Helton almost puts his team in trouble again, as he collects the ball from a poor free-kick, but throws it almost directly to a Kiev player!
Maicon's has allowed his emotions to get the better of him, and reacts angrily to a poor Veloso challenge, and receives a card for his troubles.
90' +2
Miguel Lopes enters the game and replaces J. Rodríguez.
90' +1
Veloso switches the play beautifully, and Husyev controls the pass well. However, Danilo manages the rob the winger of the ball, deflecting it off his opponent for a goal kick. There are three minutes of stoppage time.
90'
Maicon opts to hoof the ball clear, rather than attempt to give the ball back to Helton. I would have done the same in his situation, the Brazilian keeper has been less than convincing tonight.
89'
Veloso attempts a long-range effort from about 30 yards out, as he looked to cap his return to Portugal with a goal, but his strike is poor and he drags the ball wide.
87'
Garmash threads the ball in between Danilo and Maicon, expecting Husyev to get in behind, but the ball skims off the wet grass and evades the winger.
85'
Atsu almost gets in behind the Kiev back four, but the ball spins off the turf, bamboozling the winger, and the opportunity disappears.
84'
N. Kranjčar enters the game and replaces O. Vukojević.
Niko Kranjcar takes to the field for the last ten minutes, as Kiev look to get something out of this game.
82'
Porto win a free-kick in a dangerous area, but Rodriguez' delivery fails to beat the first man and Ideye heads away.
Minute
Description
81'
D. Harmash gets yellow.
80'
Kiev are yet to make a substitution, despite having Niko Kranjcar on the bench. Despite their two goals, the away side are relatively toothless up front, and you would think that a change is needed sooner rather than later.
78'
J. Martínez has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by L. González.
GOAL! MARTINEZ! With his second! Lucho Gonzalez beats the offside trap as the Kiev defence switch off, squares the ball across the six yard box, and Martinez has the easiest finish of his life!
75'
S. Defour enters the game and replaces João Moutinho.
Moutinho is replaced by Defour. The Portuguese maestro has failed to really get into gear tonight, so the change is understandable.
73'
Husyev is denied a free-kick after a blatant shove by Maicon, but it may be seen as justice being done, after earlier dives by the away side..
72'
B. Ideye has scored a goal for Dinamo Kiev! Assist by A. Yarmolenko.
GOAL! Ideye fires home fantastically! After seeing an earlier opportunity saved by Helton, the Nigerian brings down a lofted through ball by Yarmolenko and volleys the ball off Helton's face and in!
69'
The referee is yet to award a yellow card in this match, but both sides, and most players, have most definitely committed their fair share of cynical fouls.
67'
Atsu's first involvement is positive, as he ghosts inside two defenders, the ball is eventually swung into the box by Lucho, but Betao heads the danger away.
65'
The referee awards Kiev a free kick in a dangerous area, Veloso whips in yet another world class ball, and Helton makes his customary meal of the cross. He couldn't command his area if his life depended on it.
64'
C. Atsu enters the game and replaces Silvestre Varela.
Moments after his poor cross, Varela makes way for the pacey Cristian Atsu, as Vitor Pereira uses his first substitution of the night.
61'
Disappointing from Varela, the wide man beats Betao for pace, but screws his cross wildly out of play for a goal kick. He can be excused due to his earlier finish, mind.
60'
Porto are far more composed on the ball, but are being limited to playing the long ball to Martinez, as Kiev's intelligent pressing is restricting the home side's play.
59'
Frustration for Ideye, as when the striker is finally involved in the game, he gives away a foul for a push on his marker.
56'
A great sliding challenge from Maicon takes the ball away from Husyev, who attempted to skin his marker and get to the byline. Taiwo commits yet another foul whilst trying to regain possession and could be getting close to a yellow card..
55'
Both sides are failing to fill the opposition box, yet they opt to cross the ball. It's been quite an easy evening for Porto's defenders so far, and Ideye is an isolated figure for Kiev.
52'
Mykhalyk makes a vital intervention to prevent James Rodriguez from getting a shot at Kiev's goal.
MARTINEZ! Oh so close! He brings Danilo's cross down, and hits a half-volley on the turn, but the ball whistled over the angle of the post!
49'
Awkward punch from Helton! Taiwo played a looping cross in from the left, but the Brazilian keeper flapped at it under no pressure at all! He could be the weak link that Kiev may look to exploit..
48'
Husyev breaks down the left, and delivers an awful cross under no pressure. If Kiev are to get anything from this match, they need to stop being so wasteful!
James Rodriguez manages to keep the ball in after being played in behind his full-back by Martinez, but his cross comes to nothing - again.
47'
After his horrendous dive in the first half, Taiwo starts the second one similarly catastrophically, with a blatant handball.
46'
The second half is underway! A statistic to keep in mind, is that Porto have only lost once to a Ukrainian side once before, and have never drawn to one!
45' +1
Helton tries a cheeky Cruyff turn under no pressure in the Porto box, he seems more happy with the ball at his feet than in his hands!
44'
Porto look to have the upper hand generally, but the counter-attacking nature of Kiev's play makes it impossible to rule out more goals for the visitors. There are two minutes of stoppage time.
42'
Ideye is down injured, after colliding with the man-mountain of Mangala. He should be okay to continue.
Taiwo steams down the left flank, carrying the ball for at least 40 yards, cuts into the Porto box, and dives horrifically. That's not one that anyone will want to see again.
41'
Martinez' movement so far in this game has been impressive. The striker is always looking for the ball in behind, and Lucho appears more than happy to supply him.
