The game is slowly petering to a close here. Liverpool are sitting back and keeping the ball away from the Latics, it's been an excellent second half from them.
90'
Liverpool are dangerous on the break and Raheem Sterling has been all over Wigan on the right, he finds the run of Jonjo Shelvey in the penalty area but god knows what Shelvey's doing as he fires the ball softly at Ali Al-Habsi with players lurking around the box just waiting to put the ball into the net.
88'
They're not short of effort they Wigan players as they're continuing to have a go at Liverpool to try and get a consolation. Shaun Maloney's ran all game and he does well down the left beating two men before Skrtel block his cross out for a corner.
87'
J. Shelvey enters the game and replaces L. Suárez.
85'
Half-chance again for Wigan as Jordi Gomez lets fly from the edge of the area but his left-footed shot goes just wide of the target. That's the way it's gone for the Latics.
83'
Our man at Anfield, David Lynch, sums up Liverpool's dominance: " Liverpool absolutely flying here with the confidence which has been denied them during a barren Anfield run in recent times. Jose Enrique - obviously alongside the excellent Suarez - has been the Reds' outstanding player, enjoying perhaps his best game for the Merseyside club."
82'
J. Carragher enters the game and replaces D. Agger.
81'
CHANCE!! Luis Suarez is so close to a hat-trick as Enrique puts him beyond the Wigan defence, the Uruguayan shoots first time but the effort goes just wide of the post with Ali Al-Habsi beaten. The Latics haven't been able to stop the trio of Suarez, Enrique and Raheem Sterling all game.
79'
Going forward the Reds' are looking unstoppable and Wigan are fighting to keep the scoreline respectable. Defensively down the left they've been at sixes and sevens as this time Andre Wisdom finds all sorts of space but Maynor Figueroa is there to cut out his cross but it can reach Luis Suarez.
77'
Liverpool have taken their foot off the gas and Wigan are getting the ball in dangerous area but it's the story of the match for them as they haven't been able to muster a clear attempt at goal. Jean Beausejour sums this up nicely as he lifts his cross high above the awaiting players in the penalty area and out for a throw in.
Minute
Description
74'
A chance for Wigan from a corner, a nice routine from Jordi Gomez forces Pepe Reina to leap over his defenders and punch clear but only as far as Jean Beausejour who shoots and Reina makes a good save, but again palms the ball straight to a Latics player, but luckily for him Arouna Kone was well offside.
71'
Wigan have lost their confidence completely and this could be five or six by the time this is over. Liverpool are just picking them apart at will especially down the left where they haven't been able to stop Raheem Sterling.
69'
Jordi Gómez enters the game and replaces G. Caldwell.
R. Miyaichi enters the game and replaces F. Di Santo.
68'
Wigan are not happy at that goal as Ivan Ramis ball took a deflection on it's way out which Liverpool benefited from to get their third strike. They do have cause to be aggrieved.
66'
G. Caldwell gets yellow.
F. Di Santo gets yellow.
65'
José Enrique has scored a goal for Liverpool!
GOALL!!!! It's 3-0 now and Jose Enrique gets the goal this time as he taps home from five yards. Luis Suarez and Raheem Sterling again combine well to set-up the Spaniard with a neat one-two. The England international shoots but Ali Al-Habsi makes the save but can only push the ball as far as the former Newcastle man.
63'
We've seen the good side of Luis Suarez with two wonderful goals but now we see the bad as he puts in an awful challenge on David Jones and is very lucky to escape a red card. Fortunately for the Uruguayan the referee didn't see the incident.
61'
Liverpool are all over Wigan at the minute and are cutting them open at will this time Raheem Sterling finds Luis Suarez in the area again, the striker twists and turns but Gary Caldwell is on hand to block his effort behind for a corner.
59'
A side note for Liverpool and Luis Suarez for helping me prove my point about possession. Cheers guys.
58'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by José Enrique.
GOALL!!! Liverpool double their lead and again it's Suarez who pokes the ball Ali Al-Habsi into the bottom corner to give his side a two-goal cushion. The Uruguayan has to thanks Jose Enrique who did brilliantly for the assist as he cuts infield and feeds the striker with a lovely through ball leaving him one-on-one with the keeper.
