Penalty goal scored by T. Müller for Bayern Munich!
GOOOAAAALLL!!!! MULLER SLOTS HOME!!! Cool as you like, Muller places the ball into the bottom left-hand corner, sending Hitz the wrong way.
90' +3
PENALTY!!! Ostrzolek is penalised, extremely harshly, for a handball as Robben tries to cross. Muller has the chance to add the icing on the unbeaten record cake.
90'
Into two minutes of stoppage time. Milik glances a header wide for Augsburg when he should have done better. It's all academic at this stage now though.
89'
That's an even better save from Hitz! Mandzukic finds Robben with an inch-perfect delivery and the Dutchman's header is low into the ground. The keeper gets down tremendously to tip the ball round the post for a corner. Great stop.
87'
KIRCHHOFF!! The former Mainz man hasn't scored in the Bundesliga yet, and he still hasn't as Hitz pulls off a decent stop after the midfielder latches onto Ribery's cut-back.
85'
Into the last five minutes we go then. Bayern have looked like breaking that Bundesliga record ever since Boateng slammed home the opener and it will be confirmed in just a few moments.
83'
A mexican wave breaks out amongst the home fans. Augsburg's resistance has finally been broken here in the second period and Bayern are now enjoying moving the ball about the park with very little resistance.
81'
J. Kirchhoff enters the game and replaces T. Kroos.
Pep makes his final change too. Toni Kroos is off after another accomplished display. Jan Kirchhoff is on in his place.
79'
S. Mölders enters the game and replaces K. Vogt.
Perhaps too little, too late, but Weinzierl throws on his last attacking option as Sascha Molders enters the fray for the final ten minutes.
78'
The understanding between Alaba and Ribery on the right for Bayern in something that has really blossomed over the last couple seasons and it leads to moments such as this one. Ribery spots the Austrian flying past him out of the corner of his eye and scoops a magnificent ball over the back four and right into Alaba's running line. Beautiful scenes.
Minute
Description
76'
Milik and Dante tangle in the box and it ends with the Augsburg striker throwing himelf to the ground. Thankfully, none of the officials are buying it and the no.9 has a furious Brazilian in his face when he eventually gets back to his feet.
74'
T. Müller enters the game and replaces Rafinha.
Hong Jeong-Ho enters the game and replaces J. Morávek.
Lahm takes out Ostrzolek in full flight bu the officials are unmoved and allow play to continue. That actually looked a little sore and the Augsburg full-back remains on the turf for now.
72'
HOW DOES THAT STAY OUT?! Alaba is slipped in down the left and has all the time in the world to pick out one of Mandzukic, Robben or Ribery. In the end he plumps for the general direction of Robben and Mandzukic but both get in each others way and Hitz is relieved to scoop up the tamest of effort from Robben.
70'
Robben is at it again, clearly making up for lost time having been left out the starting line up. He pounces on a loose ball in the area and tries his luck again, only for Klavan to foil him once more. The ball ricochets off the Estonian's knee and smacks Jan Moravek in the face before trickling back to Hitz. The midfielder has taken a fair whack there.
68'
Almost an immediate impact from Robben! FCB break quickly and the ball is shifted onto the right wing to allow the Dutchman his first touch. He quickly takes his second, and third, and continues as he tries to take on the whole Augsburg back four, his shot eventually blocked by Klavan's brave block.
67'
Indeed it is as the 'Flying Dutchman' Arjen Robben is on in Gotze's place. There is no let up for Augsburg this afternoon.
66'
A. Robben enters the game and replaces M. Götze.
Another corner for Bayern is swung in by Gotze but Javi Martinez can't direct his header on goal, placing it wide. That looks like it will be Gotze's last action too.
64'
Andre Hahn gets a shot away from the edge of the area but he drags it wide of Neuer's left-hand post. I'm struggling to think of a save Germany's number one has had to make today.
62'
This never looked like being a taxing half for the hosts but Augsburg have come out and are making a real go of it. They've still got more options on the bench in the form of Sascha Molders too if things get interesting.
60'
A huge cheer goes around the stadium in Munich. A goal? Yes. But not here. The home fans catch wind of BVB conceding at Wolfsburg. They were 1-0 up at the break. A good day for Bayern is turning into a great day by the minute.
58'
What's this? This is actually beginning to resemble a period of sustained pressure from the visitors. They play the ball calmly about midfield, bringing the full-backs into the attack too. That possibly proves a mistake though Matthias Ostrzolek's first instinct when he picks up the ball is to slam it high over the crossbar. Impressive in rugby, but not here.
