And the Camp Nou is silenced. Woeful defending. Barcelona have thrown it away with their inability to defend from the cross. But for Getafe, what a result it would be.
90' +2
Codina gets yellow.
Lafita has scored a goal for Getafe! Assist by Gavilán.
GOAL! LAFITA AGAIN!! Barcelona 2-2 Getafe! What a late equaliser! A final nail in the coffin for Barca's title hopes? It's a speculative cross from Gavilan, and Lafita races to the aerial ball and diverts it into the bottom corner. Dreadful defending.
90' +1
Cristian Tello enters the game and replaces Pedro.
Into the first of THREE minutes added on at the end of the second half.
90'
Adriano gets yellow.
YELLOW CARD - Adriano: The Barcelona full-back is booked for unsportsmanlike conduct. Barcelona readying for a substitution.
89'
With minutes to go, there is an air of finality surrounding the game. The tempo has dropped, and Barcelona look content to just hold onto the ball and keep their 2-1 lead as it is.
88'
Substitution - BARCELONA: Xavi is off, after a productive afternoon. He is replaced by Alexandre Song.
87'
A. Song enters the game and replaces Xavi.
86'
Míchel enters the game and replaces M. Lacen.
SUBSTITUTION - Getafe: Mehdi Lacen is off, replaced by Miguel Marcos Madera.
85'
Half-chance for Getafe, as the ball falls kindly to Pablo Sarabia, who hits it early with his left foot. Lovely stop by Pedro Rodriguez of all people, who makes a defensive contribution.
Minute
Description
83'
Adriano does well to find Alexis Sanchez with a neat through ball forward. Alexis, the Getafe defender does well to hold his ground and stop the attacker from teeing up an effort.
81'
Nice move from Xavi, who picks out Alexis on the right. Escudero tracking back to nullify the Barcelona attack, and does so with ease. Less than ten minutes to go at Camp Nou.
79'
PINTO!! What a save! A supreme save by the much-maligned goalkeeper. Barcelona at sixes and sevens, as Escudero and Gavilan combine, the latter who delivers in a brilliant cross for Sarabia on the volley. Anywhere else, that's a goal. In the middle, and Pinto holds the ball gratefully to his chest.
78'
Twelve minutes to go at Camp Nou, plus additional time. By no means a strong performance from Barcelona, who are being met with resistance from their relegation-threatened guests.
77'
MESSI! What a strike. And what a save from Julio Cesar. Barcelona counter at will, as the Argentine latches onto a superb ball over the top from Alves. Cesar rushes out, as Messi seeks to control first, before attempting the chip, but the goalkeeper puts him off and diverts it over the bar.
76'
Gavilan causing a bit of trouble on the far side, as a speculative cross into the box is turned behind by Pinto. The corner is driven into the middle by Gavilan, who cannot pick out a team-mate. Barcelona on the counter.
75'
Getafe holding on in the face of sustained pressure from the Catalan side. The visitors continuously wasting possession, and they are being punished in the midfield. Neither side can afford defeat this afternoon.
73'
Barcelona not happy at a foul on Alexis Sanchez, just outside the area by Escudero, but Getafe get the ball away. Long ball tactics deployed by the hosts now, as they attempt to take advantage of space.
72'
ALVES! That should've been 3-1. A clear chance for Barcelona. A superb ball from Messi who, on the edge of the area, curls at the far post for Alves to run into. Reaches the header, but diverts it wide. Golden chance.
70'
Sarabia is feeling the effects of an awkward fall under pressure from Marc Bartra. The Getafe man is limping, as his side waste another free-kick opportunity.
68'
Pedro Mosquera enters the game and replaces Sammir.
As it stands, Barcelona would be one point behind Atletico Madrid, having played a game more. Diego Simeone's men take on Levante tomorrow, with Real Madrid having two games on Martino's men.
67'
A. Sánchez has scored a goal for Barcelona!
GOAL! Barcelona 2-1 Getafe. And it has worked! Immediate reaction from the hosts, as ALEXIS SANCHEZ slams in after a defensive deflection from namesake Alexis. Good pressure in the penalty box, as Getafe just failed to clear a threatening cross from the right.
66'
Cesc Fàbregas enters the game and replaces J. Mascherano.
65'
Gavilán gets yellow.