56'
Wigan strangely enough are still ahead in terms of possession as they lead Liverpool 52-48 so it just shows it's not all about how much you have the ball. It's how you use it.
54'
Half-chance for Wigan as Jean Beausejour finds Franco Di Santo in the middle of the field, the Argentine has options around but goes for goal himself and shoots straight at Pepe Reina. Emmerson Boyce who was free on the right is not happy with his team-mate.
52'
Liverpool are settling into a passing rhythm now as Steven Gerrard is passing the ball around at will with little pressure on him from the Wigan midfield.
50'
Little errors are starting to creep into Wigan's game now as Ivan Ramis hauls down Luis Suarez, they can't afford to lose their discipline here the Latics.
48'
What a blow for Wigan. They haven't played that badly but that one mistake could cost them big here.
47'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by R. Sterling.
GOALL!!!!! Liverpool take the lead and it's Luis Suarez who's got the goal as he fires Raheem Sterling's cross into the top corner from close range. It was a mistake from Jean Beasejour who underhit his pass to Maynor Figueroa and Sterling nipped in and quickly found the Uruguayan waiting in the area.
46'
We're back underway at Anfield.
Scrappy start to the half as Wigan lose possession and then James McCarthy goes in hard on Steven Gerrard but credit to the England skipper he's up straight away.
45' +2
Daniel Agger decides he's going to wind up and shoots from about 30 yards but as ever this afternoon Gary Caldwell is on hand to make an excellent block.
45'
Another nasty knock for a player as this time it's Joe Allen who gets a foot to the face while scrambling for the ball on his back. It looks as though his face has been cut and he's getting treatment off the field.
43'
CHANCE!!! Luis Suarez is so close to giving Liverpool the lead as he fires the ball across goal but somehow Ali Al-Habsi gets a hand to the ball and turns it away after Steven Gerrard had set-up the Uruguayan up expertly.
41'
Oh Pepe Reina has just schooled Franco Di Santo. The Argentine closes in on the keeper but the Spaniard has other ideas as he skins the striker with a clever turn and clears the ball downfield. Nice.
39'
M. Figueroa gets yellow.
As I say that Jordan Henderson feeds Steven Gerrard who pushes forward to just outside the penalty area but he slices his shot and the ball goes harmlessly wide.
38'
The flow of the game has been slightly disrupted by the subs as both teams have struggled to get going especially going forward after their respective changes.
36'
J. Henderson enters the game and replaces Suso.
No of course they can't as Luis Suarez fires the kick 10 feet over the bar. Well we're getting closer.
35'
Liverpool have a free kick now in a similar position after Luis Suarez was fouled. Can they do better?
34'
Oh dear. Daniel Agger fouls Franco Di Santo about 30 yards from goal. From the free kick Maynor Figueroa takes it upon himself and steps up and fires the ball about 20 feet over the cross bar. Awful effort.
32'
David Jones enters the game and replaces B. Watson.
That injury to Ben Watson has forced him off and it's a like for like sub for former Wolves midfielder David Jones who'll slot into the midfield.
31'
What a run by Glen Johnson as he races down the left beating two defenders before putting a delightful cross into the area but Suso heads just over from close range. Liverpool being very wasteful in the final third.
28'
The resulting free kick from Ivan Ramis hits the wall or more precisely the head of Andre Wisdom and goes out for a corner. After all that...
26'
Looks like Ben Watson has a dead leg and looks to be in a lot of pain. He may struggle to get back onto the pitch at this rate as he's helped to the sideline.
24'
Ben Watson gets a nasty knock as he falls awkwardly on his knee after going up for a header with Raheem Sterling. The physio's on and there's a break in play so the midfielder can receive some treatment.
22'
CHANCE!! Suso has a glorious chance to put Liverpool in the lead as he races into the area and shoots but Ali Al-Habsi is on hand to make a good save to keep the scores level.
21'
Liverpool's turn to really up the pressure now as it's been a topsy turvy opening 20 minutes. First Glen Johnson sees his effort deflected over the bar from just outside the area then Daniel Agger heads just over from the resulting corner.
20'
A dangerous free-kick from Steven Gerrard nearly ends up in James McCarthy putting the ball through his own net as his attempted clearance looped up and fortunately for him went over the bar.
