And that's your lot. Phil Dowd has blown for full time.
90' +2
But Esteban Granero's ball into the box is poor and Wigan can clear easily.
90' +1
Perhaps the last chance for QPR as Jamie Mackie wins a corner off Jean Beausejour.
89'
And now Djibril Cisse has thrown away a chance to bag three points. Esteban Granero dispossess Shaun Maloney and offloads a raking 50-yard pass to Cisse who spins Emmerson Boyce but the Frenchman's touch is heavy and Boyce clears for a corner.
86'
That could have been the chance to win it for Wigan. Arouna Kone picks the ball up on his side's left flank, cuts inside, but again, takes too long to get his shot off and in the end he's forced to pass square.
85'
Fábio enters the game and replaces José Bosingwa.
M. Boselli enters the game and replaces F. Di Santo.
84'
If Wigan are going to get the three points here, it'll be from a counter-attacking move. Arouna Kone had a chance to feed Jean Beausejour but the striker opts to cut inside to a wall of QPR players. The chance is lost.
82'
Djibril Cisse finds space on QPR's left flank and he plays the ball past Emmerson Boyce, who does little wrong. Cisse stops in his tracks and stares at the referee, presumably to prompt a free-kick decision. Nothing given.
80'
We've hit another little lull in the match. QPR are getting a foot on the ball a bit more, partly thanks to the introduction of Esteban Granero, but chances are still few and far between.
77'
Granero enters the game and replaces S. Diakité.
S. Maloney enters the game and replaces David Jones.
This is a good response from QPR but it's too little, too late. The visitors are starting to press Wigan a bit more and Roberto Martinez's men can only play sideways or back.
Minute
Description
74'
J. McCarthy has scored a goal for Wigan Athletic! Assist by J. Beausejour.
QPR were not ahead for long and again, slack marking has cost Harry Redknapp's men. James McCarthy is allowed too much space in the middle of the pitch, he plays he ball out to Jean Beausejour, who measures his options before giving the ball back to the advancing McCarthy, and the midfielder gets the ball out of his feet and hits low past Rob Green.
72'
D. Cissé has scored a goal for Queens Park Rangers! Assist by S. Wright-Phillips.
And Wigan gift QPR the lead. Adrian Lopez plays a horrendous ball out from the back which is too short and easily intercepted. Shaun Wright-Phillips jinks towards the box, finds Djibril Cisse, and the striker's neat finish creeps low past Ali Al Habsi.
70'
QPR have their tails up (kind of) and are getting onto the ball more often. Wigan have lapsed a little but the work rate from the visitors seems to have gone up a notch.
68'
And that's a good chance squandered by QPR. Jamie Mackie finds the ball in the right side of Wigan's penalty area, he fires a cross over and Stephane Mbia meets the ball with a strike which forces Ali Al Habsi into a save.
66'
This is brighter from QPR. Ryan Nelsen dribbles out from the back but is brought down. Harry Redknapp would perhaps want his wingers doing the same as the centre-back, but it's a start.
64'
Ah, QPR do get into Wigan's half and Shaun Wright-Phillips plays the ball into Djibril Cisse but the Frenchman is dispossessed superbly by Adrian Lopez.
61'
Wigan are still the team who are looking most likely to change the scoreline here. QPR are still sitting deep and it looks a struggle for them to get out of their own half.
59'
Adel Tarrabt is now off for Djibril Cisse in order to give QPR a bit more firepower but Harry Redknapp's men need to start building from the back if they want to get three points from this.
58'
D. Cissé enters the game and replaces A. Taarabt.
QPR are very deep here and are just gifting possession back to Wigan once they clear the initial danger.
57'
Rob Green is called into action again as David Jones's strike is saved low. Arouna Kone picks up the loose ball and feeds Jordi Gomez who crashes his narrow effort against the crossbar.
54'
Jordi Gomez stings the palms of Rob Green with a long-range effort. The QPR pushes the ball over for a corner and QPR eventually clear.
52'
We've got a break in play as Stephane Mbia is in a race with James McCarthy. Mbia brings his arm across to fend off McCarthy but the midfielder goes down and the physio eventually trots on.
50'
Now Wigan are on the attack and show be back in front. James McCarthy is played through but he fires his shot straight at Rob Green. QPR fail to clear and Jean Beausejour delivers a superb ball from Wigan's left flank but Jordi Gomez fails to connect from four yards out.
49'
Another chance for QPR as Shaun Wright-Phillips plays a pass inside to Adel Taarabt but the Moroccan opts to hit his shot first time but blazes over.
48'
And another half chance goes begging for QPR. Armand Traore goes buccaneering down his side's left flank and his low cross is heading towards Jamie Mackie before the striker slips and the ball is cleared.
And we're back underway at the DW Stadium.
45' +2
A. Taarabt gets yellow.
And that's all for the first half, folks. Phil Dowd blows for half time.
45' +1
It's decision making which has prevented either side from taking the lead following the two goals, and Shaun Wright-Phillips is the latest culprit as the winger opts for a shot from a narrow and distant angle, rather than a cross. Groans can be heard from the away support.
44'
We're given the second shot of Djibril Cisse sitting on the QPR bench. He looks really miserable.
43'
And Wigan are awarded a free kick to the left of QPR's box. The ball is aimed towards Arouna Kone but the hosts are able to get the ball clear.
