Swansea have looked the more dangerous in last ten minutes, with the likes of Shelvey and Pozuelo popping up in dangerous areas. Norwich will be devastated to leave today without a share of the spoils, so Hughton's men will be wanting to keep things tight.
90' +1
Great covering from Olsson! Shelvey plays a one-two with Pozuelo, before the Spaniard races into the box and gets to the byline. The Swedish left-back slides in well to put the ball behind for a corner. Ruddy claims the resulting set piece.
90'
Yet again, Shelvey is in acres of space in an advanced position, but his teammate neglect to give him the ball! Another attack from the away side breaks down, as Lamah's pass from the left rolls under Pozuelo's boot.
89'
SHELVEY! Swansea briefly claim for handball, but the strike cannoned into Bassong from close range! Good block from the Norwich captain, to deny the visitors a late winner!
87'
BONY! Wide of the target from the Ivory Coast striker, with Shelvey in acres of space on the edge of the box! The England international is complaining, but his teammate may have thought that he'd strayed offside. Narrowly wide of the post with a placed finish.
86'
Frustrating minutes for both sides, as either outfit look conscious of conceding late on. Three points would be ideal for two stuttering teams, but to lose would be disastrous. Cagey end to the game here at Carrow Road.
84'
Just over five minutes left on the clock, and Hughton has put his faith in young Murphy to try and find Norwich a winner. Both managers would be happy with a point, especially Laudrup, but the Canaries could really do with taking maximum points from their home games if they are to have a successful season.
83'
J. Murphy enters the game and replaces N. Redmond.
R. Lamah enters the game and replaces Pablo Hernández.
82'
Poor delivery from De Guzman! The Netherlands midfielder puts the ball out for a corner from deep, he's not had the best game here this afternoon whatsoever. Both sides look a little clueless as to how they're going to find the second half's first goal, and are looking to their benches as a result.
80'
REDMOND! The teenager is gifted the ball by Bony, which allows for the former Birmingham man to try his luck once again with his left foot. He balloons his shot well wide of the target.
Minute
Description
79'
Good block by Williams! Fer drives into space at the edge of the box, before letting fly from 25 yards! The Swansea captain saves his keeper the hassle by hoofing the strike away with his boot!
78'
BONY! The substitute is found by a direct ball upfield, nearly getting the better of Turner. The Norwich centre-half manages to unwittingly nod the ball back to Ruddy.
76'
L. Becchio enters the game and replaces J. Elmander.
HOOPER! FANTASTIC SAVE! Vorm dives athletically to his left hand side, to palm away the goalscorer's second effort, after a flick on from Fer finds the Norwich striker in a pocket of space inside the penalty area. That looked destined to nestle in the far corner, what a great stop.
75'
W. Bony enters the game and replaces Michu.
MISTAKE! Vorm tries to punch the ball off the head of Jordi Amat, but flaps at the clearance, almost permitting Fer to turn the loose ball into an empty net! The tight angle works in Swansea's favour.
74'
FER! The Dutchman is found with a pull-back, but can't quite divert his header towards goal, allowing for Williams to clear Swansea's lines. Both managers are beginning to look to their bench, with Michu looking rather disappointed to be substituted.
73'
Around twenty minutes left to play, and it's exceptionally hard to decipher which way this game will turn next. Neither goalkeeper has been particularly troubled, and both sides have players who could score with a moment of individual brilliance.
71'
Norwich have kicked back into gear in the last ten minutes, as this game continues to swing in favour of either side. Redmond continues to be the main threat for Hughton's men, but they've moved the ball nicely at time to quickly transition up the field.
70'
ELMANDER! Great work down the right flank from Redmond yet again, as the midfielder easily has the beating of Davies. The Swedish international drives to the near post, but fails to make contact with Redmond's low drive of a cross!
68'
OFF THE BAR! Turner is denied by the woodwork, before the rebound deflects off the back of Amat's head before heading out of play for a corner! Norwich unfortunate to not be in the lead for the first time there, it was a very clever attempt from Turner.
66'
No clear chances for either side, as both outfits struggle to find that cutting edge. Michu has been the only player who looks likely to find a defence-splitting pass for Swansea, with Redmond's electric runs being the hosts' only real dangerous outlet.
64'
Àngel Rangel gets yellow.
Brilliant last ditch sliding challenge by Bassong! Michu played a delightful through ball into the path of Hernandez, who was running shoulder-to-shoulder with Bassong, but the Cameroonian defender committed himself and stabbed the loose ball out of play for a throw-in.
62'
M. Vorm gets yellow.
Vorm continues to take his time over his goal-kicks, but Michael Oliver still isn't penalised the Swansea's goalkeeper. The home crowd are getting on his back at every given opportunity, he's really wasting time.