17'
Slight appeal for a penalty from the Liverpool crowd as Suso goes down in the penalty area, but it's waved away by referee Kevin Friend. The ball goes back to Jose Enrique whose cross is well cleared. A frustrating time for Reds' in the final third so far.
15'
Just to show Wigan are creeping back into the game the possession stat from the last five minutes reveals they're having 77% of it compared to Liverpool's 23%.
14'
Wigan are starting to impose themselves on this game now and Ben Watson fires just over the bar after a lovely move down the left which featured about five one touch passes. They do play good play football the Latics.
12'
Oh dear a nice bit of build-up play from Wigan down the right is ruined by an awful pass from Arouna Kone who somehow fails to find Emmerson Boyce who's about two feet from him. What a waste.
10'
Liverpool are straight on the attack after Pepe Reina's clearance down field and Ben Watson has to be alert as he diverts Jose Enrique's cross behind for another Liverpool corner.
8'
Nice bit of defensive work by Andre Wisdom as he fires the ball off Jean Beausejour for a goal kick as the winger was pressing him deep in the Liverpool. Showing experience beyond his years there.
6'
CHANCE!! Liverpool are putting Wigan under pressure early on and a good pass from Steven Gerrard sets Suso on a run and he races into the penalty area where he shoots but Gary Caldwell is on hand to make a good block.
4'
CHANCE!! Jose Enrique does well in midfield to dispossess Ben Watson he drives at the Wigan defence before firing an effort at goal which goes just past the post. Good stuff from the Spaniard.
3'
The resulting corner is poor from Steven Gerrard and is cleared by Wigan, who didn't look that capable defensively against West Brom last week.
2'
Strong start for Liverpool as they test the Wigan defence early on first Suarez's shot is saved by Ali Al-Habsi and moments later Ivan Ramis turns Jose Enrique's dangerous cross out for a corner.

We're underway at Anfield
Hello and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE! commentary of today's Premier League clash between Liverpool and Wigan at Anfield. My name is Simon Sinclair and I'll be taking you through all the action as it happens on Merseyside.
Team News: Wigan: Al Habsi; Ramis, Caldwell, Figueroa; Boyce, Watson, McCarthy, Beausejour; Maloney, Di Santo, Kone.
Subs: Pollitt, Jones, Gomez, McManaman, Boselli, Stam, Miyaichi.
Liverpool have made three changes from the team that drew with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out. Pepe Reina returns in goal after a seven game absence replacing Brad Jones while Martin Skrtel comes in for Jamie Carragher. Elsewhere Nuri Sahin drops to the bench for Suso.
Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has stuck with the same team and formation that lost to West Brom last week as they continue with their 3-4-2-1 formation. Arouna Kone starts up-front on his while he's supported by Shaun Maloney and Franco Di Santo who sit just behind him.
Stat Attack: Liverpool last beat Wigan in 2009 and only five members of that team, Pepe Reina, Jamie Carragher, Martin Skrtel, Daniel Agger and Steven Gerrard are still Reds' players.
On their last visit to Anfield Wigan came away 2-1 victors as goals from Shaun Maloney and Gary Caldwell sealed a vital win cancelling out a strike from Luis Suarez. Can the Latics pull of the same feat again?
Stat attack: Liverpool have kept one clean sheet in the last nine clashes with Wigan. Bit ominous for Brendan Rodgers' side.
Half-time at Anfield and it's still all square. Luis Suarez has had the best chance for Liverpool so far but Wigan keeper Ali Al-Habsi was on hand to make an excellent save. Other than that it's been pretty poor in the final third from both teams. If either side wants to win this game they're going to have to improve after the break.
Our man at Anfield, David Lynch, summarises the first half: " A performance from the hosts which is difficult to summarise beyond looking to past frustating showings at Anfield. Things will have change at half-time if this is going to end as anything but a draw."
It's all over at Anfield and Liverpool seal the points in what has been an excellent 45 minutes of football from them as their second half performance was brilliant. Luis Suarez was at his clinical best in front of goal while Raheem Sterling and Jose Enrique were also excellent as Wigan had no answer for them and were made to rue a mistake from Jean Beausejour that opened the floodgates.