SUBSTITUTION: Barcelona - Javier Mascherano is off for Cesc Fabregas. An interesting change from Tata Martino.
64'
YELLOW CARD: Jaime Gavilan - the substitute is booked for a rather silly foul on Dani Alves.
62'
Poor communication from the referee and assistant referee once again. The linesman had flagged for a goal-kick, but the referee has signaled for a corner.
61'
Getafe are on the counter, and it opens up for them in a four against three situation. Lafita driving forward, with Sarabia on the wing. Drilled in from the right towards Lafita in the centre, but Mascherano gets the job done.
59'
Getafe have a free-kick near the corner flag. First real chance of the second half for them, as Gavilan curls it in towards the far post. Over Pinto, and out for a goal-kick.
57'
MESSI! It was all working until the finish. Lovely dribbling from Messi, who has Pedro on his left, and uses the winger before getting the ball back inside the box. Side-steps the defender, but his shot is well saved by the goalkeeper.
56'
Xavi with another incredible pass for Iniesta, who dummies the ball past the oncoming opponent to create space, but they are forced back as Getafe reinforce their defensive lines.
55'
Barcelona's substitutes warming up, including Cesc Fabregas, who was overlooked for a starting position by Tata Martino for this match. Getafe are yet to trouble Pinto in this second period so far.
53'
MESSI!! Off the crossbar! The hosts are denied once again. Bartra picks up Pedro on the right hand side, and the winger wonderfully measures a fine cross for Messi, who diverts the ball with his upper body onto the bar.
52'
Barcelona twice denied in the last few minutes, as Tata Martino's men pick up the pace and turn on the style. They are getting closer to a second it seems.
50'
MESSI! What an effort. And a super stop by the goalkeeper. Getafe do not clear the ball, and a long pass is chested down into the path of the Argentine, whose right-footed effort is palmed away by the goalkeeper, and then cleared behind.
49'
INIESTA! A tame header, making it an easy stop for Cesar. Lovely movement from Alexis Sanchez, who centres it for Iniesta. The ball is bounced down by the midfielder, and easily caught by the goalkeeper.
48'
And again, Barcelona press forward in search of locating inches of space to work with. Iniesta and Busquets combine with a one-two, as the former attempts to drive into the box. Lacen with the interception.
47'
Barca start the second half strongly as Alexis Sanchez attempts to dribble past Escudero, but the cross into the box is well cleared by the defender.
46'
Underway in Barcelona, and the hosts need three points to stay in the title race. A draw would more or less eliminate them, and leave Real Madrid and Atletico to fight it out for the title.
45' +4
HALF-TIME: FC Barcelona 1-1 Getafe.
45' +3
ALEXIS! What a chance. Barcelona could've retaken the lead just before half-time. Iniesta does well to turn and pick out Alexis with a superb through pass. The Chilean has Messi in the centre, but his through ball goes wide. Frustrating.
45' +2
Gavilán enters the game and replaces Adrián Colunga.
SUBSTITUTION - Getafe: Adrian Colunga is off, tweaking his groin muscle with Jaime Gavilan coming on.
45' +1
We are into one minute of injury time, but there is a Getafe player down, as Adrian Colunga seems hurt after tussling with Marc Bartra on the near side.
45'
Another look at Getafe's conscientious equaliser, and it seems that Barcelona have the right to feel aggrieved. Lafita had an elbow on Busquets, as well as holding his shirt to gain space before volleying into the goal. The assistant referee was right in flagging for a foul.
44'
Sarabia with good control on the left hand side, aiming to hold the ball until options are available, but the Barcelona defence gets the ball away in time.
43'
For Getafe, a point (as it stands) would be of massive help in the fight against relegation. They sit precariously above the danger zone as we enter the final two weeks of the season. Can Contra's men hold on?
42'
Lafita gets yellow.
YELLOW CARD: Angel Lafita - the goalscorer is now in the book, the third player to have been cautioned in this first half.
41'
Barcelona attempting to retake the lead, as Xavi pings a sumptuous ball forward for Alexis Sanchez, but he runs narrowly offside. Good spot from the assistant on the near side.
39'
YELLOW CARD - Dani Alves: The right-back is booked as frustration begins to boil over.
38'
Dani Alves gets yellow.