61'
Good recovering header from Whittaker! A clipped ball over the top by Shelvey, in search of Michu, is nodding back composedly to Ruddy by the Scot. If he hadn't tracked the Spaniard's run, Norwich would have been in trouble there.
59'
HERNANDEZ! The Spanish midfielder finds himself in a central position, before turning well and playing a one-two with Pozuelo. He can't keep his effort down, however, and the ball arrows out of play with Rangel complaining that he was in plenty of space on the right hand side.
57'
WHITTAKER! The Scottish right-back bombs down the right hand side, before being encouraged to shoot by the home crowd. No Swansea players are prepared to close down the onrushing defender, but he drags his eventual strike wide of the near post.
56'
Vorm is facing the wrath of the Carrow Road crowd, as the Dutchman is really taking his time over any kicks. Despite his side being level, the Swansea goalkeeper appears to be under instruction to slow the game down whenever possible.
55'
Cañas gets yellow.
54'
ELMANDER! Great work down the right hand side from Redmond allows for the 19-year-old to whip in a devilishly powerful cross from the byline, but it can only be comfortably turned into Vorm's arms by the Swede.
53'
SHELVEY! A looping effort from the midfielder is easy for Ruddy to claim, but Laudrup will be pleasing with how Swansea have come back into this game.
51'
Great delivery from Shelvey! The former Liverpool man whips in a testing cross from the right hand side, forcing Ruddy to come out and claim the loose ball under pressure from Williams. The Swans captain almost manages to rob it from the glove of the Englishman.
50'
HERNANDEZ! Excellent block from Olsson, who stands up tall to make lift hard for the Spaniard! Lovely passage of play from Swansea, as Michu opens up play to the left hand side, before a back post cross is cushioned back to the winger.
48'
BASSONG! The central defender rose excellently to meet yet another corner, but can only nod wide of the target once again! He had Amat directly in front of him, perhaps impeding his view, but the Norwich captain will be disappointed with that effort!
47'
Good clearance from Amat! A driven front post cross from Olsson is dealt with well by the Spaniard, and Norwich have started the second half brightly, harrying Swansea and making it difficult for the away side to find Shelvey and Michu.
46'
We're underway for the second half! Swansea have plenty to do if they are to overturn the home side's momentum, after Hooper's well-timed first half stoppage time equaliser.
45' +6
REDMOND! The 19-year-old dances inside from the right hand side, before firing a left-footed strike wide of the far post! Norwich have really come to live in stoppage time, it'll be interesting to see if they can keep up this momentum in the second half.
45' +5
Well, Norwich have their equaliser, and what a clean strike of a ball that was! Not ideal for Swansea, who have become a little bit tame since the injury to Dyer, and Norwich are in the ascendancy.
45' +4
G. Hooper has scored a goal for Norwich City! Assist by J. Elmander.
GOOOOOOOOAL! WHAT A GOAL FROM HOOPER! Brilliant finish from the former Celtic man, finding the back of the net with a dipping volley straight over the top of Vorm! Excellent knock-down by Elmander, and what a finish that is!
45' +3
JOHNSON! The former Leeds man attempts a long-range effort from 30 yards, despite having options to his left and his right. His teammates complain, and he apologises, that was a bizarre decision to shoot from there. Plenty of white shirts ahead of him, and he can only drag the shot wide of the post.
45' +1
There will be six minutes of stoppage time in the first half, due to the injury of Nathan Dyer. Still time for Norwich to find a confidence-boosting equaliser.
45'
GREAT DEFENDING! Williams makes an excellent block on the line, to divert a goal-bound effort over the crossbar! He celebrates, that's how much it means to him. The next set piece is met by Bassong, who thumps his header narrowly wide of the target. Close for Norwich!
44'
Pozuelo enters the game and replaces N. Dyer.
We're only a minute from the end of the first half, but there will be a substantial amount of stoppage time in light of Dyer's injury. Hopefully we'll see him recover soon.
43'
A lengthy break in play before we can continue, with Dyer still being removed from the field. His ankle looked to bend into a very uncomfortable position, and this injury is being treated with the utmost importance. That could have been a very, very nasty injury. Pozuelo will replace him.
41'
It seems to be an ankle ligament problem or worse for Dyer, who saw all of Bassong's weight fall onto his ankle, forcing it to buckle underneath him. That looked rather nasty, I don't think we'll be seeing Dyer in action for a while.
40'
Nathan Dyer goes down injured after being penalised for supposedly fouling Bassong, despite the Norwich defender seemingly being all over the diminutive winger. The stretcher is straight onto the field for the goalscorer, and it looks as though his afternoon has come to a premature end.