41'
And a half chance for QPR goes begging. Shaun Wright-Phillips crosses the ball into Jamie Mackie, who had enough time to control and turn, but the striker heads first time and gets his effort horribly wrong.
40'
QPR are finding this difficult. They can obtain possession in the middle third but Wigan are organised and already have enough numbers back to deal with the threat. The visitors look reluctant to throw people forward.
38'
QPR are lacking shape at the moment and Wigan are finding the right passes initially but the final ball from Roberto Martinez's men is what needs to be improved.
36'
Remember my observation about Jamie Mackie looking isolated? Well, the striker is fed a 40-yard clearance to his feet but Wigan have five players round him. The QPR man wins a free kick for his side and Harry Redknapp's men are given a chance to breathe.
34'
Referee Phil Dowd has blown up for a handball about 35 yards out from QPR's goal. Jordi Gomez lines up the free kick but his effort is high and wide.
33'
QPR are on the ropes here. James McArthur displays a nice bit of skill to give himself space inside QPR's box but the midfielder's shot is blocked. Wigan still have possession and Harry Redknapp's men are being backed into a corner.
31'
The equaliser seems to have livened Wigan up as another Ronnie Stam cross is dumped into QPR's box which causes a bit of a panic before Phil Dowd adjudges Rob Green to have been fouled.
28'
And now it's Wigan's turn to offer a reply. The hosts throw men forward and Clint Hill is almost caught out as he allows the ball to run across him inside the area following Ronnie Stam's cross. Franco Di Santo was there at the back post and the forward should have put Roberto Martinez's side back in front but his effort his poor and easily saved by Rob Green.
26'
R. Nelsen has scored a goal for Queens Park Rangers! Assist by A. Taarabt.
And we're level at the DW Stadium. Ryan Nelsen is allowed free reign inside Wigan's area and with nobody following the centre-back, he meets Adel Taarabt's corner to head firmly past Ali Al Habsi.
24'
QPR have not let the goal get them down, though, and Harry Redknapp's men are charging towards Wigan's goal once more and they've won a corner through their efforts.
21'
We're cut to a clip of Harry Redknapp slumped in his chair having a quiet word with Joe Jordan. He doesn't look happy but it was a superb effort from James McCarthy.
19'
J. McCarthy has scored a goal for Wigan Athletic!
A fine strike for the midfielder sees Wigan take the lead. The ball from the corner is played in but QPR only clear as far as James McCarthy, who drills low first time past Rob Green from outside the box. Replays show that McCarthy's strike took a deflection off Jamie Mackie on its way to goal.
17'
First strong chance to Wigan and it's laced with flair as David Jones flicks the ball up to himself for a volley and the midfielder forces a save from Rob Green who palms the ball over for a corner.
15'
And it's a woeful delivery from Jean Beausejour who manages to find the head of the first defender with pin-point accuracy. QPR clear with ease.
13'
A half chance for Wigan has left Arouna Kone floored following a collision in QPR's box. It's a corner for the hosts but the striker is off the pitch.
11'
Still no clear-cut chances to tell you about. Wigan have finally had a lengthy spell in possession but couldn't create anything from it. QPR are looking confident on the ball but the final pass is letting them down.
9'
A little bit of ego from Adel Taarabt sees the Moroccan attempt a 40-yard pass to Shaun Wright-Phillips when a shorter option looked the best bet. His ball from left to right is drilled out towards the corner flag.
6'
An early observation of QPR, Jamie Mackie looks incredibly isolated when the ball is played too direct. He's having to hold up play for a good five seconds before even thinking off offloading to another player in a red shirt.
4'
Adel Taarabt also has an effort from far out but Ali Al Habsi gets down comfortably to save. Wigan yet to get on the ball at all.
3'
This is a bright opening for QPR. Wigan are chasing the ball and the away side are keeping possession nicely. A string of passes eventually leads to Shaun Wright-Phillips shooting from distance by Ali Al Habsi punches clear.
1'
And QPR get us underway.
Welcome to today's LIVE commentary for Wigan Athletic vs QPR. I'm Chris Davie, we'll get this show underway right now...
The teams are already in, so without any further hesitation.
Sadly for QPR fans, a first win for Harry Redknapp wouldn't even lift the club off the bottom of the table. However, providing Southampton lose today, QPR could just be three points behind Nigel Adkins' side, who are in 18th.
Harry Redknapp has made one change from the side which secured a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa last Saturday. Esteban Granero drops to the bench as Shaun Derry comes in.
A win for Wigan today could see them leapfrog Aston Villa into 15th, providing Paul Lambert's men pick up nothing against Stoke City this afternoon.
Roberto Martinez makes two changes following his side's 3-0 defeat at Newcastle United on Monday. Maynor Figueroa is suspended so Adrian Lopez is handed his second Premier League start this season, while Ronnie Stam is replaced by James McArthur.
Right, the teams are going through all the pre-match formalities. I'm a Believer by The Monkees is blaring out through the PA system. Very apt, especially for the away support.
As mentioned earlier, Harry Redknapp's men would have stayed bottom whatever the result today but the bad news for them is that Southampton have beaten Reading, which means QPR are six points from safety.
It's also Harry Redknapp's third draw in a row since taking charge at Loftus Road.
And that's it from me today. Thanks very much for sticking with me this afternoon.
