THIAGO SILVA!! OFF THE CROSSBAR!! Oh my word. Words cannot describe the drama ensuing here at the Parc des Princes. Thiago Silva from distance has shuttled a wonderful strike off the bar.
90' +1
ALEX! Dear me, they're trying, they really are. Another fantastic ball towards Alex, who heads down towards Cavani, into Thiago Silva but Bonnart on hand to head over the bar!!
90'
E. Lavezzi gets yellow.
Into FOUR minutes of ADDED TIME HERE!
THIAGO SILVA! Leading by example, and it's just wide of the goal. That is a stunning curling effort. Brilliant strike.
89'
YELLOW CARD - Lavezzi. He thinks he's won a penalty under the challenge of Laurent Bonnart. So too do 40,000 Parisiens. He's been booked for diving. I don't think the referee has got the right call here.
87'
VERRATTI!! My word. Why didn't he shoot? Ajaccio on the verge of crumbling here. The Italian dribbles past a number of players in the box, then somehow sets up Ibrahimovic, despite the goal gaping. Ochoa recovers with a WONDERFUL SAVE.
86'
E. Cavani has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by H. Ongenda.
Guillermo Ochoa finally beaten, in what has been one of the great goalkeeping displays. But PSG have awoken, and have the fan's backing reverberating all around the stadium.
84'
GOAL! PSG FINALLY EQUALISE!! EDINSON CAVANI WITH THE EQUALISER! After 86 minutes of turgid profligate play, the Uruguayan does it with a sweet strike on the edge of the area. Ochoa beaten!
83'
Ajaccio with a rare foray into the opposition half, as Oliech races forward into the path of Thiago Silva, and the ball deflects off his arm. Free-kick, and a precious lull in tempo for the visitors.
Minute
Description
82'
Another clearance, another tackle, another corner. All eleven players of Ajaccio are in the box or thereabouts. Ibrahimovic with an offside call. We're EIGHT minutes away from the shock of the season so far.
81'
THIAGO MOTTA! Wow, what a shot, and it's blazed over the bar. That ball had a lot of power and pace on it, and it's just narrowly gone over.
80'
THIAGO SILVA!! IT'S OFF THE CROSSBAR! Dear me. Whatever they throw at the Ajaccio goal, it's just not going in for the champions. Lovely cross, powerfully headed by the captain, and rattles off the crossbar.
79'
And the PSG onslaught continues, as Ochoa punches away a corner, and the ball is cleared at every opportunity by any player wearing an Ajaccio shirt out there. It's gone way past a 'backs to the wall job'. Full on parking the bus!
78'
Ibrahimovic from the set-piece, clatters into the wall, but he gets another chance. Another ball into the box, headed away under pressure from Cavani by Zubar for a corner.
77'
H. Ongenda enters the game and replaces Lucas Moura.
SUBSTITUTION: When in doubt, put the kids on! Laurent Blanc has turned to teenager Hervin Ongenda who replaces Lucas Moura in these final stages.
76'
No-one is closing down Motta despite his influence in snuffing out a chance for the hosts at every turn. Another fantastic ball into the box, towards Ibrahimovic, and he's closed down pretty quickly.
74'
PSG should reconsider their long ball tactics in the final quarter of an hour here. There's about six Ajaccio players in the box at all times now! Oliech commits a foul on Alex.
73'
G. Ochoa gets yellow.
Lavezzi has contributed to the PSG attack well since replacing Pastore. Here, he cuts in on his weaker foot, and his shot is well saved by Ochoa, who is booked earlier for timewasting.
72'
JALLET!! Another one goes begging for the hosts. Lavezzi with a deft ball forward, finds the right-back on the far side, but scuffs his shot wide.
71'
OCHOA! Oh my word, what a game he's having. A low shot from outside the box is deflected into the path of Ibrahimovic, as Ochoa chases him down. Gets down well to block the shot, but Hengbart on hand to deflect the ball away.
70'
M. Verratti enters the game and replaces B. Matuidi.
C. Hengbart enters the game and replaces J. Nadeau.
69'
YELLOW CARDS: Both Alex and Ronald Zubar are booked for their outbursts at the referee during that stoppage in play. Meanwhile, we go on here.
68'
R. Zubar gets yellow.
Alex gets yellow.
SUBSTITUTION: Both players involved in that head collision are substituted. Cedric Hengbart is on for Nadeau, Marco Verratti for Blaise Matuidi.
67'
Blaise Matuidi involved in a nasty clash of heads involving Joshua Nadeau. There'll be a lengthy stoppage, with Matuidi losing blood at a fast pace here. He's being attended to. There's some concern here.