39'
Just over five minutes until the break, and an equaliser for the hosts would do wonders for their confidence. Norwich have managed to get the visitors on the back foot occasionally, but Swansea have generally enjoyed the better possession.
37'
Shaky stuff in the space of ten minutes from Williams has allowed Norwich to get their tails up. Hooper has looked capable of finding the net while he's been sparingly in possession, and rightfully so, he's got three goals in his last five Norwich outings.
35'
HOOPER! The former Scunthorpe strikes fires narrowly over the crossbar after robbing Williams of possession on the edge of the area. Vorm does well to pressure the Norwich danger man, doing just enough to force the Englishman to fire wide of the target.
34'
Swansea continue to be the side to move the ball well, with purpose, while Norwich are often being forced to go long in search of Elmander or Hooper. Dyer gets in behind the Norwich defence once again after another accurate long ball from defence, but the winger is forced back the way that he came by good defending.
32'
Poor delivery from Olsson! The Swedish defender beats Dyer well, before his eventual ball into the box bounces straight into the hands of Vorm. Elmander and Hooper will be wondering what exactly the former Blackburn Rovers left-back was aiming for there.
31'
Yet another poor ball from an unbalanced De Guzman almost plays Amat into trouble, but the Spaniard slides in with force to clear Swansea's lines. Constant pressure from both sides is forcing plenty of errors.
29'
REDMOND! A very audacious effort from the Englishman is blocked by Davies. The chance opening up as a result of a poor ball from Rangel to Williams, before the Swansea captain took a terrible touch. Not the most assuring stuff from the visiting defence.
27'
HOOPER! The former Celtic man is found with a looping back post header by Howson, but he can't turn it towards the target! The ball bounces wide of the post, but that's encouraging for the Canaries, they've managed to pick out their isolated frontman.
25'
This first half has been rather even thus far, though Swansea have caused plenty more problems for their opposition. Vorm has had little to do, while Hooper and Elmander have been relatively anonymous, being starved of service.
23'
MICHU! The Spanish forward sees a shot from the edge of the box blocked by Turner, who stood up tall to divert the ball back in the direction that it came. The Swansea hitman has been causing plenty of problems thus far, dropping deep intelligently and linking up play.
22'
Great defending from Rangel! The right-back throws himself into a firm challenge on the ever-physical Fer, preventing the Dutchman from getting beyond him to the byline. The Netherlands international tangles with Dyer afterwards, and the Swansea man gets to his feet rather gingerly, holding his face.
20'
The home crowd are really getting behind their side, encouraging their side to press and harry a Swansea side who are getting into their stride. Dyer and Hernandez are causing real problems when they cut inside, with their pace forcing the likes of Turner into awkward challenges.
18'
De Guzman gives the ball away yet again, and the Dutchman isn't looking the most composed on the ball this afternoon. He nearly plays Williams into trouble with a poorly-weighted pass, but the Welshman isn't about to take any chances, hoofing the ball upfield.
17'
A searching ball from Hernandez which was looking for Shelvey bounces through to Ruddy with ease. The Swansea midfield is rotating with such regularity that the hosts are having real trouble keeping tracks of the likes of Michu and Shelvey. The former Charlton teenager is moving between the lines unchecked.
15'
An all-action opening 15 minutes here at Carrow Road, with end-to-end football and the power balance shifting between the two sides with regularity. The support from the home crowd is vociferous, and we've got a game with real goalscoring potential on our hands!
14'
HANDBALL! The Norwich fans and players alike claim for the penalty, after Rangel accidentally handballs a Fer header! The referee doesn't point to the spot, however, and rightly so. The Spaniard could have done nothing about that, he wasn't even facing the ball!
12'
N. Dyer has scored a goal for Swansea City! Assist by A. Williams.
GOOOOOOAL! SWANSEA LEAD 1-0 THANKS TO DYER! The pacey winger is sent through on goal by Williams, before lifting the ball over the onrushing Ruddy with ease! Bassong should have denied the diminutive Swansea man with a header there.
11'
DE GUZMAN! The Netherlands international tries a very ambitious free-kick effort from 30 yards, but the midfielder fires the dead ball high and wide. No clear chances for either side yet.
9'
Another set piece is fired straight into the gloves of Ruddy, and Swansea have been wasteful with their opening corners and free-kicks. After a frantic start to the game, Swansea have settled the better of the two side, knocking the ball around with confidence and forcing Turner into two good interceptions.
7'
Good claim by Ruddy! The England international races off his line well to claim Swansea's first free-kick delivery of the game, staying strong to catch the ball over the heads of two Swansea players.
6'
Swansea are getting into their rhythm, knocking the ball around in intricate triangles with only one touch each. Norwich have given the ball away a few times in quick succession on the edge of their penalty area. Not the most convincing start from the home side.
