Williams blasts Hazard for ball-boy incident

Swansea captain Ashley Williams has blasted Chelsea winger Eden Hazard for kicking a ball-boy during the sides' League Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
The Belgian was sent off in the second-leg 0-0 draw, as Swansea progressed through to the final on aggregate, following a bizarre incident in which he kicked the ball-boy in the ribs in an attempt to retrieve the ball.
Williams, who landed in hot water for kicking a ball into a defenceless Robin van Persie in December, could not understand Hazard's reaction.
"Demba Ba told me that the boy held onto it but I saw him kick him in the ribs and you can't do that," Williams told
Sky Sports.
Chelsea's official Twitter account read: "Has football gone mad? Hazard is sent off for kicking the ball under a ball boy attempting to smother the ball rather than return it."
The young ball-boy rolled over in an apparent attempt to smother the ball from Hazard, but in a twist, he had revealed his plans to waste time before the match on social media.
"The king of all ball boys is back making his final appearance #needed #for #timewasting," his post read on Twitter.
After much deliberation, referee Chris Foy brandished a red card at Hazard, who will face at least a three-match ban.