65'
Oh dear me. The game is stopped by the referee after Blaise Matuidi is involved in a rather sickening head collision.
64'
THIAGO SILVA! OFF THE LINE AGAIN! By Bonnart this time, as Thiago Motta sends in a beautiful ball into the box for the defender, who thinks he's equalised, but the ball is off the line!
63'
The last time Cavani played with Lavezzi was the Coppa Italia final of 2012, when the latter was fouled for a penalty, scored by the former, winning the Partenopei the cup!
62'
Cavani and Lavezzi play a fantastic one-two, but the referee signals for a free-kick after an offside call in the area. When are Ajaccio going to break here? Superb defending.
61'
And it's Ajaccio who race forward at the other end, helped on by Lasne on the right hand side. Oliech forward, but the cross is too close to the goalkeeper.
Lucas Moura gets the better of Dielna on the far side and it appears that he's won the corner. However, the referee signals for a free-kick, with the ball bouncing off Moura's hand. Cue an outburst.
59'
ALEX! OFF THE LINE! The Ajaccio goal is living a charmed life. Just how close can PSG get? Another stunning delivery into the box, headed goalwards by the Brazilian and cleared.
58'
E. Lavezzi enters the game and replaces J. Pastore.
CAVANI! What a strike, on the turn and it forces Ochoa into a fine save. That was heading into the top corner, but the Mexican with a fine tip over the bar. Corner.
57'
SUBSTITUTION: Ezequiel Lavezzi is on for Javier Pastore. Another poor game from the ex-Palermo man, who is replaced by his compatriot.
55'
Surely a change now from Blanc. PSG might be dominating, but they look so one-dimensional. Just can't break down, with the likes of Lasne, Pierazzi and Mostefa having a stormer in midfield.
54'
PASTORE! Over the bar from the Argentine. It's another fabulous ball from Motta, towards Ibrahimovic, headed down into the path of Pastore, but he fires over.
53'
D. Oliech enters the game and replaces A. Mutu.
Lucas with the piledrive from distance, blocked by Bonnart, as Dielna brings the ball away. It's towards Matuidi, then into Ibrahimovic but Dielna is on hand to see the ball back to Ochoa.
51'
SUBSTITUTION: Adrian Mutu comes off for Denis Oliech. The Romanian hasn't had many touches on the ball, and is replaced by the Kenyan.
50'
The rain is causing a bit of a problem in the Ajaccio defence, as Thiago Motta's free-kick forces Mostefa to clear hurriedly with the added bonus of a slippery ball and surface in this heavy rain.
48'
When it rains, it pours. Literally, that is the case at the Parc des Princes, as the heavens have opened here in the French capital. PSG still attempting to break the deadlock.
CAVANI! WIDE! The build-up is great once more, as the Uruguayan pings the ball behind to Lucas Moura, who returns the favour with a good cross, but the man they call El Matador heads wide.
47'
LUCAS MOURA!! Good shot, tame effort though. The ball falls to the Brazilian on the edge of the area, but it's flashed needlessly wide by the young winger.
46'
C. Dielna enters the game and replaces G. Perozo.
UNDERWAY AGAIN IN PARIS! Ajaccio have made a change in this second half. Perozo is off for Dielna.
IBRAHIMOVIC! He's not getting a penalty for that, no way. Long ball forward sees Ibrahimovic try to get a touch, but fails as Zubar challenges.
45'
HALF-TIME: Paris Saint-Germain 0-1 Ajaccio.
44'
Diarra wins a free-kick under the challenge of Pastore. Ajaccio are just wasting a bit of time to ensure they go into the break level, bringing boos from the hosts.
43'
Lucas with a series of brilliant dribbles to try and get past the challenge of Perozo, with Motta delivering the long ball towards Ibrahimovic who races forward a tad too early.
42'
IBRAHIMOVIC! Bonnart is having trouble with the Swede here. Motta first with the ball forward, Ibrahimovic heads towards Cavani, who lets it roll in turn to Maxwell. Cross comes in again, but the striker heads wide under pressure from Zubar.
40'
Pastore finds Matuidi, who despite losing his composure, finds his balance once more by sending a return ball towards the Argentine. Before controlling, it's nicked by Mostefa. Ajaccio are really holding on here.
39'
Really positive half from Ronald Zubar of the Ajaccio back four. The ex-Marseille defender is thwarting Ibrahimovic and Cavani as best he can with a series of well-timed tackles and blocks. Just over five minutes to go in this half.