56'
Half a chance for Augsburg! Andre Hahn clips a beautiful ball over the top for new-boy Milik to run onto. He has David Alaba for company and hurries his effort on goal, which is effectively blocked by the Austrian. The ball just wouldn't drop quickly enough for the substitute there.
54'
A. Milik enters the game and replaces Halil Altıntop.
Halil Alintop is off for Augsburg as Arkadiusz Milik is on in his place.
52'
Claims for handball inside the Augsburg box as Lahm tries to get on the end of Alaba's cross. Klavan is across with the FCB captain and his hand is in a fairly unorthodox position but man in the middle Peter Gagelmann is happy to wave play on.
50'
Some intricate build up play from Die Roten down the right is undone by themselves yet again. This time Gotze is the guilty party for introducing one pass too many to the move, catching out Toni Kroos as he tries to lay him off on the edge of the area.
48'
Marwen Hitz gets his first touch of the half as he gratefully collects Gotze's deflected cross in his own six-yard-box.
46'
We are back up and running at the Allianz Arena and almost a disastrous opening to the half for Augsburg! Estonia's Ragnar Klavan miscontrols the ball and allows Ribery to scarper in and pick up the pieces. An over-elaborate backheel from the Frenchman puts the brakes on any goalscoring opportunity though.
45'
There's no added time at the end of the first half and that will do us for the opening period!
42'
F. Ribéry has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
GOOOAAALLL!!!! RIBERY BLASTS HOME!!!! That foul was right on the edge of the area and could have easily have been a penalty. In the end it's as good as a spot kick, as Ribery dusts himself down and blasts the free kick into the top corner. Out of reach of Hitz. Bayern are out of sight.
41'
That mission impossible could be about to get even trickier as Ribery is tripped on the edge of the area and Die Roten have a free kick within striking range yet again.
40'
It's still only a one goal lead, and if Augsburg can make an attack count then we could be in for a bit of a spectacle. As it is though, it still looks like mission impossible for the away side.
38'
Augsburg threaten to attack down the left but as the ball is switched, Vogt lets the ball slip under his foot and the chance is gone.
36'
Baier is fouled by a combination of Ribery and Alaba down the right to give the visitors a free kick in an advanced position. The delivery is poor once more from Werner. His crossing has been disappointing for the visitors today.
34'
Andre Hahn is sent clear down the right by Kevin Vogt. He drives into the area from the edge of the box, but Mario Mandzukic, of all player in a red shirt, is back to dispossess the winger and concede a corner.
32'
Hahn is in the thick of it again, this time down the right as he tries to take on Dante. There's only one winner in this bout, as Dante shepherds the winger into the corner and cleverly nicks the ball off of Hahn to win a throw in.
30'
Augsburg win their second corner of the game but a poor delivery from Werner sails over everyone and gifts FCB the chance to counter. Ribery breaks away from the attentions of the visitor's midfield with a neat turn, but Moravek tracks back and executes a perfect sliding tackle to stop the attack.
28'
Toni Kroos gets a brief sight of goal and decides to try his luck from outside the area, but his effort curls wide of Marwen Hitz's right-hand post.
26'
There has been a lot of possession for the hosts at the moment, but they've struggled to create many clear-cut chances since they opened the scoring.
24'
David Alaba has threatened to get beyond Ribery and probe the Augsburg back-line, but Andre Hahn has been everywhere for the visitors and is back to help his defence once more with another well-timed tackle.
22'
It's began to hail in Bavaria! The conditions are close to freezing but that isn't stopping either set of fans, both have been in good voice throughout this half.
20'
Bayern force another corner down the left but Dante's header from Alaba's cross is too tame to trouble Hitz. The hosts remain a threat from set-pieces though.
18'
That early goal has certainly settled the hosts, who are stroking the ball around confidently. If there were any nerves about securing that Bundesliga record, they've gone now.
16'
CLOSE!!! Ribery sends a fizzing cross along the face of goal. It looks destined to find Mario Gotze at the back post but the ball just evades the outstretched foot of the former Borussia Dortmund star.
14'
Talk about stating the obvious, but Bayern are just lethal from every area of the pitch, even their own box. That Augsburg corner quickly turns into an FCB counterattack as Ribery bursts downfield. He is upended by Klavan to provide the home side with another shooting opportunity from a free kick, but Alaba sends his effort over the bar.
