Troyes host Bordeaux in the rearranged semi-final of the Coupe de France on Tuesday for the right to play Evian TG in the final.
The Stade de l'Aube fixture was originally scheduled for May 7 but was postponed for safety reasons amid warnings of flooding.
It marks the first of two meetings between the sides in five days, as they also face off in the penultimate fixture of the Ligue 1 season on Saturday.
Awaiting the winners will be Evian, who completed a 4-0 rout of Lorient to reach the final courtesy of first-half strikes from Milos Ninkovic, Yannick Sagbo and Kevin Berigaud before Nadjib Baouia wrapped up the win in the second half.
Troyes' run to the final has included victories over Montceau, Fontenay-le-Comte, Sochaux and a 3-0 quarter-final win over Nancy.
It constitutes their best run since 2001, when they reached the last four before losing on penalties to Amiens. They have not gone all the way to the final since 1956, when they finished runners-up to Sedan.
The cup has proved a welcome distraction for Jean-Marc Furlan's side, who are embroiled in a relegation battle in Ligue 1. A 1-0 win against Ajaccio on Saturday leaves them in 19th position, three points adrift of safety.
Bordeaux have won the competition three times and appeared in a further six finals, but have not lifted the trophy since 1987.
They have defeated Chateauroux, Moulins, Raon L'Etape and Lens so far in the competition and will be hoping for silverware after a poor showing in Ligue 1 this season.
Their current position of eighth means they have little left to play for in the league. They beat relegation-threatened Nancy 3-2 on Saturday and finish their season with fixtures against Troyes and Evian.
Troyes have won just one of their last seven fixtures against Bordeaux but have defeated stronger opposition than their opponents in this season's competition to give them hope of an upset.