5'
HERNANDEZ! The Spaniard works well to rob the ball from Turner, before cutting inside from the left hand side and firing a low drive narrowly wide of Ruddy's near post. Good work rate from the former Valencia man, and that effort wasn't too far away from testing Ruddy for the first time.
4'
Norwich are pressing high up the field in the early stages, forcing Swansea constantly backwards and into unforced errors. The away side normally look extremely comfortable on the ball, but are looking a tiny bit flustered in the opening minutes here.
3'
Redmond has already shown that he has the beating of Ben Davies, knocking the ball past the Welsh left-back before racing around his marker. The 19-year-old will be key for the hosts tonight, his ability to outpace his man before whipping in a decent cross will be a great supply line for feeding Hooper.
2'
A frantic start to the game here at Carrow Road! Elmander sees a shot blocked by Williams, after some pin-ball-esque football in the centre of the park! The home crowd are already getting behind their side, perhaps sensing some frailties in the Swansea line-up after De Guzman gives possession away with his first touch of the ball.
1'
We are underway in the first half! Both respective outfits can't afford to lose here today, otherwise they're at threat of being sat in a precarious position heading into 2014!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of one of the Premier League's early kick-offs, as Norwich host Swansea at Carrow Road. The visitors progressed into the next round of the Europa League on Thursday after a lacklustre performance against St. Gallen, and this could be an ideal opportunity for Chris Hughton's men to take advantage of the fabled 'European hangover'.
I'm Simon Harrison, and I will be keeping you fully up to date with proceedings from Carrow Road, where Norwich will be looking to continue their impressive home form. If the home side are to do well this season, it will be dependent on how many points they can get on their own turf - on their travels they've been poor. Michael Laudrup names a strong side after plenty of rotation in the Europa League.
TEAM NEWS: Michu returns to Swansea's line-up after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, with Nathan Dyer, Angel Rangel and Ashley Williams re-installed after being rested versus St. Gallen. Bassong celebrates his new long-term deal at the club with a start, with Elmander looking to play off Gary Hooper in attack. Chico misses out for the away side after picking up an ankle injury on Thursday.
Both sides could do with a win today, to push themselves further from the relegation mire. The Canaries are only four points from the relegation zone, and will want to be able to stop nervously looking over their shoulders. Swansea sit in mid-table, but should Michael Laudrup's side want to experience Europa League football again next season, the Swans need to push on.
In their past five games in all competitions, Swansea have only managed to pick up a solitary win. Losses to Valencia, Manchester City and St. Gallen have caused the Swans to stutter, but today is a perfect opportunity to get back on track. In the same period, Norwich have picked up three victories, two of which have been played at Carrow Road. Home form is key.
The teams are taking to the field, and it sounds like a good atmosphere here at Carrow Road! Plenty of expectation from the home fans, who probably would back their side to pick up a win here this afternoon. With Michu returning to the Swansea line-up, that fact alone is enough to provide the travelling fans with a sense of optimism.
HALF TIME! What a great period of stoppage time for the Canaries! A 49th minute strike from Gary Hooper has dragged Hughton's side back into the game, after a lovely lobbed finish from Dyer gave the visitors an early lead.
Since opening the scoring, Dyer was forced off on a stretcher after landing awkwardly on his ankle, giving Norwich six minutes of stoppage time to find a first half equaliser. And boy, did they find it. A sweet half-volley from Hooper left Vorm with absolutely no chance.
Despite neither goalkeeper having a save to make in the first half, we find ourselves with a score draw at the break. Tidy finishes from both Dyer and Hooper have left Ruddy and Vorm little to do apart from policing their area and picking the ball out of their net.
Norwich look in prime position to kick on in the second half, after their late equaliser and the injury to the bright Nathan Dyer. Laudrup will need to have a few words with his side in the dressing room, they've looked flustered in possession at times, and have allowed Michu to become a passenger in the game.
FULL TIME! A point is the fair result at Carrow Road, as Gary Hooper's excellent half volley cancelled out Dyer's opening goal. The game's dampener came in the form of the Swansea goalscorer picked up a suspected broken ankle, but both managers will be happy with a draw.
Norwich had plenty of chances and the better of the second half, but were denied by a combination of the woodwork and a great save from Michel Vorm. Swansea had strong spells and looked comfortable in possession, but neither Michu nor Bony saw too much of the ball in advanced areas.
A draw at home is perhaps not what Norwich would have hoped for, but a late surge from the away side perhaps will make the home fans glad of picking up anything at all. Swansea continue to look for an elusive win to get them back on track.
That's all we have time for from Carrow Road, where Norwich and Swansea played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw, with a spectacular strike from Hooper the pick of the goals. I've been Simon Harrison, and I hope to see you all again next time.