NO! THE REFEREE HAS GIVEN A GOAL! Getafe's goal stands. And we are level at the Camp Nou. The referee has overruled his assistant referee.
Well, controversy reigns, but it does seem that the referee has got the decision correct. From the free-kick, the ball is scooped up towards Lafita, who holds off the defender and strikes low into the bottom corner past Pinto. No foul in that, despite the assistant flagging. The referee goes over, and instead awards the goal.
37'
Lafita has scored a goal for Getafe! Assist by Pablo Sarabia.
GOAL?! NO! Drama ensuing at the Camp Nou. Lafita diverts the ball into the goal from the set-piece, but the assistant referee has put his flag up, likely for a foul.
36'
J. Mascherano gets yellow.
YELLOW CARD - Mascherano: The Argentine defender slips and catches Sammir who is streaking away towards goal. It was a cynical foul, and he is lucky to have gotten a yellow, and not a red.
34'
The referee has ordered Barcelona to re-take a free-kick near the halfway line, which causes a bit of frustration to Xavi, but e does conform to the referee's wishes as the hosts push forward in search of the second goal.
32'
Barcelona are now upto their full complement as Busquets, who picked up a muscle twinge as he tussled with Sammir, and Mascherano both back on the pitch. 1-0 as we pass the half-hour mark at Camp Nou.
31'
SARABIA!! Just over the bar. A fine opportunity, and a decent strike from the free-kick, which has Pinto stretching, but flies over the bar. Perhaps not the best option, but good effort nonetheless.
30'
Two players down, and requiring treatment for Barcelona. That is Busquets and Mascherano, and Barcelona are temporarily down to nine men while Getafe take this free-kick from 25 yards out. Martino is furious on the touchline.
29'
Free-kick to Getafe, just outside the area as Adriano chops down Lafita, with the referee, but there is a situation unfolding near the half-way line, as Sergio Busquets is down and requires treatment.
28'
Break in play as Barcelona have a man down. It is Dani Alves, who is involved in a collision with Alexis, the Getafe defender as he attempted to clear the ball away from danger. He is limping, but should be OK to continue.
26'
PEDRO! Chance to make it 2-0, but it's a wonderful save from the goalkeeper. Pedro beats Valera on the far side and races into the box. Cuts in and turns the defender, but his low shot is blocked by the goalkeeper.
25'
Patience is paying off for Barcelona, as Getafe begin to crumble in defence. Space is being afforded oh so easily on the flanks, and the hosts have the pace and creativity to punish such lapses in concentration.
24'
It is Lionel Messi's 28th league goal of the season, and his FIFTH against Getafe in 2014 alone! He has scored six in a row for Barcelona against the Madrid-based side.
23'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Dani Alves.
GOAL! Barcelona 1-0 Getafe - MESSI!! Fine move, fine goal. A superb through ball picks out Alves who again is afforded a lot of space on the right. Perfect weighted pass into the penalty area, and Messi on the end of it, strokes the ball high into Julio Cesar's net.
22'
Alves and Xavi combine to create space, as Iniesta attempts to release the Brazilian on the overlap, but a superb interception from Sergio Escudero scuppers the move. Getafe pinned back at the moment.
20'
Barcelona rush forward on the counter attack, in a four against four situation after the corner, but Lacen does superbly well to track back and intercept a lofted ball towards the path of Messi from Alexis Sanchez.
19'
No is the answer, as the corner is delivered towards the centre, but Rafa cannot get a foot onto the loose ball, which is brought away by Iniesta after the Getafe player collides with Pinto.
18'
Getafe win their first corner of the game, courtesy of Lafita, who does well to force Barcelona in conceding the set-piece. They've been on the back foot, can they make it work?
17'
A very nonchalant opening to this game it would seem, as Barcelona are happy to start this game patiently, dictating a slow tempo going forward, hoping for now, that they press Getafe into a mistake.
15'
Messi more or less quiet in these opening stages, as Alexis Sanchez attempts to latch onto a lofted pass into the area, but it is turned behind for a corner, which is subsequently wasted by the hosts.
14'
Barcelona attempting to pick out a through-ball just outside of the penalty box, but the ball finds Alves once more, who is finding space out wide. Another cross in from the Brazil right-back, and it's taken well by the goalkeeper.
