hmmm... i dont think a managerial change would help the team much now. The Abudabi people are too expectant of him to do a good job, when his only high-profile signing so far was robinho.

you have to be kidding me!

AC Milan are buying players way past their expiration date if you ask me! These former stars arent only old, but come with a huuge price tag. When will they learn?!
Their roster:http://www.soccerway.com/teams/italy/ac-milan/squad
Players on it I think are too old to play on a top-tier club:
Maldini, nesta, zambrotta- great italian defenders 10 years ago
Ambrosini, seedorf, gattuso all midfielders who are no longer fit enough to play for a europe-level team
Ronaldino: a good player, but no longer in his Barcelona prime
Inzaghi and shevchenko: great attackers a loong time ago

Buying Beckham (another dead star) is a horrible mistake. He didnt even stand out in the MLS. How can you expect him to get anything done in the Serie A?!!

He is good, rooney, but is waaayyy 2 emotional. The difference between a young star and a smart veteran is that the veteran never gets goaded or angry. he puts his emotions out of the game. Rooney once again displays amazing immaturity. Rooney might be a better player than say..... kaka or someone like that, but kaka is a more mature player. I have seen playground boys playing much more mature football than him. He is an amazing player but he is waayyyy too immature. I thought that Sir Alex Ferguson did a good job with C. Ronaldo, and I hope he does the same for wayne.

achavabill, i believe C. Ronaldo has already shown the maturity not to be attracted by big $$$. I think hes at ManU for good. And what disloyalty it would be to Fergie if he moved. Fergie turned him from a overconfident, bragging, inconsistent, temperamental, show-offing teenager into a truly mature footballer.

Nah i like soccer players not as much as teams, but there are a lot of players i like on chelsea. i also have a lot of respect for fergie and thought it was a slap in the face to him if he ever mentioned the thought about moving.

Timothy did you see the game? Rooney not only scored but really made his presence felt on the pitch. He played an outstanding game, which is so far one of many.

Can't be too sure about that; Messi was great with the ball. I suspect that walcott is a smarter player, but not necessarily better...... Also, if you play for Arsenal the other players get open for you well so you end up looking very good.... not to undermine Walcotts abilities.
