Neville slings a long throw in the box but Heitinga commits a foul, and that's it!
90' +3
Perhaps a last chance for Everton here with a long free kick - no, they don't commit anybody forward and it bounces out for a throw.
90' +2
Jagielka makes another fantastic block to deny QPR. Diakite drives an effort at goal that Park blocks, and as it breaks with Howard on the floor, the defender races across to clear, winning a free kick in the process. What a performance from the England international.
90'
Four minutes for either side to find a winner - and Mark Hughes' side look the likelier at the moment.
89'
Cisse drives an effort from out wide around 20 yards out but it was never going in. A waste from the forward when QPR should be building pressure around the Everton box.
88'
Only a couple of minutes to go, and the home side are getting increasingly frustrated. You feel that Moyes would take a point now considering his side are down to 10 men and have been far from their best.
85'
Not sure what Baines was doing there, as he slams the ball well over Cesar's goal. Atrocious from such a gifted dead-ball specialist, but perhaps he's simply worn out from this half's efforts.
84'
A. Ferdinand enters the game and replaces R. Nelsen.
J. Heitinga enters the game and replaces N. Jelavić.
And now Bosingwa fouls Osman near the QPR area and Everton have a great chance for an unlikely winner...
83'
Everton have a free kick 45 yards out to relieve the strain, and could well snatch something here.
82'
And now Howard makes an acrobatic save from Hoilett's swerving effort from the edge of the area. Great save, but now QPR have a free kick 25 yards out...
Taarabt bends it round the wall, but can't get it close enough to goal, and Everton survive once more. Fantastic pressure from the hosts, who are throwing everything at the visitors.
Minute
Description
79'
Big shouts for a penalty for QPR but referee Moss is unmoved. The ball comes in to Hoilett and Coleman makes the challenge, but gets a toe to the ball. Good call from Moss, as it would've been very easy to give.
78'
Cisse is through on goal - but he's flagged offside. Good defending from Jagielka to catch out the forward, but Cisse looks sharp; he'll be a threat as the game comes to a close.
76'
And now Park lays the ball through for Cisse, but Howard is out quickly to make a great tackle to avert danger. Fantastic anticipation from the keeper there.
75'
Great work from Hoilett to get around Osman and his 25 yard effort draws a fine save from Tim Howard. THe ball falls to Granero on the left, but he blasts over when a cross was the better option. QPR really pressing now.
72'
N. Onuoha enters the game and replaces A. Traoré.
Djibril Cisse is on for Zamora - can the enigmatic striker get three pricelss points for the struggling Londoners?
71'
D. Cissé enters the game and replaces B. Zamora.
70'
Somehow Everton don't score here - the corner is floated in, and Distin heads back across goal, with Jagielka's goal-bound header brilliantly saved by Cesar. The ball is eventually scrambled away, and Jelavic goes for a chip, but it's a poor effort and flies over. Still level here.
69'
Mirallas fires at goal after a fine move down the flank with Baines but Mbia heads over....
67'
S. Diakité gets yellow.
Granero picks out Zamora with a long ball forward, who found space between Distin and Jagielka, but his volley is straight at Howard. Good movement, but the finish has to be better to beat the American from there.
65'
Everton are in danger of having more players going off here, with Phil Neville almost taking out a QPR player. He will be booked for the next one for sure. And now Diakite brings down Mirallas and gets a caution. It's getting heated out there.
63'
Everton will be up against it now - Pienaar may well have cost his side a chance of victory with three needless fouls in this half, but QPR will have to be wary of the Toffees on the counter attack now.
61'
S. Pienaar gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
60'
And now Pienaar is off! It looks like a silly foul from Pienaar on Bosingwa but replays show little [if any[ contact was made with the Portuguese appearing to slip over. Very harsh, but you can't go anywhere near a tackle after having just been warned the next one will be red.
59'
Pienaar nearly collects his second booking of the half for a robust aerial challenge on Park, but Moss decides to be lenient and the South African stays on the field. He may well be taken off to avoid a red at some point now.
56'
End to end here, with both sides looking for a way through. Hoilett drives forward once more but hesitates and wastes the opportunity, while Everton get forward again but Baines' cross deflects off a few legs and ends up being safely cleared.
53'
S. Pienaar gets yellow.
Naismith is on for Anichebe on the right, with Coleman presumably given license to get further forward and supply crosses to the front men.
