Manchester United manager David Moyes expects striker Wayne Rooney to be fit for Saturday's visit to Sunderland.
The England international was omitted from the club's 1-1 UEFA Champions League draw with Shakhtar Donetsk, after suffering a swollen shin in a training-ground clash with team-mate Danny Welbeck.
United could only stumble to draw in the Ukraine on Wednesday, with Taison cancelling out Welbeck's first-half opener.
But Moyes is confident of having Rooney available again for the weekend, in a much-needed boost ahead of the visit to the Premier League's bottom side.
"Wayne Rooney will be okay for Saturday," the United boss confirmed.
"He clashed shins with Danny Welbeck. At a push, we probably could have risked him (against Shakhtar) but we decided not to."
Moyes was happy to take a point in the Group A fixture, after seeing his side suffer a second consecutive loss in the Premier League to West Brom on Saturday.
And while he conceded that he was unhappy his team had failed to take all three points on their return to European action, the Scot felt that a draw was a fair result.
He added: "We had to be harder to play against than we have in recent games and we were.
"I'm beginning to understand the players a bit better. They were aware of how tough a game it was going to be and I thought we defended very well.
"There's a bit of disappointment that we didn't see the game out but I felt Shakhtar deserved something from the game."
