Very odd atmosphere when the whole of the ground sing that famous song whilst a game of football is still happening, surreal.
90'
Three added minutes at Anfield, played out to 'You'll Never Walk Alone' it seems.

Not as much urgency from the home side as they seem content to keep the ball and are satisfied with a 1-0 win. Struggling to recall a single QPR shot in the second half.

Downing should score for Liverpool as Suso does excellently to jinx back-and-fourth to get past Harriman, his cross reaches Downing who hits his shot straight into Traore.

Description
70'
Strong claims for a penalty for Liverpool as Downing does well to wriggle free from a couple of challenges and unleash a shot on goal, everyone at Anfield is desperate for a Jamie Carragher goal.
67'
S. Derry gets yellow.
Shaun Derry does his best efforts to take off a leg of Fabio Borini and is rightly booked for his foul.
64'
F. Borini enters the game and replaces J. Ibe.
63'
That was followed up with a couple of crosses from Downing and Sturridge that were lashed across the six yard box, any touch would have seen either end up in the back of the net.
62'
Wow! Don't believe what I've just witnessed! Jamie Carragher unleashes a shot from 30 yards out which rebounds off the post! Extremely close to a remarkable goal.
60'
The Spaniard then fires a dangerously looking ball over Liverpool's defence for Remy to latch on to, but Reina is away and comes flying out of his goal to stop the danger. Liverpool then break which results in a Downing shot into the side-netting.
58'
The introduction of Granero has improved QPR's ball retention, seems a lot more assured in possession than M'Bia.
56'
The visitors are currently enjoying a rare spell with the ball at their feet, passing the ball nicely in the middle of the park.
53'
The hosts are playing some lovely football, provided by their attacking quartet of Coutinho, Ibe, Downing and Sturridge. Apart from the number of goals, Brendan Rodgers will be delighted with his team's attacking threat.
51'
QPR manage to counter from the Liverpool corner but great work by Jordon Ibe tracking back thwarts the attack. Tremendous work by the youngster and the Liverpool faithful appreciate it.
50'
Another chance for the home side and it's Glen Johnson who forces a save from Green with a deflected shot. Corner.
49'
Ibe causing problems again, he seems to be cutting inside a lot of the time but why not when it's working time after time. He fires a fierce right foot shot just over the bar.

45'
Coutinho again causing problems for QPR, he disposseses Zamora in a dangerous position, dribbles past an opponent before slipping whilst shooting and the ball falls kindly for Green.

Nearly a wonder goal from Jose Enrique of all culprits! The defender makes a run reminiscent of Giggs in '99, dribbles past a couple of opponents on the left, cuts in on to his right foot but gets the shot all wrong, great run though!
40'
The visitors have an opportunity to deliver a dangerous free kick into the penalty box but Reina is able to punch clear and Liverpool counter with purpose as Coutinho seeks Sturridge out but his pass is slightly overhit, unlucky for Liverpool.
37'
Good chance for QPR! Traore advances down the left and fires a great cross low and hard into the Liverpool penalty area but Zamora can't make good contact with the ball. Should have done better.
35'
A crazy minute sees a shot from both sides as firstly Remy does well to test Reina, then Johnson fires just over for Liverpool after cutting in on to his left foot.
34'
Good play by Johnson as he wins another free kick on the edge of the box, this time Downing plays it relatively short onto the run of Jamie Carragher who's shot is blocked and echoes of 'handball' ring out from the home fans, Martin Atkinson not interested though.
32'
C. Hill gets yellow.
Jordan Henderson seeks responsibility for the free kick but blasts it straight into the wall, the ball comes to Carragher 40 yards out and the Liverpool fans jokingly scream 'shoot!' at the defender.
31'
Good play by Sturridge as a lovely piece of skills sees him clear of a QPR defender, only for Clint Hill to block him off unfairly, free kick to Liverpool in a dangerous looking position.
28'
Worries for QPR momentarily as Remy is down and looks to be injured, however the Frenchman gets up to his feet and looks set to continue.
27'
The hosts are well on top and it's extremely evident why QPR have suffered relegation this season, struggling to retain possession, never mind creating chances. A big rebuilding process in store.
24'
Nothing less than what Liverpool deserve after their early dominance, they're carving QPR open at will and it was a matter of time before the deadlock would be broke.
23'
Philippe Coutinho has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by J. Ibe.
GOAL! LIVERPOOL! COUTINHO! The Brazilian scores from 25 yards out after good play by Ibe cutting in from the left to feed the ball to Coutinho to lash home. Great finish.
20'
The home side are itching closer and closer towards their first goal, good play again by Johnson on the right as he nutmegs Traore to advance into the penalty area before whipping a dangerous goal across the six-yard box. Unfortunately for the Reds their is no-one their for a simple tap in.

4'
Penalty claims for QPR as Loic Remy goes down in the penalty box under the challenge of Lucas, referee isn't interested though.
2'
Off the line by Coutinho!! The corner illudes everyone in the centre of the penalty area and the Brazilian has a free header at the back post but Robert Green pulls off a great save to keep the scores level.
1'
QPR get us underway!
Liverpool start the game very well and Coutinho has a the first chance of the game latching on to a pass inside the area and forcing a block from Clint Hill and Liverpool win the corner.
Without further or do, let's get to today's team news. Liverpool line-up as: Reina; Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique; Lucas, Henderson; Downing, Ibe, Coutinho; Sturridge. Subs: Jones, Wisdom, Coady, Coates, Suso, Assaidi, Borini
Both teams provide a guard of honour for the retiring Jamie Carragher, much deserved for the Reds defender. A great servant to the club.
QPR captain Clint Hill presents Carragher with QPR's contribution to the Liverpool defender. All ceremonies are near complete and kick-off is moments away.
Just the one goal for Liverpool at Anfield in the first half but they should have had a lot more. This game could be labelled the 'Coutinho Show' after the Brazilian's mesmerising display and the home side have his goal to show for their first half dominance. QPR have had moments but in truth they will be waiting for this game to finish to end their dreadful season.
A half-time update from Sam Bisby: "An easy half for Liverpool who have bossed this game and could very well be two or three goals to the good if they had been a bit more decisive on the attack. As previously mentioned, Jordon Ibe and Philipe Coutinho have been the ones to watch in this initial 45 minutes, with the two youngsters orchestrating many of the host's offensive plays. QPR have been restricted to pop-shots from distance, but there have been a couple of clumsy defensive moments from the Reds that the visitors might have taken more advantage of with a little more awareness."
So Jamie Carragher's career comes to a fitting end as Liverpool secure a 1-0 victory over already relegated QPR. The home side were dominant throughout and will be a little be-wildered to why they only managed to score one, but they did and that came through the brilliant Coutinho. The Brazilian unleashed a 30 yard shot midway through the first half to break the deadlock after a lay-off by the also brilliant Ibe.
There's reason to be optimistic for Liverpool fans next season, which carries on a trend for recent seasons but their end of season form has been magnificent to watch, only time will tell if the Brendan Rodgers regime will work. As for QPR, it's back to the Championship after a two-year stay in the Premier League and a lot of rebuilding work for Redknapp and co.
