Coupe de France wrap: Nantes crash out

Three-time Coupe De France champions Nantes have crashed out of the tournament on penalties at the hands of third division Epinal.

Nantes, who last won the Coupe De France in 2000, forced the game to extra time when Serbian forward Filip Dordevic scored in the 94th minute to cancel out Judicael Crillon's 59th minute opener.

After a goalless extra time period, Epinal keeper Olivier Robin saved two penalties as the underdogs won the shootout 4-3 and went through to the round of 16.

Lowly Ligue 1 side Troyes overcame their poor recent league form to trounce fourth division side Fontenay 5-0.

Having won only one of the last five league matches, Troyes were in control of the tie at half time after strikes to Marcos and Gregory Bettiol, before Jean-Christophe Bahebeck put the game out of reach in the 83rd minute.

There was also time for Tunisian substitute Fabien Camus to hit a late brace in the 89th and 93rd minutes.

Evian FC got a 2-0 victory at Vertou as the plucky fifth division side belied their lower league status.

Kevin Berigaud opened the scoring in the 24th minute for the Ligue 1 club, but it took until the 92nd minute to seal the game through Youseff Adnane.

High-flying Lorient won 1-0 at Ligue 2 side Sedan with Ludovic Giuly grabbing the game's only goal on 74 minutes.

Seventh-tier side Avenir Foot Lozere's fairytale cup run ended against Ligue 2's Le Havre, succumbing to three goals in the final 10 minutes.

Late strikes from Alexandre Bonnet, Sosthene Bah and Walid Mesloub put an end to Avenir's gallant challenge.

A gas leak at a chemical plant in northern France forced the tie between Rouen and Marseille to be postponed.
