And that's probably that for QPR. This is going to be a massive result for Paul Lambert and Aston Villa.
Well there was time for one last chance for Rangers but it flies wide.
90' +4
Vlaar wins the header against Samba as QPR keep launching the ball into the area with little success. Every outfield player for Rangers is in the Villa box.

Two of the five minutes gone. QPR struggling to create any meaningful chances even with the predatory instincts of Chris Samba up top.
90' +1
Neutrals will be sad to see this game end. Paul Lambert will be over the moon. Tense times for Villa.
90'
Five minutes added on here at Villa Park. Plenty of time for an equaliser from Rangers.
89'
Samba now basically up front for QPR. Leaves Clint Hill and Jose Bosingwa as the only defenders for the visitors. Surely someone has to get another goal here?

J. Hoilett gets yellow.
Junior Hoilett goes into the book for a typical forward's challenge. Two minutes of normal time remaining.
87'
J. Mackie enters the game and replaces Park Ji-sung.
Desperate times for QPR. Jamie Mackie is finally on for Park Ji-Sung and the visitors have a free kick on the halfway line.
86'
Whatever happens to Rangers hopefully the return to the Premier League of Chris Samba will remind a few better teams just how good he is. Could do excellently at a side nearer the top of the table.
84'
J. Bowery enters the game and replaces A. Weimann.
That goal leaves QPR on the brink. A defeat will keep them rooted to the foot of the table, seven points behind Villa and almost Championship bound.

82'
Weimann made it to the byline, beat the on-rushing Cesar and cut it back to Benteke who was on hand to steer the ball into an empty net.
81'

80'
Jamie Mackie is being prepared by QPR. Redknapp knows he needs all three points here.
79'
Taarabt so far winning the battle of the two 'mercurial' subs with Charles N'Zogbia struggling to make an impact. QPR's Moroccan star looks incredibly dangerous here. Villa need to keep a closer eye on him.
76'
Taarabt has really added something to QPR. He has changed the game here in a clash which could still go either way. Redknapp has reshuffled his defence following that goal but can Rangers avoid conceding again?
74'

73'

71'
Now Taarabt releases Remy with a lovely pass. The Frenchman's cross is headed clear though.
70'
Taarabt already making a nuisance of himself. Breaks into the Villa box but can't force the ball into a dangerous area. Goal kick Villa.
69'
It's another corner for Villa. QPR currently playing with three at the back, Clint Hill on the left, Samba in the middle and Bosingwa on the right. Can Villa expose Hill's lack of pace down the left?
66'
A. Taarabt enters the game and replaces Fábio.
Fabio is the man sacrificed for Taarabt. Attacking change from Redknapp who knows that his side need goals here. Now or never for Rangers.
65'
Adel Taarabt is ready to come on for Rangers who really need a little inspiration to get back into this one. No intensity from QPR this half.
62'
Cesar should really have done much better with the goal. Weimann's low shot crept past the Brazilian who has been slightly culpable for both goals.
60'
C. N'Zogbia enters the game and replaces Y. Sylla.
So for the second week in succession Villa have turned a 1-0 deficit into a a 2-1 advantage. Can they hold on for the win and give Paul Lambert his first back-to-back league wins as Villa boss?

56'
Benteke volleys over the QPR crossbar after a spot of head tennis in the box. Villa looking bright.

Julio Cesar comes to claim a Villa corner. Demonstrating perhaps what he should have done with Lowton's ball for Agbonlahor's equaliser.
53'
Something of a lull here at Villa Park following the restart. Neither side managing to stamp their authority on the second-half so far. A lot of nerves on show from two teams who know defeat today will be disastrous for their survival hopes.
48'
Poor defending from Fabio allows Andreas Weimann to sneak in down the right-hand-side. His cut back in eventually cleared by Rangers.
46'

37'

35'
Yacouba Sylla was yellow carded for pulling back Townsend in the build up to that QPR chance. The Villa man will have to be careful from now on.
33'
But Bobby Zamora can't find the target with the resulting set piece. Wasted opportunity there.
32'
Another good chance for QPR. Andros Townsend dashes through the Villa defence but is caught on the edge of the area. Kevin Friend plays advantage but, when the resulting chance comes to nothing, pulls it back for a QPR free kick just outside the box.
31'

The goal for Jenas was his second in two games for QPR. Another inspired piece of wheeling and dealing from Harry Redknapp?

20'
J. Bennett enters the game and replaces N. Baker.
19'
But the Villa defender still looks in some discomfort and Baker is about to be substituted by Paul Lambert. QPR have the extra man on the field for now though as they press for the opener.
18'
Nathan Baker returns to the field after a clash with Samba leaves him slightly dazed.
15'
Benteke wins the corner for Villa down the left-hand-side and Barry Bannan's set piece is headed away by QPR.

11'
And another great stop from the Villa keeper. The resulting corner falls to Samba but Guzan is equal to his goal-bound effort.
10'
Stunning stop from Brad Guzan. Chris Samba gets up well and the American has to be on top of his game to tip it wide.

And with that we're underway at Villa Park.
I'm Jack Johnson (@jack_johnson__) and I'll be taking you through the action from Villa Park where both sides are desperate for another three points towards their respective survival bids.
Team news is here and this is how they'll be lining up, starting with Villa.
Julio Cesar is back in goal for Rangers after recovering from a hip injury while Robert Green drops to the bench. Loic Remy and Bobby Zamora continue up front together for Harry Redknapp's side.
Afternoon and welcome to live commentary of Aston Villa's clash with QPR for Goal.com
QPR earned back to back wins against Southampton and Sunderland in their last two Premier League games. Can they continue their run against this young Villa side?
A Villa win meanwhile would send Paul Lambert's side seven points ahead of their rivals.
Villa, meanwhile, are still missing Darren Bent (ankle) but will be buoyed by last week's win against fellow relegation candidates Reading.
Well where did that come from? Agbonlahor has scored Villa a precious equaliser to take them into the break on terms with QPR. Just seconds before Bosingwa had struck the Villa post with a free kick as QPR really applied the pressure. Redknapp will be furious to not be ahead at half-time.
Ashley Westwood completed every one of his 56 passes in that first half. Impressive stuff from the youngster, but Villa will still need to show a little more endeavor if they are to really trouble Rangers in the second-half .
Full time and Villa take all three points with a 3-2 win. QPR look pretty doomed, rooted to the foot of the table and surely favorites for relegation. Harry Redknapp will be sorely disappointed to take nothing away from a game in which his side had plenty of chances. Rangers could have been two or three up at half-time but instead conceded an equaliser before letting Villa assert themselves in the second period.