52'
S. Naismith enters the game and replaces V. Anichebe.
50'
QPR go close! Diakite goes on a fabulous run and finds himself in the Everton area, pulling the ball back for Park so seemingly finish - but Jagielka brilliantly denies the South Korean with a strong last-ditch sliding tackle. How important could that block prove to be?
48'
Mirallas is on the charge across the pitch, beating Granero but Traore gets it away. Much more vibrant from the visitors.
47'
It's Everton with the early pressure here, with Baines' cross from the left being punched away by Cesar. Strong hand from the Brazilian there, and a promising opening from Moyes' men.
45' +3
Taarabt wastes a promising opportunity and curls way over the bar from the left after good work by Hoilett, and that's half time! A fine half of football here, but both managers will be angry for different reasons.
45' +2
Beautiful flick from Taarabt to set Traore away, but Coleman does well to keep up and put the cross out for a corner. We're into the third minute of injury time after Anichebe's injury.
45'
The teams are out again and QPR kick things off. Both sides have had good chances in this game, and it'll be intriguing to see whether either manager looks to press home an early advantage before the tension sets in.
44'
The ball is floated in but despite confusion in the air, the referee gives a goal kick. Anichebe is down moments later and is bleeding from the head, and he looks in some pain after colliding strongly with Nelsen - the big Kiwi player is one player you don't want to bounce off of.
43'
Fine build-up play from the hosts and Park is close to finishing with a header, but good defending from Jagielka removes the danger. Now they have a promising free kick...
41'
Howard comes and punches to deny Zamora after the forward looked ready to beat Jagielka in the air there. QPR are finishing the half the stronger side here.
40'
Hoilett blasts over from 12 yards after fine hold-up play from Zamora. Better from Rangers there, who will need to keep up the same tempo seen in the first 30 minutes.
36'
As so often this season, QPR have shot themselves in the foot. Nobody tracked Distin from a routine ball in, and from a position of relative comfort, they now find themselves on the back foot against a resurgent Everton.
34'
My my, what a couple of minutes. Everton should have a penalty as Jelavic is clumsily tripped by Mbia straight away, and Traore shakily clears. From the resulting corner Jagielka powers a header against the bar. Everton are definitely in this game now!
33'
Júlio César is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
Disaster for QPR!!! The ball is decent enough, but Distin is completely unmarked at the back post. His header strikes the post and rebounds off the head of the unfortunate Cesar and rolls into the corner. 1-1, game on.
31'
Jagielka wins a free kick 40 yards from goal on the right, and this is a perfect chance to get the big centre backs forward...
29'
Hoilett's been impressive for the hosts so far - as well as the early goal, he's putting in huge amounts of effort to press Everton high up the pitch, and the visitors are struggling to get any sense of rhythm in their play.
26'
It's just not happening for the Toffees at the moment. QPR are looking resolute at the back, which must be a relief for Mark Hughes so far.
24'
Everton getting a little frustrated here, with Jon Moss giving Anichebe a talking to. David Moyes will want his players to retain their composure here, as they have enough quality to get themselves back into the game.
21'
Nelsen almost makes it two for Rangers here - Granero whips in a delightful free kick that the 35-year-old rises highest to meet, but could not get enough on the ball to keep it down. Let-off for Everton there.
19'
Anichebe spins and lashes an effort on goal on the right of the area, but Nelsen clears the effort away from goal. Quick feet from the forward there, and moments later he's denied by a brilliant tackle in the area by the New Zealand defender.
18'
Everton are pressing further forward now - they're not creating many clear-cut chances, but QPR will have to be wary of sitting back too deep as the half wears on.
16'
It's Jelavic who takes it, but it's a comfortable punch away for Cesar as the forward's 25-yard effort tries to catch him out in his near corner. Baines will have first dibs on the next one after that surely.
15'
Dangerous free kick for Everton here as Granero trips Pienaar. Surely Baines will have a go here...
13'
Park looks for Zamora and although the ball doesn't reach the area, Howard slipped over again - any more tumbles like the ones we've seen already could prove very costly.
11'
Great work from Granero to muscle Anichebe off the ball as the tall forward tries to fly past him. The £9million summer signing has impressed in the middle for Rangers this season, and looks like he could be a valuable player for them.
10'
Baines whips in a free kick that Jagielka tries to reverse volley into the net, but it's an easy takes for Cesar. The big keeper's experience will be priceless today at set pieces.