12'
Julio Cesar hoofs the ball forward in search of the striker, but the hosts recover the ball well. Worked into the path of Alves, who drills in a cross, but it is cleared behind for a corner.
11'
Barcelona pressing incessantly, forcing Valera into a mistake as he attempts to avoid the ball from going out for a corner. He manages so, but fails to clear the ball accordingly from there as Barcelona keep the ball in the opposite half.
9'
ADRIANO! Lovely movement from Barcelona, who are finding it difficult to break down Getafe in these early stages. A lovely ball over the top picks out Adriano arriving on the left. But his cross (shot?) whistles narrowly past the goalkeeper.
8'
Half-chance for Barcelona. Messi picks it up deep, but it is blocked off by Adrian. Xavi recovers the loose ball, finding Pedro on the right who works some space for the Argentine, but it is quickly shut down by the defender.
7'
Getafe are momentarily down to ten men as Mehdi Lacen goes off to receive treatment. Play continues meanwhile as Barcelona drive forward, maintaining possession in the meanwhile.
6'
Break in play as a Getafe player is down. Mehdi Lacen is feeling the pain, pointing to his ankle, as he went over somewhat awkwardly. The former Racing Santander man should be OK to continue.
4'
Iniesta making good progress just outside of the box, as he attempts to lift a header into the path of Pedro arriving to his right. Getafe claim possession and break, but Lafita is unable to get in front of Mascherano.
3'
Oh, a risky header from Juan Valera. Another lovely cross in off the right, from Dani Alves, and the defender thumps a diving header behind for a corner.
2'
Barcelona settle into their rhythm as the ball is cleared by Adrian. Good movement in off the right by Pedro, who hit the hat-trick in the two sides' reverse league meeting this season.

UNDERWAY IN BARCELONA! We are underway in the early game of the weekend, as the hosts attempt to close the gap on Atletico Madrid at the top.
Good afternoon, and welcome to LIVE! La Liga coverage. Today's encounter sees FC Barcelona take on Getafe at Camp Nou, as Gerardo Martino's men attempt to close the gap on Champions League finalists Atletico at the top.
It is the first home game of Barcelona since the news was announced last week that former coach Tito Vilanova had passed away after illness. The 45-year-old will be remembered this afternoon, and Barcelona will wear a special jersey for the occasion.
The Catalan side are aiming to pick up their third straight win to counter the three consecutive defeats they suffered before that. Messi and co. picked up a 3-2 win over Villarreal last weekend, coming from 2-0 down to keep the title race on.
The equation is quite simple for Barcelona. Keep winning, and hope that Real and Atletico slip up this weekend. Failure for the Catalans and los Blancos this weekend will effectively hand the title to Diego Simeone's side.
Getafe meanwhile, are embroiled in a six-way fight for the final two relegation spots. Real Betis were condemned last weekend, and Getafe - who face UEFA Europa League finalists Sevilla next week - also need as many points as possible to maintain their Liga status.
Cosmin Contra's side are unbeaten in their last two fixtures, but winning at Camp Nou is unlikely if recent history is anything to go by. Getafe have not won in their last 11 trips to Barcelona, last recording a win in any fixture in 2011.
Barcelona have faced Getafe three times this season. In the Liga fixture, the Catalans won 5-2, thanks to a hat-trick from Pedro followed by a double from Fabregas. In the Copa del Rey, Barcelona won 6-0 on aggregate.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
FC BARCELONA: Pinto; Alves, Mascherano, Bartra, Adriano; Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta; Alexis, Messi, Pedro
It's a superb sunny day at the Camp Nou, as a huge banner is unfurled on the far side of the pitch - baring the image of Tito Vilanova with the words "Per Sempre Eternal". It's a poignant tribute indeed.
A minute's silence is held for Tito Vilanova.
Impeccably observed, as the Barcelona players appear visibly moved by the tribute for their former coach, who led them to the 2013 title.
HT: BAR 1-1 GEF: An interesting first half unfolding at Camp Nou. Messi's 23rd minute goal put Barcelona well on the way, but a controversial equaliser from Lafita levels the score at the break.
The sides are out for the second half.
FT: BAR 2-2 GET: And Lafita's equaliser a minute before time leaves Barca's title dream in tatters. Boos all around the stadium, but it is a result which gives Getafe a huge boost for survival. A fantastic encounter.
