Juventus head coach Antonio Conte was satisfied with his side's 2-1 win over Chievo Verona in the Serie A amid a tough period of fixtures.
After four games in 11 days, Conte's men came from behind to beat Chievo with Alessandro Bernardini's own goal securing the three points.
Conte was pleased by his players' endeavours against their tricky opponents and reiterated how competitive the Serie A is this season.
"When there are so many consecutive matches, it can happen that in the middle of the series of matches we achieve the victory fighting tooth and nail," Conte said.
"I saw the willingness of my players to win the match despite all difficulties.
"I've already said and I continue saying that this season is going to be extremely difficult and I believe Juventus made a good job tonight and managed to win even if it wasn't easy."
The Italian tactician reserved significant praise for his opponent's president Luca Campedelli, who went out of his way post-game to 'cheer up' a linesman after his incorrect offside call ruled out a goal that would have seen Chievo lead Juventus 2-1.
"I believe this is an example that we all have to follow," Conte said.
"We always talk about fair play and I believe that today has been made by president Campedelli, Chievo coach Giuseppe Sannino and his players, who suffered a negative situation, whereas the situation has been positive for us.
"From today onwards we should follow Campedelli's example whether things are positive or not.
"I'm sure that in the future there will be positive and negative situations for us, just like has happened in the past."
Juventus continue their Serie A defence on Sunday with the short trip across town to meet bitter rivals Torino in the Turin derby.