37'
CAVANI! What a save from Ochoa, the Mexican is really playing his part here. Unorthodox, as it always is with the goalkeeper, Cavani's touch on from the corner forces Ochoa to punch away whilst diving on the line. Somewhat volleyball-esque one may say.
36'
Frustrating times for Blanc and co. Zubar is forced to head away uncertainly with Ibrahimovic lurking in the penalty box. Ajaccio just not dealing with these long balls into the box.
35'
OFFSIDE! PSG highlighting their creativity well, with a series of fine touches to fashion an opening here. Pastore finds Ibrahimovic with a brilliant through ball, but the Ajaccio line holds well to bring about the flag of the linesman.
33'
IBRAHIMOVIC! Just not going for him tonight. A dazzling shot from the big Swede. Holds off the challenge of Laurent Bonnart with a turn and shot which flashes wide of Ochoa's post. Tough task to strike from that position, but it was not far away.
32'
Conceivable that PSG are likely to score from a defensive slip-up from the Corsicans. Another superb lofted ball from midfield finds Cavani in acres of space forward, but it has a bit of pace on it which the Uruguayan can't handle.
31'
Motta has shown a few good touches on the ball so far, the former Barcelona and Inter midfielder is opening the visitors up with a number of astute passes to the forward men. 31 minutes in - it's PSG 0-1 Ajaccio.
29'
IBRAHIMOVIC! Exercising his aerial threat here. Has had a few chances this evening. Another delightful ball into the Swede sees him rise first to connect with the header. Comes off Nadeau, but Ochoa has that one covered.
28'
Jallet capitalises on a slip from Diarra, but Lasne on the ball cuts out the move and attempts a counter of his own. Neither side can keep possession at the moment.
27'
Truth be told, Ajaccio have nearly ever player behind the ball, bar Adrian Mutu - the Romanian striker has failed to make an impact despite his team leading 1-0.
26'
Perozo again fails to track the run of a player behind him,as Ibrahimovic latches onto a fine through ball played by Jallet. Cross doesn't have that pace, but Cavani gets a little touch but cleared by Zubar.
24'
PSG fans in uproar as Lucas Moura stumbles under the challenge of Zubar near the box, but the referee waves play on.
23'
MAXWELL! Good save by Ochoa. Matuidi, the powerhouse that he is, races through into the box but slips as he pulls the trigger. The ball falls to Maxwell on the overlap, but his angled effort is blocked away by Ochoa.
22'
Tempers flaring a little bit as Pedretti is felled by Pastore, but PSG refuse to put the ball out of play. Seconds later, Zubar concedes a foul in the middle, with the centre-bock voicing his innocence.
21'
Fans voice their appreciation as Ibrahimovic and Cavani highlight their partnership for the first time. Lovely bit of one-two play as the latter feeds the former with a deft cross, but Ibra's header is saved by Ochoa.
20'
Bit of a poor start from Jallet in truth, with Gregory van der Wiel, himself below par for les Parisiens likely to move away on loan. Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic drops deep to try and stimulate the hosts' attack.
18'
PSG predictably leading on possession, with 64% of the ball inside these opening 18 minutes. Christophe Jallet sends in a crunching tackle on Sigamary Diarra, who is in a bit of pain.
17'
Ajaccio defender Perozo fails to track the run of Cavani behind him, who attempts to control a sumptuous ball over the top from Pastore, but one poor touch makes it a goal-kick.
16'
Pastore picks up the loose ball and tries to dribble his way past Pierazzi, who holds his ground superbly well to ensure the move fails to materialise. Lasne brings the ball away.
15'
Ibrahimovic gets on the ball, picking up a lofted pass, and attempting to turn and shoot. Ajaccio defend in numbers, and quickly get the ball away in time.
14'
Ajaccio showing what they can do on the counter, and are utilising the left flank superbly. Diarra leaves Jallet for dead on the turn, and bursts forward. Unable to get a shot on goal, Mostefa attempts to find Pierazzi on the far side, but it goes out for a corner.
12'
Pastore playing a little bit narrow, as he attempts to connect Lucas Moura on the far side. Instead, seeing as his options have become limited, he opts for a tame shot which is simple for Ochoa.
11'
PSG attempt to assert their authority once more on possession, as Motta enables a long ball forward into the box, searching for Cavani but Zubar is at the ready with a fantastic diving header away.
10'
That is a stunning goal from Benoit Pedretti, and Ravanelli allows himself a wry smile on the touchline. Paris is stunned. Paris is silenced. The champions are hoping for an immediate answer.
