Cisse yearns for Marseille move

30 April 2013 11:13

Djibril Cisse is looking for a move back to his native France following QPR's relegation.

With Rangers heading for the Championship a host of big names are set to leave Loftus Road, with Cisse a prime candidate for the exit door.

The Frenchman's loan spell at Qatari club Al Gharafa expires at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old told France Football: "Given how it has gone for them from a sporting viewpoint, [a return to QPR] does seem complicated.

The former Liverpool forward saw his place in the team go to January arrival and fellow France international Loic Remy.

A move back to Marseillle now looks on the cards after he said: "It would be a dream to go back or play for any club which can make me shine."

On the subject of his international aspirations, Cisse added: "I have Les Bleus in my heart. If I'm in a good team and if I do a good job I think it's possible.

"I have a crazy mind and when I have a goal in mind I do everything to achieve it."