12'
Augsburg have their first corner of the game as Alaba is forced to knock the ball behind as Andre Hahn guns for the corner flag.
10'
Interesting. Replays suggest that Mario Mandzukic was in an offside position for the move that led to the corner, that subsequently led to Bayern's opener. He was definitely interfering with play, there is no doubt about that as he challenged Hitz for the loose ball.
8'
Augsburg enjoy their first little spate of possession but the ball is lost as soon as there is an attempt to get it up-field to Alintop. He's looking very isolated at the moment.
6'
Bayern are straight back on the attack after the early goal and Ribery goes down in the area under a clumsy looking challenge. Gagelmann isn't moved though and motions for the Frenchman to get to his feet.
4'
J. Boateng has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by Dante.
GOOAAAALLL!!! BOATENG FIRES FCB IN FRONT!!! That's not the type of finish you expect of a central defender! The free kick comes to nothing as Ribery slams it into the wall, but moments later the hosts have their first corner of the game and when Dante knocks the ball down, Boateng turns on a sixpence to rifle the ball into the roof of the net from an acute angle. A really tidy finish.
3'
Early free kick in a very promising position from FCB as Ribery is hauled down by Vogt. The usual suspects hover around the ball, and there are plenty of them.
1'
Referee Peter Gagelmann give a short blast on his whistle and we are up and running! Bayern are all in red, while Augsburg are in their all white change kit.
Bayern Munich hold the lion's share of records in the Bundesliga and they are on the cusp of yet another this afternoon. Last weekend they drew level with Hamburg for the most games unbeaten when they beat Hoffenheim and today they look to surpass that record when they play Augsburg.
Bayern have now gone over a year since they last tasted defeat in the Bundesliga. That came on October 28, 2012, against Bayer Levrkusen. SInce then They've defeated all-comers in the league and a draw today would be enough to see them enter the history books, although the home fans will be expecting a lot more than a point.
I'm Harry Slavin and I'll be here to take you through the action as Die Roten look to add another feather to their cap of Bundesliga records. In their way stand fellow Bavarians Augsburg, who have yet to even earn a point off FCB since their promotion to the top flight in 2011.
It hans't been an easy week in the lead up to this afternoon's monumental fixture though for the Bundesliga leaders. A dsjointed display against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League was coupled with the news that vice-captain Bastian Schweinsteiger will have to undergo ankle surgery for a second time, ruling him out ofr the forseeable future.
We're only 10 minutes away from kick off, so let's get some team news ahead of the ref's whistle in Munich. We'll start with the hosts.
It's a big occasion as the Allianz Arena prepares to witness history once more, but Pep Guardiola is only too aware of the difficulties that his side might face this afternoon. "[Crashing the party] is a great motivation for our opponent," he told reporters in his pre-match confrence. "Augsburg have a great engine, they use the flanks well and are aggressive." Perhaps this won't be as straightforward as everyone thinks?
The teams are in the tunnel in Bavaria. The stadium is awash with red, and we are moments away from kick off.
HALF-TIME: BAYERN 2-0 AUGSBURG. Two goals, and really, too easy for the Bundesliga champions. They are bang on course to set the record for most games gone without defeat in the league's history thanks to strikes from Boateng and Ribery. If they carry on like this is in the second period, they could be grabbing the record in some style.
The two goals Pep Guardiola's side have produced in that opening period have been top quality. Most people in the ground had to double-check that it was actually Jerome Boateng who had swiveled and shot like a young Gerd Muller in the box for the opener. Ribery's free kick was ferocious and well worth catching on the highlights reel.
FOOTBALL FACT-ORY: Augsburg coach, 38-year-old Markus Weizierl, use to be on the books at Bayern Munich. He spent four seasons at the club between 1995 and 1999, but he never made an appearance for the first team, instead turning out on over 100 occasions for Bayern Munich II. Unfortunately for Weinzierl, his side haven't quite been up to scratch today either.
Both sides are back out for the second period. Bayern are just about ready to get us back underway.
FULL-TIME: BAYERN 3-0 AUGSBURG. So Bayern clinch that record for the longest unbeaten run in Bundesliga history thanks to first half strikes from Boateng and Ribery. Muller added the gloss in stoppage time as the Allianz Arena celebrate a very good day at the office indeed.
That's it from me, Harry Slavin. Thanks to all of you who joined me for this afternoon's actions. Until next time goodbye!
