Almost the winner!!! Ivory Coast attack with pace and Drogba pokes in a shot clean through, but the keeper is equal to it and saves well.
90' +4
Razak is the latest man in orange to go down, and he looks in pain as he's stretchered off. Zokora comes in late on.
90' +3
D. Zokora enters the game and replaces A. Razak.
90' +2
Bony!!! The striker takes the shot on himself from wide, and with team-mates unmarked he smashes past the post.
90' +1
A full five minutes will be added on for injury time.
90'
Emmanuel Eboue has only just entered the game, but he is down in a heap after clashing with Soudani. The game waits for the full-back to come off for treatment.
89'
Bony is again in a dangerous position and he takes the ball down on his chest, but he had strayed offside and M'Bolhi restarts with a free kick.
87'
S. Tedjar enters the game and replaces K. Lemmouchia.
86'
Slimani had a wonderful chance to make it 3-2 after more poor marking from the Elephants, but he completely fluffs a first-time effort.
85'
E. Eboué enters the game and replaces I. Lolo.
In all that excitement I nearly forgot about the incredible scenes in the other game. Tunisia had the chance to go ahead from the penalty spot, the fourth in today's two games, but Mouelhi hit the post. Still 1-1.
Minute
Description
83'
Algeria looked home and dry, but it's all square once again after an impressive comeback from their opponents. Spirit of champions, could one say rather mischeviously?
82'
F. Kadir enters the game and replaces H. Soudani.
81'
W. Bony has scored a goal for Côte d'Ivoire! Assist by S. Kalou.
GOAL!!!!! Bony releases a stinger from distance that takes a wicked deflection off Mesbah, and we're all level. How thins have changed.
80'
Ya Konan puts in a corner, but M'Bolhi is as safe as ever and claims easily.
77'
D. Drogba has scored a goal for Côte d'Ivoire! Assist by K. Touré.
GOAL!!! Drogba suddenly appears on the end of a cross, and powers his header down in classic centre-forward style to bring his side back into the game.
76'
Mesbah tries his luck for a third, but it's high and wide from the full-back.
74'
Bony is almost through from Kalou's pass, but he is brusquely taken down just outside the box. The striker wants a free kick, but the ref is having none of it.
73'
Valencia's Feghouli has been an absolute revelation since coming into the action, netting from the spot before setting up that all-important second goal.
70'
H. Soudani has scored a goal for Algeria! Assist by S. Féghouli.
It's into the danger zone, but headed well over and Algeria once more take their time in restarting.
GOAL!!! 2-0 ALGERIA!!! Feghouli puts in a pinpoint cross, and in the absence of any marking Soudani is there to nod in. Massive upset here.
69'
Corner now for Ivory Coast, can the likes of Kolo Toure make a difference from the set-piece?
68'
Algeria look very happy with their lead, M'Bolhi takes his time to clear from his own goal as another Elephant attack breaks down.
66'
This result won't affect Ivory Coast's position at the top of Group D,but it is a kick in the teeth so close to that vital match against Nigeria. Still, plenty of time to get back into the game.
64'
Penalty goal scored by S. Féghouli for Algeria!
Another penalty for Algeria, unbelievable!!! Boka is pulled up for a needless handball in the area.
GOAL!!!!!! Feghouli's only been on the pitch a matter of seconds, but he nets Algeria's first of the competition with a perfect kick. 1-0 Algeria.
63'
it's been a little more scrappy in this half, the referee has been quick with his whistle as the tackles fly in across the pitch, affecting the rhythm.
62'
S. Féghouli enters the game and replaces R. Boudebouz.
A change coming now for Algeria, No. 10 Feghouli to be thrown into the action.
59'
Still 1-1 over in Togo-Tunisia, time is running out for the North Africans with roughly 30 minutes to play.
57'
The game's high tempo has continued, but neither team has managed to break the deadlock despite coming close. For those of us expecting a stinker though, we've been pleasantly surprised.
55'
A key interception from Halliche, who steps in to cut out a pass destined for the unmarked Bony at the far post. Drogba's pass just lacked enough to get past.
53'
Boudebouz is again the chosen man, but his shot is deflected by the wall and cleared away. Reprieve for the goalkeeper.
52'
Yeboah pulled up this time for handling outside the area, an incredible moment of inattention. Chance now for Algeria.
51'
Again, just, just wide by Drogba who fires low past the right-hand post.
50'
A free kick this time for Ivory Coast, Drogba winning the foul off Belkalem. It'll be the captain to take once again.
49'
Belkalem!! Boudabouz whips in a free kick that escapes over the top, and the defender has a free header that he sends straight at Yeboah.
48'
I. Lolo gets yellow.
All eyes will be on Drogba in this half, he needs a big game to put himself in contention against Nigeria but apart from that free kick, it's been a quiet one so far.
46'
D. Ya Konan enters the game and replaces C. Romaric.
And it is the Elephants who get us started for this second half.
45' +1
That stop won't affect injury time too much, just the one minute added on.
45'
Well Didier's getting a long dose of the magic spray on what appears to be his ankle, although he went down holding the shin. The veteran's making the most of this one.
44'
Lovely searching ball from Razak to find Drogba, and the striker falls theatrically from what looked an innocuous tackle. For me he's hurt himself more from the dive, landing heavily on the right knee.