40'
All of Kiev's good work and pressing has been undone, and the Ukrainian side will hope to go in for the break level, as control slips into Porto's grasp.
38'
The relief amongst the home crowd is evident after Martinez' goal, who continues his prolific goalscoring form.
36'
J. Martínez has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by J. Rodríguez.
GOAL! Porto! Martinez slips the ball under Shovkovsky, after a lovely, delicate lofted through ball by Rodriguez! A goal out of the blue from the home side!
35'
Porto are struggling to find any gaps in the solid white wall of Kiev, as the away side look to have the hosts found out.
33'
Danilo opens up play, finding Varela on the other wing, the goalscorer whips in a ball towards Martinez, but the Kiev keeper claims the ball without any challenge.
32'
Varela is brought down by Betao in a reasonably dangerous position, giving away a free-kick, but Moutinho's delivery is eventually cleared by Kiev - despite Varela winning the first ball.
29'
Kiev aren't giving Porto any breathing space whatsoever, pressing very high up the field, in order to prevent Porto's trio in midfield from getting a foothold in the game.
28'
The game is currently a midfield battle for possession, but although Porto are enjoying more of the ball, thus far they haven't done a great deal with it.
26'
Kiev aren't prepared to do any unnecessary chasing, and are happy to either sit deep if they need to, or press high up the field, in order to nullify Porto's attacking options. Looks like a counter-attacking set-up from the away side.
24'
Porto have already shown in the opening stages that they are prepared to mix up their play, looking just as comfortable with the ball in the air, as they are with it on the floor.
23'
Jackson Martinez sees an acrobatic effort cannon off Shovkovsky's crossbar, but the linesman already has his flag up for offside!
21'
O. Husiev has scored a goal for Dinamo Kiev! Assist by Miguel Veloso.
GOAL! Kiev! Husyev fires a header past a helpless Helton, after another wicked corner delivery from Veloso!
Seconds earlier, Danilo burst into the Kiev area, cutting inside a sliding defender, and went down under a suspect challenge. Porto never looked to regain their composure and the away side's goal is a result of that.
19'
Miguel Veloso is denied a goal on his competitive return to his homeland, as Helton tips the ball onto the post! That's a very good save..
18'
Kiev has offered nothing so far in this game, and it looks like Porto's for the taking. The Portuguese side look composed on the ball and it seems a matter of how many, rather than what the result will be.
17'
Kiev are without coach Oleg Blokhin for tonight's match, as the former Ukraine boss has been advised not to attend away matches, after undergoing surgery for hypertension.
15'
Silvestre Varela has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by L. González.
GOAL! Great strike from Varela! Lucho squares the ball to the edge of the area, Varela takes a touch out of his feet, before smashing the ball into the top corner with his right foot! What a peach!
13'
Veloso whips in a teasing corner , which was creeping into the top corner at the back post, Helton tips the ball over the bar in what turned out to be actually quite a smart save!
11'
Husyev throws himself to the floor after becoming isolated on the left wing, but the ref isn't having any of it, and rightly so!
10'
Harmash whips a ball in from the right, but Fernando blocks the ball and sends it out for a corner - in truth it was a poor delivery. The corner is claimed easily by Helton.
8'
Yarmolenko is robbed of the ball, as Porto's three man midfield mob the Ukrainian, the away side are yet to really impose themselves on this match.
7'
A long ball is played forward from Moutinho, it eventually finds itself at Martinez' feet and there is a moment of confusion between Shovkovsky and his central defenders - but they manage to clear.
5'
Porto have a free-kick in a semi-dangerous area, but the Kiev keeper is able to collect the cross easily.. that was a waste.
4'
Porto have settled slightly better out of the two sides, and Joao Moutinho has already shown the range of passing that he has in his arsenal.
2'
A wonderful passage of play from Porto sees Fernando almost burst into the Kiev penalty area, but the ball is well intercepted.
1'
And we are underway!
Welcome to Goal.com's LIVE commentary of the Champions League Group A clash between Porto and Kiev at Estadio Do Dragao.
I'm Simon Harrison, and I shall be informing you of all of the action, as Porto look for three points at home, to steer them towards qualification for the knockout stages.
Five minutes until kick-off, and the teams are waiting in the tunnel. James Rodriguez could be the player to watch tonight, as the Colombian has netted in Porto's last five league matches, while Kiev's Andriy Yarmolenko could prove to be a tricky customer.
The Champions League anthem blazes out in the evening air at Estadio Do Dragao, and is heartily received by both the home and away support.
Porto have seen much more of the ball, as demonstrated by their 60% of possession, but the away side were able to nullify them for long periods of the match. As Kiev tire due to their endless pressing, this game could really open up in the second half.
And the referee calls time on the first half. Porto have grown into the game and look the stronger of the two sides.
The Ukrainian league leaders could snatch another goal from set-pieces however, as so far Porto have failed to deal with Veloso's excellent corner deliveries.
And the ref calls an end to proceedings! Porto are almost in the knockout stages, thanks to two goals from Jackson Martinez!
A flurry of yellow cards marred the end of the match, but Porto won't mind as they have their hands on a vital three points. Helton almost cost the hosts with his horrendous lack of command in his own area, as Kiev failed to really find the cutting edge or creative spark they required.
This result maintains Porto's 100% record in Group A, but leaves Kiev with a small mountain to climb, as they need to overhaul second-placed PSG to progress.
We hope you enjoyed our live commentary of Porto's dramatic 3-2 Champions League win against Kiev, I'm Simon Harrison and I'll see you again next time.