9'
Everton just struggling to get into the game here - they don't have Fellaini to look for in forward positions, so expect them to work it down the flanks a little more often today.
7'
So nearly a second for Rangers! Hoilett closes down Howard and the keeper slips, but manages to clear. Taarabt picks up the poor clearance, feeds Traore down the wing and his low cross just evades Zamora at the back post. Good work from Baines to deny the former Fulham forward there.
5'
Taarabt wins a free kick after Neville fouls him - the tricky attacker spinning delightfully away from Distin there. He'll be key for the hosts if they are to hold on today.
4'
Moyes will be fuming at the ease with which Hoilett was able to run 70 yards with the ball without being tackled. Poor from the visitors, who are usually far more energetic than that. Perhaps they committed too many men forward as they sensed the opportunity for an early opener themselves. Still, it's QPR's game to lose now.
2'
J. Hoilett has scored a goal for Queens Park Rangers! Assist by Júlio César.
Early corner to Everton as Coleman attempts to get around Traore. QPR will have to prevent the away side becoming too threatening down the flanks...
Bosingwa clears for aoother corner, which Julio Cesar punches away and QPR break...
GOAL FOR QPR!!! Hoilett collects Cesar's punch with a fine display of strength and bursts away - he has Taarabt to the left but goes alone and shoots from 25 yards, which deflects off of Baines and past a helpless Baines. Soft, but it's first blood to Rangers.
1'
And the match is underway! It's a great atmosphere at Loftus Road as the home crowd know how important a win would be today. A 3-0 would lift them above Aston VIlla and out of the relegation zone, which would be a perfect tonic to their early season woes.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of QPR - Everton at Loftus Road. Mark Hughes' home side are in desperate need of a first win of the season to lift them off bottom spot in the Premier League, while David Moyes' can cement fourth position with an away victory today.
And the team news is in...
QPR: Julio Cesar; Bosingwa, Nelsen, Mbia, Traore; Taarabt, Granero, Diakite, Park; Hoilett, Zamora.
Subs: Green, Ferdinand, Onuoha, Faurlin, Wright-Phillipps, Mackie, Cisse.
So the main news for the home side is that Anton Ferdinand is on the bench, with Nelsen and Mbia partnered at the back for Rangers. Marouane Fellaini is not fit enough to play for the hosts, so Mirallas, Anichebe and Jelavic all start for the Toffees in what could well be a high-scoring game.
The fortunes of both sides could hardly be any different so far; QPR have only scored once at home in three games, picking up a total of two points from a possible 21. Everton on the other hand have 14 from seven games, a top start considering Moyes' team have often struggled at the start of recent campaigns.
There's around 10 minutes to kick-off and it's an important day for May Hughes. QPR chairman Tony Fernandes has publicly backed the under-fire manager, but another home defeat today could serious affect the Welshman's chances of remaining in his job. It's early doors still, but he needs to start picking up points.
The teams are on the pitch and it's two former Manchester United players who lead the teams out in the form of Park Ji-sung and Phil Neville. Both left Old Trafford for regular football and will be looked to today to inspire their team mates to victory.
The sides head in for oranges and tea level at Loftus Road, with both Hughes and Moyes both perhaps feeling their sides should be ahead. QPR were the dominant sides for long spells, but almost threw it all away in a disastrous two minutes.
David Moyes will be aggrieved to have been denied a penalty straight after his side's equaliser, but after a lethargic first 30 minutes, may be quietly pleased to get into the dressing room at level pegging.
So, where does each side go from here? Could Djibril Cisse change the game from the bench, or could Everton's new boy Thomas Hitzlsperger come on to smash in a winner for the visitors? After the evidence on show already, an enthralling second 45 minutes awaits.
It's a point apiece for Hughes and Moyes, with neither side able to make the breakthrough for three points. The QPR boss may be the more disappointed of the two, with his team unable to capitalise on the one-man advantage in the last 30 minutes. Moyes' team were well below par, but had chances of their own to get a winner, so a draw is probably fair.
So QPR remain bottom of the pile, but things are looking up after a positive performance - but for two mad minutes, they would have claimed three points. But you can't afford to switch off in the Premier League, and Everton punished that lapse immediately. The Toffees go clear of fifth-placed Tottenham by a point, and have the Mersaeyside derby to look forward to next weekend.
