Brendan Rodgers hailed the "telepathic" understanding between Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, after Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 3-1.
The duo were both on the scoresheet at Anfield on Saturday, taking their tally to 12 goals between them in nine Premier League appearances they have made together.
Suarez notched the first after a smart one-two with Jose Enrique, before keeping his balance to slot past Julian Speroni.
And by the 17th minute, Sturridge had doubled the advantage, twisting and turning past Joel Ward on the left before firing hard across the goalkeeper for a fine solo goal.
Steven Gerrard made it 3-0 before half-time from the penalty spot, before Dwight Gayle pulled one back for Palace with a near-post header in the second half.
And Rodgers was particularly delighted with the impact of his strike partnership in the comfortable victory.
"They occupy a back four on their own because of their movement and cleverness," Rodgers said.
"Then after that the natural ability comes out. They're both movers, they're not static. They occupy a back four on their own because of their movement and cleverness then we get other players around them they're a real threat.
"You see that telepathic nature they have to play with each other today and obviously for the team it bodes really well for us going forward."
Rodgers felt his side's performance dipped in the second half, but was happy to collect the three points.
He added: "Our play in the attacking third in the first half was exceptional.
"The second half was nowhere near our best, without playing great we won the game.
"Probably last season we were guilty of playing well without getting the result but in spells our performance was very good.
"We've won the game having not played great to be honest."
