Hughton won´t walk out on Norwich

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has no intention of resigning amid reports that his days are numbered at Carrow Road.

The former Newcastle United boss is under pressure following a dismal run of eight games without a win in all competitions.

Norwich are 15th in the Premier League, just two points above the relegation zone, and face a crunch clash with Hull City on Saturday.

A defiant Hughton insisted after the 3-0 FA Cup defeat on Fulham on Tuesday that he does not fear the sack.

And the 55-year-old Londoner stressed that he will not be walking out on the club.

When asked if he would consider resigning, Hughton told reporters: "No, never.

"We understand the frustrations of everybody. We are working hard. A couple of wins and everybody looks at things a lot differently.

"We're all pulling in the same direction as we all want the same thing - to be further up the table.

"Our form in general hasn't been too bad. "

Hughton also confirmed that winger Anthony Pilkington (hamstring) and midfielder Alex Tettey (ankle) will be back in contention to face Steve Bruce's side."