42'
We're coming to the end of what has been an entertaining half, and though Ivory Coast have probably just shaded it Algeria enjoyed the best chance with that early penalty.
40'
Ooooh Drogba! The former Chelsea man has space in the area, but balloons his shot well over the bar.
39'
Soudani tries his luck now from outside the area. It's straight at Yeboah, and even though the keeper doesn't exactly exude confidence he manages to hold on.
37'
Ivory Coast break quickly and it's four on four at the back, but Algeria do well to recover and Bony eventually stabs a shot straight at M'Bolhi.
36'
Another fumbled take from Yeboah! But he gets away with it, as Slimani is somewhat harshly adjudged to have fouled the man between the posts.
34'
That's better in the air from Yeboah, he looked a bit hesitant as Mesbah's cross flew high in the air towards him, but took it cleanly.
32'
Kolo Toure hit a fairly ambitious ball up field looking for the head of Drogba, but he cannot make contact and it runs harmlessly to the keeper.
30'
Soudani breaks on the left and he has Slimani in the area waiting. The forward fires in a wicked low cross, but it flies past everyone for a goal kick.
29'
Still goalless here, but it's been fairly entertaining all the same. Great to see two teams play without pressure.
27'
Just wide!!! It is indeed Didier who takes it, but after clearing the wall his strike misses the left post by inches.
26'
M. Lacen gets yellow.
Here's some danger. Lacen steps on Drogba just outside the box and earns the yellow card. The new Galatasaray man will fancy his chances straight in front of the net.
25'
Ivory Coast are probing, going from one side of the pitch to another in search of space. So far though Algeria have been resolute, they're giving up nothing.
23'
Fright for the Elephants!! Yeboah looked certain to pick up Boudabouz's cross but fumbles. The keeper has to react quickly to recover and drop on it before Slimani arrives on the scene.
21'
One thing I can say is that the passing football which has been at such a premium so far in the AFCON is present in both of today's teams. Maybe because both are playing for pride, but still.
19'
The Ivory Coast are ever so slowly asserting their dominance on this game, shutting down their rivals in the middle and looking to use the likes of Drogba and Kalou to punch holes in the defence.
17'
Kalou breaks on the left but his shot is blocked, another corner. Mbolhi claims well.
14'
That kick comes to nothing, but we're hearing that Togo have taken the lead against Tunisia. One foot in the quarters now for the Togolese.
12'
The first glimpse of Drogba today, who holds up on the edge of the box and swings a cross in. It's headed behind for a corner.
11'
Missed penalty notwithstanding, it's been a decent start from Algeria who are going forward well. Their opponents look a bit lackadaisical so far, maybe with one eye on the next round.
10'
Mesbah swings in a deep cross after some fluid passing, but it's too close to Yeboah who claims unchallenged.
9'
In Group D's more important fixture, Tunisia and Togo battle for second place and the last-eight. A win for either side would be enough, while a draw puts Togo through.
7'
Nothing can go right for the North Africans!! Boudebouz steps up without fear, but his strike flashes past Yeboah and onto the post. A let-off for the Elephants.
6'
Penalty to Algeria!! Traore manhandles Soudani on the edge of the box, and the referee points to the spot.
4'
Boudebouz then tries to get Algeria going with some decent running in the Elephant box, but his cross is easily headed away.
3'
Fluid move from Ivory Coast in their first attack of the match, but Saloman Kalou just fails to retrieve a ball threaded nicely down the left. Goal kick.
2'
It's been a dreadful campaign so far for Algeria, who bow out having lost both their matches without finding the net. Can they go home with a flourish this afternoon?
1'
And we're off!! Algeria kick us off in white, as Group D begins its final matches.
Hello and welcome to the final round of fixtures in Group D of the Africa Cup of Nations. My name is Daniel Edwards and I'll be taking you through Algeria vs. Cote D'Ivoire.
This is the dead rubber clash of the group, with Cote D'Ivoire already through to the quarter-finals and Algeria on their way home. With a clash against Nigeria looming, however, this will be Didier Drogba and Co's last opportunity to fine-tune before that blockbuster.
Why don't we have a look at the teams? Algeria's XI... Mbolhi, Mostefa, Belkalem, Halliche, Mesbah, Lacen, Guedioura, Soudani, Boudebouz, Lemmouchia, Slimani.
And now for Ivory Coast... Yeboah, Boka, K Toure, I Traore, Lolo, Romaric, Razak, Kalou, Drogba, A Kone, Bony.
And that's the half time whistle, Drogba's back on his feet to walk off and we're tied at 0-0 after the first 45.
Elsewhere, Tunisia have pulled level via the penalty spot against Togo. A 1-1 draw, however, would still see Togo into the next round.
There will be one change for Ivory Coast, Ya Konan is one for Romaric.
That will be the last action. The final whistle blows, Ivory Coast get themselves out of jail after fighting back for a 2-2 draw against Algeria.
Togo also held on for a 1-1 draw that sends them through alongside the Elephants in Group D. They will meet Burkina Faso, while as we said Ivory Coast take on Nigeria on Sunday.
And that's all we have time for today, entertaining stuff in the African Cup of Nations to finish the group stage. I'm been Daniel Edwards, and you've all been great. Until the next one football fans.
