Toure considering Monaco future

26 June 2013 11:34

Monaco attacker Ibrahima Toure has revealed that his future at the club is uncertain following the arrival of a host of big-money signings.

The Senegal international scored 18 goals in 35 appearances last season as the wealthy club secured promotion from Ligue 2 as champions.

But, after Monaco again evidenced their financial muscle by acquiring the likes of Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez, Toure has admitted that he could look to move on.

"I wanted to show I can play in the French top league. But if the coach doesn't give you the chance it's normal to think of an exit," he said.

Monaco have also secured the signatures of Ricardo Carvalho and Joao Moutinho during the off-season and are tipped to challenge Paris Saint-Germain for honours in the French top flight next term.

Toure joined the city-state club from UAE Pro-League outfit Ajman Club in January 2012.

The 27-year-old, who has been capped on four occasions by his country, has made 57 appearances in total since moving to France.