9'
B. Pedretti has scored a goal for Ajaccio! Assist by M. Mostefa.
GOAL! PSG 0-1 AJACCIO! Oh my word. What a goal. What a superb goal. Paris is silenced. The cross from Diarra is left alone by Jallet, as Mostefa tees up Benoit PEDRETTI! And the former Lille midfielder curls it into the top corner. FANTASTIC.
8'
Corner poses a few problems for Ajaccio to contend with. Whipped into the danger area, Ronald Zubar is forced to head away right in front of his own goalkeeper. PSG deploy the ball back into the area, but it's finally out of play when Christophe Jallet sends a wayward header wide.
7'
IBRAHIMOVIC! What a save by Ochoa, who twice denies PSG here. Low powerful free-kick which pierces the wall, and forces the Mexican to spill, before Pastore on the rebound attempts to slot it away, but Ochoa is on hand to deflect it away for a corner!
6'
Ibrahimovic's free-kick clatters into Paul Lasne, and PSG have another set-piece, about 10 metres closer now on the edge of the area. Ochoa will be a bit wary about this.
5'
Ajaccio failing to show a little composure in defence, as Pedretti needlessly gives away another free-kick for a foul on Lucas. Ibrahimovic over this, 30 metres out.
4'
OFFSIDE! Fantastic delivery from Thiago Motta who whips in a curling effort at the far post which Ibrahimovic fails to connect with. Cavani attempts a touch, but Ochoa hurriedly retrieves. All for nothing as it's offside anyway.
3'
Cavani showing some good early touches as he bursts forward down the middle. Into Jallet, and subsequently Lucas Moura, the Brazilian's quick feet are perhaps a little too quick for Mehdi Mostefa who trips him. Free-kick.
2'
Good early movement from PSG as Motta's through ball fails to find Jallet, and as Ajaccio bring the ball away, Ibrahimovic clatters into Diarra. Free-kick to the visitors.
1'
UNDERWAY IN PARIS! Ajaccio get us started attacking from right to left under a barrage of boos. They kick off in their change strip of all white.
Good evening and welcome to Goal's live text commentary from the 2013-14 Ligue 1 season! Tonight sees champions Paris Saint-Germain take on AC Ajaccio in their first home clash of the season at the Parc des Princes.
PSG commenced their Ligue 1 campaign under Laurent Blanc last weekend with a frustrating 1-1 draw with Montpellier. Despite the hosts down to ten men, and the introduction of Edinson Cavani, the champions failed to get their season started on the right track.
Meanwhile, Ajaccio, under the tutelage of Fabrizio Ravanelli, the much-loved and hated in equal measure striker who starred for PSG's fierce rivals Olympique de Marseille. He'll surely get a red--hot welcome, but remember, Ajaccio - who stuttered in their league opener against Saint-Etienne last week, were the only side to not have conceded a goal in 2012-13 to the eventual champions.
This time last year, in the second matchday of the season - PSG travelled to Ajaccio, but suffered extremely in the evening heat at Stade Francois Coty - and it all went pear shaped as Carlo Ancelotti and Ezequiel Lavezzi were given their marching orders as the game ended in a draw. The return also finished goalless.
Elsewhere in Ligue 1 - nouveau riche AS Monaco thrashed Montpellier 4-1 at Stade Louis II earlier, with Emmanuel Riviere scoring a hat-trick. They join Marseille, Lyon and Saint-Etienne on six points from six.
BREAKING TEAM NEWS: Edinson Cavani starts for Paris Saint-Germain tonight.
Good atmosphere building at the Parc des Princes, with PSG fans expectedly chanting anti-Ravanelli songs in the stands, with the current Ajaccio boss not the most loved person in the capital. Tonight's referee is Nicolas Rainville.
The teams are out, after Ajaccio keep PSG waiting in the tunnel for three minutes! Cunning tactic from the Corsican's wily coach? We soon shall see.
Benjamin Andre's suspension following a red card in last week's defeat to Saint-Etienne sees 18 year old Joshua Nadeau thrown in at the deep end with a first professional game away at the Parc des Princes. Bon chance!
HALF-TIME: A superb half for Ajaccio, not so for PSG who are booed off at the break. They race towards the ref once more, with Thiago Silva protesting against time-wasting. But it's Pedretti's stunning goal which separates the sides.
One way traffic is a bit of an understatement. Ajaccio have had just one shot, from one serious attacking move. They lead 1-0, but can they keep up with the onslaught? Join me in 15 for the second half.
The teams are out in the second half, can PSG get back on track?
FULL-TIME: One of the best games this season. A truly stunning encounter. PSG had 34 shots, but Ajaccio's one shot sees them take one point. A great game for all concerned. But the pressure is already on Blanc with two points out of six. Join me again next week. Good night!
