty for that.
10'
Lavezzi limps off the pitch in disappointment, and despite a smile as he sits on the bench, he must know his race is run. Jean Christophe Bahebeck is set to replace him.
8'
This could be a real problem for PSG - Ezequiel Lavezzi has gone down injured after performing a backheel - just like Thiago Silva did - and it looks like he's pulled his hamstring. Another injury blow for the champions.
6'
PSG are hungry for an early goal as Cavani breaks onto a pass through the Caen back line, but he's flagged offside. That looked marginal, but the striker's movement is sharp today.
5'
Chance for Cavani! The PSG forward leaps well to meet a teasing cross from the right, but his header is straight at Vercoutre. A decent effort, but perhaps he should have done better.
4'
PSG have set the early tempo here, dominating possession as Caen hold their formation well - the hosts look content to allow the visitors possession.
3'
Javier Pastore tries to play an early ball over the top but it flies straight to Caen goalkeeper Remi Vercoutre. Not the best of starts from the PSG man.

We're underway at Stade Michel d'Ornano!
Good evening and welcome to our Live Text Commentary of Caen vs. Paris Saint-Germain!
Sadly there's no Zlatan Ibrahimovic for our viewing pleasure tonight as he's been ruled out with a left heel injury, but here's the rest of tonight's Ligue 1 team news from Stade Michel d'Ornano for you...
With PSG's talisman Ibrahimovic joining club captain Thiago Silva and Adrien Rabiot on the sidelines, and with Marco Verratti suspended, Laurent Blanc's side face what could be a tough test tonight in Normandy. Javier Pastore returns to the side, while Blaise Matuidi drops to the bench.
The hosts, however, are without defenders Felipe Saad (groin) and Emmanuel Imorou (thigh), so we could be in for an interesting battle down that end of the pitch.
It's early days in the Ligue 1 season, but speculation is already mounting that PSG coach Blanc faces a battle for his future following a poor run of form.
The French champions were held to a 1-1 draw by Lyon at the Parc des Princes on Sunday with another underwhelming display, which led club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to give Blanc the dreaded vote of confidence and deny suggestions that the coach's position is under threat.
That draw with Lyon followed 1-1 stalemates with Rennes and Ajax, with PSG twice letting leads slip in the second half, and while the French giants are just three points behind league leaders Marseille, another disappointing result could see those whispers growing louder behind Blanc's back.
But with three points a necessity to calm the boo-boys, PSG face a tough task against Caen, if their 3-3 draw with Toulouse on Saturday is anything to go by.
Less than 10 minutes to go at Stade Michel d'Ornano now - this is a real test of PSG's nerve without key duo Silva and Ibrahimovic. A victory would go a long way to restoring the club's belief ahead of the Champions League tie against Barcelona next week.
The teams are lining up in the tunnel, and we'll be ready to go in less than five minutes.
PSG are in white top, red shorts and white socks, while Caen wear their burgundy and navy blue home shirt - echoes of Barcelona, there.
Edinson Cavani gets his wish of playing in the central position for PSG tonight - can the Uruguay international do enough to convince Blanc that he deserves a run as the club's main target man?
That's the interval, and PSG lead Caen 1-0. The visitors may feel that given their dominance of possession - 72 percent to 28% - and chances they should be out of sight, but Caen have kept themselves in the game and could well have equalised. Blanc will surely be telling his players in the dressing room they can't led another lead slip away in the second half.
The sides are back out in Normandy, and we're almost ready to go again. Can PSG prevent another second-half slip, or will Caen punish the profligacy of Edinson Cavani in particular?
That's it! PSG get the three points with a 2-0 win over Caen in Normandy. The Ligue 1 champions were made to work for the victory and were troubled more than a few times by the hosts, but a superb Lucas Moura strike and a Marquinhos header were enough for Laurent Blanc's men in the end.
The hosts will wonder what could have been as they grew in strength in the second half, but the profligacy of the woeful Mathieu Duhamel ensured Salvatore Sigiru's net was left unbreached. Is that the win to kickstart PSG's season? It could well be. I've been Tom J Doyle - bye for now.
